Hey all!

It's been a long hiatus, but a needed one. I want to assure you I wasn't abandoning the series, and I never will! I'd actually written the first five and a half chapters, hoping to get ahead of the game before I started uploading again. There were some roadblocks to me uploading this sooner, school of course being one. But what really made the hiatus longer than expected was the fact that six chapters in, I reread what I had written so far in this book, and I hated it.

I have no idea why. I honestly don't know what I was doing differently, but I loathed those chapters so much that I deleted all six chapters off my computer permanently and started over from the beginning. I'm two chapters back in, and I feel much better about it this time around. I'm also restructuring the book, changing a few things around in the outline, so I actually don't have a total chapter count yet. But I can give you the first few chapter names here!

I can also now give you a date for the upload of chapter one of book seven! How does March 20 sound: the first day of spring? I'll aim for weekly uploads for now, but once school lets out in the beginning of May, I can (and will) go on a writing rampage, because I can't wait to write the rest of this. I'm feeling so much better about it now after the reboot, and I hope you'll enjoy it, too!

Also: The cover art for Book 7 is here, and it's awesome. Thank you one final time to Andy for making these kickass covers! The link to that will be on my profile shortly.

And how about a short excerpt from Book 7?

"I just received word that my son is no longer at my house."

Auchland hadn't been expecting that. "What?" he asked. "Then where is he?"

"For some reason… I cannot tell," said Wilcox. "There are very few explanations to someone disappearing from my sight, and I think I know what the explanation for this is."

Auchland swallowed his question and waited instead.

"Lupin," said Wilcox. "He must have taken my son to wherever Desulgon was holed up out of my sight."

"Why would he do that?" asked Auchland. "Out of pity? Did they know you were going to do away with him?"

"No, you idiot," said Wilcox. "Isn't it obvious?"

Well... what do you think? Is it obvious to you? :)

See you in a couple of weeks for the beginning of the end!
