Marco and I snuggled together to fight the cold biting at our bedroom window. It was nearing Christmas and we were expected to get our first snow tonight. Even though the snow would prevent us from working, it was a good oppurtunity to go shopping. I wake up early to grab the oppurtunity, but Marco had a different plan.

"Marco, get up," I grumbled groggily as I made my way towards the bathroom to the shower.

"Rosie, it's like midnight. Why do we need to go shopping so early?" he mumbled into the pillow.

"Because we have to get necessities," I said while brushing my teeth. I finished brushing my teeth and walked back into the bedroom. "Now get up," I spat through gritted teeth while trying to pull him out of the bed. I kept yanking on his arm until I was winded. "I can't believe you made your pregnant girlfriend try and pull you out of bed," I said as I sat on his legs as another attempt to wake him up.

Then I got an idea. I attempted to flip his body over to where he was on his back. I tried kissing him, but he turned his head away. Well my loving approach didn't work, so time for the mean approach.

I took the comforter and the sheets which made Marco curl into a ball. Then I took the pillows. I turned the lights on and that finally did the trick.

"Fine Rosie. You win. I'm up," he laughed as he said it.

"You're worse than my sister," I said joining his laughter.

"Sorry Ro," he said motioning for me to come into his arms. We stood there embracing each other for a while before he kissed me.

"Morning beautiful," he whispered into my ear.

"Morning handsome," I whispered back. He knelt down so he was eye level with my barely-there bump.

"Morning peanut," he whispered to my stomach before pressing a kiss to it.

"I'm pretty sure the baby can't hear you yet," I said laughing at his antics.

"Well just in case," he replied, "Daddy loves you peanut."

"You are such a goofball," I said. "Now go get ready. We were supposed to leave an hour ago. We have to meet my parents for lunch."

"Oh. I forgot about that. Well let's get going," he said.
