A/N: Do enjoy this small drabble.

In truth, he thought her beautiful.

She was a fluttering butterfly, wings shimmering in the light everywhere she went. Her eyes, glowing like stars in the galaxy, could glare a hole straight through a person, or comfort one in mental anguish. Her skin, soft and smooth, held a guardian angel so determined, not even God himself could pull her from her goals. Her voice could take tones that could reel in any man, seductive yet carrying an authority. And that smile… oh god, that smile… could warm the coldest of hearts in the iciest of moment.

He was living proof of that.

She was truly a unique creature. Every time she dueled, he could feel her passion come out with her butterfly monsters. Watching her duel her partner one time, her obvious power was shown, the danger of her beauty piercing the air. He knew exactly what she was capable of, yet he was drawn to her, like a moth to a flame.

Oh, he knew of how much she cared for him. In fact, he would return those emotions tenfold if he knew exactly how. But she would always wait for him, no matter how long it took. He remembered the first time he had kissed her, on the balcony back when the finals for the WDC had been announced. Her lips had been so soft, oh so soft. Yet he did not tell her what he felt for her, not yet; he did not need this weakness exploited. He had wanted to protect her.

She had, unfortunately, used her beauty to wind her way into trouble.

It troubled him greatly. A woman, so beautiful and strong, had been defeated so simply. He couldn't help but close up afterwards, hearing the news from a fool without a clue about such a subject.

But he was glad when she was back and normal. Her smile calmed him, healed his broken soul. He courted her in secret, simply unable to resist temptation anymore. She was simply too pretty, too irresistible, to ignore.

Even if she could bring death, she was truly a beautiful creature. Her eyes, her hair, her voice, her determination… all of it was his.

She was his Night Butterfly.

A/N: Cute drabble for y'all. Review!
