CHAPTER 14

March 4th

March came and with it the football championship restarted. For the first game of the season, Harry was as ready as he could be. He had the huge skill level of 17, which represented a professional player skill, and doubted that the game would be challenging. Our protagonist was easily more skilled than his teacher and could probably out skill most of the talented adult amateurs on the country, bar some truly exceptional individuals.

March also brought the culmination of his immediate goals in terms of development of his character sheet. He elevated all his attributes exactly 5 points above average. He was stronger, faster, smarter and healthier than the average adult. When compared to his age peers, it was not even a contest.

With his currently 12 ST Harry was the tallest and strongest 10 years old of Little Whinging. Thanks to his ST our hero was unstoppable on the field, not only he appeared to never get tired, but no amount of effort from the other players could take him down. Since he bought back his skinny disadvantage and raised his ST, not once he failed to make his adversaries bounce back when they tried to fault him. If all that was not enough, his 12 HT, 14 DX and really high running skill make him run circles around his adversaries on the field.

To Harry this only meant one thing: It was not fair. At the start of his latest game the coach of his adversaries contested Harry's presence in the team. According to him, no 10 years old should be so tall and strong. Documents from the school were brought to prove that Harry had the stated age and the opposing team coaches almost fought before the match started. At the end of the game, after our protagonist utterly demolished the opposition by scoring 11 of the 12 goals of the match, he started to consider quitting the team.

The only thing that made him not to quit was the possible loss of character points. The golden quest promised him the best reward so far, especially if he got the bonus objective. So he went forward, feeling guilty of cheating the other kids but unwilling to give up so many potential character points.

At the moment Harry had other preoccupations besides his overpowered character sheet. He currently was on his way to Diagon Alley to see his magical solicitor, Octavius Greengrass. In the car with him were Mr. Heathcote and Mundungos, all three very anxious to how the meeting was going to proceed. The results of these conversations would define if their idea had any future or if it was doomed to be an illegal enterprise.

After parking Fletcher's Jaguar the two adults and the kid walked through the Leaky Cauldron to the alley. An initially confused Benjamin Heathcote gave place to a gob smacked one after they entered the dingy establishment. None of the bar patrons recognized any of the muggle dressed trio, Harry took the precaution of using a Manchester United cap to hide his scar and kept his head low at all times.

Once they were mostly ignored the trio opened the passage to the wall and that was when the things started to get really interesting. The old muggle was not ready for the magical market area. For several minutes he was unable to move and could just stare at the store fronts and all the colors and noises. Harry feigned surprise, but it was not needed. Dung was not the most perceptive person and Mr. Heathcote was too stunned to notice.

Since the group was on a schedule Fletcher started hurrying them and promising more time in the future to explore. While Mundungos physically dragged the older man to their destination, Harry utilized the opportunity to look around unimpeded. He noticed the lighter atmosphere, the happier faces and the overall better mood all around. Quietly he promised himself that he would not let Voldemort spoil all that this time around.

Dung took the group to a part of the alley that Harry never had been before. There the stores gave way to cafes, restaurants and small offices. One of the signs declared that the building belonged to a Magical Optometrist and from the house front windows Harry could see a large variety of glasses on display. 'I didn't even know a place like this existed…'

Promising to go back there after his meeting the boy went with the adults to one of the small offices.

Mr. Greengrass office was not pompous and did not appear to be high class. In retrospect, if this solicitor worked with Mundungos at any official capacity he could not be that expensive to begin with. Looking at the old and very used furniture the boy started to question the magical lawyer ability to do what was expected him to do. Giving a quick look at Mr. Heathcote direction confirmed that the old man was probably also having second thoughts about all this. As usual, Mundungos was completely oblivious to his companion's reactions and went straight to a door inside. There was no receptionist to greet them or anything like that so the two other followed.

The new room had the same feel as the reception area. You could feel the heavy usage and lack of maintenance. The ambient was not dirty, but no effort was apparently made to conserve or repair the furniture. A big bookcase showed a lot of big books that appeared to have seen better times and the wallpaper was peeling of at some parts of the wall. The rug was very thin and whatever the pattern showed it was almost indistinguishable at this point. Sitting in an old chair and behind a very worn desk was Octavius Greengrass.

Mr. Greengrass was a very colorfull figure. To start the magical solicitor was the most feminine man Harry had ever seen. His features were more delicate than the majority of the girls he knew, and since he knew lots of 10 years old girls that said a lot. His golden curls cascaded from his head to his shoulders and the middle of his back, his pale hands were tiny and appeared very fragile on a first glance. His nails were slightly long and also appeared manicured. The very subtle make-up the man was wearing did a very efficient job of emphasizing his large deep blue eyes.

If that was not enough, the man was wearing the frilliest baby-blue robes ever made. It has laces, floral patterns, little-butterfly buttons and ladybugs cufflinks and more embroidery than you hoped to see in your whole life. If not for the lack of breasts he would say that they were in front of a very extravagant woman. The fact that he would probably be a very beautiful woman is better left unsaid.

"Welcome! Mundungos, look at you! You are really changed! The muggle approach is surely working for you. You looking very strapping at the moment... I bet lots of women are lining up for you, aren't they?"

It was ludicrous that someone so girlish could have such a deep bass voice. The man before him probably had the deepest voice Harry ever heard. Both Mr. Heathcote and our hero were stunned by the man behavior and appearance and simply let Fletcher do all the talking.

"Yeah... Well, been living in the muggle side for a bit now. You know, till things settle down. Some people don't understand that making money can be difficult..."

Dung sat at one of the chairs and in a very quick succession everyone else was also sited. Mr. Greengrass talked with the other wizard for a little bit, asking about several people and situations while both Harry and Benjamin waited. After a while the magical solicitor decided to stop with the small talk and turned to the matter at hand.

"Well, that's great then. I hope everything goes right to you Mundungos. Well, we can talk about old times other time. Now, let's adress the reason all of you came here on the first place. Let me look at you. Remove the hat please and stand little one. Just let me have a good look at you."

Not knowing how to respond our hero decided to do what was asked. He removed his cap and stood in front of the eccentric man. Mr. Greengrass came closer and started looking studying the boy thoroughly.

"Yes, it's the Potter heir alright. Such a strapping fellow! Such nice features, such a great posture, such roguish attitude. And those beautiful green eye… The glasses however are hideous, you need to change them Mr. Potter. They don't do you any favor. Well, I'm satisfied. If nothing else, the scar gives you away. That and the unconquerable Potter hair. You appear to really be Harry Potter. So, here I am Mr. Potter. Octavius Greengrass. Nice to meet you! It is an immense pleasure to make your acquaintance."

The man extended his tinny hand on his direction and the boy returned the greeting in the same manner. The handshake was surprisingly firm and the boy was left wandering about it while the extravagant man went to introduce himself to the last man present.

"And you are the muggle lawyer. Benjamin Heathcote, am I correct? I was impressed by the documents you send me. Such a profound knowledge of the subtleties of magical law is usually not found by those outside our little magical society. I applaud your effort! Thanks for doing most of my work! We need to clarify a few things first, but I don't see why your plans wouldn't bear fruition."

Harry, and apparently Mr. Heathcote, was surprised by the man's words. Too used to facing several obstacles our hero could not avoid making a few remarks.

"And will be just like that? No long hearings? No contests? No opposition whatsoever?"

The man just smiled. If Harry was not sure that the person before him was indeed a man, he would say that it was a beautiful smile. Shuddering at the way his thoughts were going the boy shook his head and listened as Mr. Greengrass started talking.

"You see, this kind of thing is usually made without fanfare. If someone from an old family needs to establish a new business, like you are doing, they fill the forms, call a magical solicitor and present it in the ministry. The paper than will go to the ministry bureaucracy and will start going from one department to another for a few months before someone will actually read what it is written. Then, someone will finally sign it and store it on an official ledger. We just need to fill the forms in the correct way so I can make a requisition under the name of an old family. No one looks the business of old families closely; it would be very different you were not a Potter."

Harry was incredulous. He didn't know how to act; it couldn't possibly be that easy, could it?

"There is a very important thing for us to discuss first. You see, one of my daughters is absolutely mad about you. She has all your books and toys and she would never forgive me if I did not invite you to dinner at my home. Obviously, Mr. Heathcote and Mundungos are also invited. And please remember that I will not accept no for an answer."

Diagon Alley was just as Harry remembered. The stores, the people, the sounds and smells, everything looked exactly like it should. At this point our hero didn't even try to separate the game from his old experiences. Things just were.

While Benjamin and Octavius went over the legal texts looking for a flawless request, Mundungos took our young hero for a walk on the famous wizard hub. Wearing his cap the boy and his "guide" went about looking at the items on display and did a little window shopping. Their first stop was to the magical optometrist. The idea of new glasses was very pleasant to him, especially if said glasses could be enchanted.

They were well received by an older wizard. The man appeared to be on his fifties but his hair was completely white, he also used an overly large pair of brown glasses that dominated most of his face. The man received the pair eagerly by quickly showing them inside.

"Welcome! Welcome! Please come in! Are you looking for a pair of glasses?"

The man looked friendly enough, if a little desperate. The store was full of glasses, tables and chairs. What it lacked, however, were clients. Mundungos made himself at home, sat on one of the chairs and accepted the offer for a cup of tea. Harry however was much more interested on the great number of pieces on display.

The sheer number of color and forms of frames were staggering. If that was not enough, some of them were clearly magical, they would glow, move, and even in a few cases fly around near the ceiling of the store. Others appeared less magical, but not less unusual with their several moving parts or overlaid lenses. The boy never ceased to be amazed how the magical world could produce such incredible results even on the most banal things.

"Excuse me, Mr…?"

"Lipser!"

"Mr. Lipser! I'm thinking on buying myself a new pair of glasses, you know, to replace my old ones. Maybe you could help me out?"

"Sure! That's what we are here for! Do you have a prescription?"

Harry looked a little disappointed at the man before answering.

"Not really. Is that a problem?"

The man shook his head dismissively.

"No, no, no… Some people prefer to get prescriptions from their healers before coming here, but there is no reason why I can't check your vision right here at the shop. If you follow me we can do this right now."

The man conducted our protagonist to what could be described as a large telescope with two places to look through. He waved on the contraption direction inviting Harry to approach.

"It is really simple. You're obviously muggleborn so I'll explain how it works. This is nothing like the complicated muggle doctor exams, all you had to do is place your eyes here and the artifact will spill a piece of parchment with all the information I need to fabricate your lenses. After that you select one of the frames and I'll put the two together! It's easy. No need for a mastery on the healing arts to do this... Dunno why so many people distrust my creations... Anyway, want to try?"

The boy had to agree that the procedure looks easy. The shop owner last words however let him a little concerned. Deciding that the power of the save scumming was on his side he removed his cap and approached the weird machine. He stopped midway when he heard the man gasping for air before blabbering.

"You're Harry Potter!"

'Oh yeah, that...' Harry had to wait a little more to check his eyes. The man insisted on shaking his hand and thanking him profusely. Also, the man went on and on about how grateful he was about everything our hero had done for the magical world. After enduring the affair for a few minutes, the boy could finally proceed to have his eyes checked.

A loud noise, a big flash and a strong flux of cold air on his face and then finally the piece of parchment went out of the weird contraption. Our hero was still blinking while the man was studding the results.

"Hum... Okay, that seems correct. Now Mr. Potter, please, all you have to do is select a frame and you can have new glasses!"

After browsing a little the boy selected a small rectangular golden frame. The shopkeeper enthused about his choice before finally asking if that would be everything.

"Well no. We are in a magical shop. So, what kind of magic can you put in the glasses?"

Mr. Lipser smiled when he heard that, Mundungos raised his eyes to look at the duo suddenly interested.

"I'm glad you asked Mr. Potter! I'm really glad you did! You see even if you chose one of my plain frame models, there are lot of things we could enchant it too! We can enchant it to glow in the dark, so you can find it without problem during the night, we can make it sing you soothing songs when you're nervous, or we could make it vibrate massaging your temple when you feel stressed out! The possibilities are really interesting, you see..."

The man went on. He talked and Harry listened. The majority of his "enhancements" were just plain silly, but some were useful. Also, according with the explanation, the magical improvements could be used on the frame or in the lenses. This way, when he grew older, or just feels the need to change glasses he could only change the frame and keep the same enchanted lenses.

"... It is really easy, see? All you have to do is bring me the glasses and I'll cast one of my specialized spells to adjust your prescription, re-size the lenses to the new frame and you can re-utilize them theoretically forever! Glasses are a great long term investment!"

Harry was contemplating what he wanted when Mundungos started asking his own questions. Our protagonist didn't want to lose his glasses so an in-build summoning charm would be way better than making them glow, just as long it worked only for him. Also, some kind of magic to prevent the piece from being removed from his face by anyone but him would prevent a great deal of problems in the future. Glasses were fragile things, so some kind of hardening magic to ensure that they wouldn't break was always a good idea. 'Don't need to make it indestructible, just sturdier than my face.'

"... No, no, no! I can't sell that kind of thing! You see, that is illegal to do. I'm not authorized to sell these things to anyone but the law enforcement. Some people could try to use this type of aura sight to try to bypass ward or things like that. So, the ministry doesn't allow me to sell it to the general public."

'You can always count on Dung being Dung.' Harry was only half-listening to the conversation of the wizards, but he got the gist of it. The MLE would try to keep its population away from anything that could cause problems in the future. A burglar who could see and avoid wards would fit exactly on this description. 'Yeah, these rules exist so that guys like Dung won't get their hands on something like that.'

However our hero would not give up so easily. Even if this stuff was outlawed, they would still be useful. So, he decided to see what other useful stuff could be used on his future glasses. Choosing the cunning approach the boy just encouraged the man a little bit.

"You can enchant glasses this way? This sounds terribly complicated..."

The man felt the need to defend his professional skills and so he immediately started to answer.

"Not all people can. I spent many years perfecting my craft you know? I'm the best lens manufacturer from magical Britain! And that is something I'm very proud off! I am the pioneer on developing new ways to enhance your vision!"

'Mr. Lipser is sure full of himself.' Nevertheless, our hero decided to see where this was going.

"Really? That's really interesting. So, tell me, what do you consider to be your best work up to date?"

The answer comes immediately.

"That's easy. A few years ago an auror saved my daughter when some of you-know-who men were terrorizing diagonal alley. He lost his eye on the process. So, I went all the way to make him a replacement. I put all I could to make up for his loss. He is quite famous, maybe you know him. Have you ever heard of Alastor Moody?"

Harry eyes widened, he could not avoid it. In front of him was a guy claiming to be the one that actually made Mad-eye artificial eye. 'Good thing that I didn't chose the Honesty disadvantage because there is no way I'm going out of here without a highly illegal pair of glasses.'

"200 galleons!"

"That was what the man said."

"But 200 galleons!"

"You already said that, but you heard him, it's a month's job. A whole month of his work for a unique piece that could be invaluable on a lot of situations."

"But still, 200 galleons..."

"Hey, he tried to charge 400 galleons, but obviously he only did that to try to scare me away from buying it. I don't think he was really prepared to bargain with me, especially considering that I can really drive a hard bargain."

Mundungos continued to mumble a few words. Harry could still hear the sentence "200 galleons" here and there, but the old man was apparently calming down. The price was high, but how could he pass the opportunity to have a magical pair of glasses with the same features as Moody's magical eye? It was just money, he could always earn more.

After Mr. Lipser reveal that he was in fact the maker of the mentioned magical eye, Harry entered his gamer mindset. Using his fast-talk skill, combined with his luck advantage, he convinced the glasses maker to break the law and make him a pair of glasses with most, if not all, of the special enhancements that the famous magical eye had. He probably had a huge negative modifier, but his fast-talk skill were up to the challenge, especially when he insisted that by being the boy who lived the pair of glasses could potentially save his life.

Bargaining for a better price was just a formality, now he had to get his hand on 200 galleons, 100 on advance and 100 on the delivery of the finished product. 200 galleons translated on approximately £20,000.00. He had this kind of money on hand just a few months back, but he used almost all of it by investing on his new business. He was sure that Mr. Heathcote was putting a lot more money on it so he didn't even hesitated to give what he had available.

Now, however he needed more. And fast. Mr. Lipser would only start making the special lenses once he received the advance so sooner he got the money to him, sooner he would start to work.

"Say Dung, do you know if there is a way to access your own vault without having the key?"

The older wizard looked at the young one and after considering it for a while he finally answered.

"There must be. It would be really weird if you could only have one key. After all I have… hum… found… a few Gringots keys before. It's hard to imagine that their owners also lost everything on their vault when they… hum… lost… their old keys."

'Dung finding keys? Yeah right! Probably finding them in their previous owners pockets.' Ignoring his friend less than savory, hopefully old, habits, Harry considered what the magical thief had said. It was pretty obvious that there must be a way to replace lost keys; no one on their right mind would risk leaving their economies in a bank if everything you own could simply become unavailable forever by losing a simple key.

'Yes, that will work. Time to visit the goblins.'

March 20th

"Quest Completed. Reputation with Petunia Dursley +50. Reputation with Vernon Dursley +50."

"Reward claimed: 5 character points gained. Bonus objective completed: 7 additional character points gained."

"Well boy, you did it and a first grade job too. The house looks amazing, old Mr. Heathcote really taught you some things, didn't he? As promised, you can now live in the old guest room. I know I don't say this often but... I... Well... We, me and your aunt, are grateful."

With that said, Vernon left and the awkward moment ended. With this quest completion Harry's social score with both his aunt and uncle went on the positive numbers. That meant that they actually liked him, even if it was just a little bit. It was the fulfillment of a very long and arduous process of doing chores, not complaining, not entering in any kind of confusion and especially not doing any accidental magic.

Looking at his new room our hero could not stop being proud of himself. Most of the room was now made from MDF furniture in a very good taste and very carefully crafted. The bed, desk, wardrobe and chest all appeared to have been purchased from high-end custom made manufacturers. If that was not enough, the Dursleys used the opportunity to change the carpet from the entire second floor, so the house looked completely different from what it was before.

Now that his room was ready and his most time consuming quest to date was completed he could finally decide what to do with his unspent points. After all his simple quests, football games, and full blown quests Harry now had 46 unspent points. It was the largest amount he ever saved and he thought that now it was the time to use them.

Looking through the advantage list, our protagonist found the one he was looking and decided to re-read it to make sure he was entering the correct bandwagon.

"Eidetic Memory: 30/60 points advantage - You remember everything you see or hear. This talent comes in two levels.

At the first level, you remember the general sense of everything you concentrate on. Thus, all points you put into "regular" mental skills count double. You also get a +1 on magic spells. Cost: 30 points.

The second level is true "photographic memory." You remember everything that has ever happened to you! All points you put into "regular" mental skills count quadruple. You get a +2 bonus on magic spells. Cost: 60 points."

For 30 points Harry could gain a huge bonus on the majority of his skills, the mental ones, as an extra he would have near perfect recall and a skill level on all his future magical spells. It was really difficult to go wrong with that. Our hero was ready to commit the points when he decided to check his sheet one last time.

Everything looked fine for him. His attributes were very solid, for a 10 years old or a full grown adult, his advantages were useful and his skill were all very high, even if the majority of it were on the mundane side. What bothered him a little was the huge, in his opinion, number of disadvantages. 'Should I buy some of them back?'

The question was a good one. Harry had the points to buy any of his disadvantages back at the moment, maybe even two of them. However, if he did that, Eidetic Memory would have to wait a little while. Not knowing exactly how to proceed our hero decided to make a few tests.

In the end it was a very simple test. Harry would try buying the advantage or buying back the disadvantages and see how he felt after he had done it! With his save ability it was very simple to save the game, spend the points, see how he felt about it and them load and made a decision about it.

"Game Saved."

Harry started by buying the Eidetic Memory. He un-paused the game and started looking around, trying to feel any different. It was a weird feeling. Harry didn't feel any smarter than before. In truth he felt exactly the same. Sure, when he looked around he remembered all the details of every furniture he made, he also remembered all he did to do every part of it and an approximation of how much work he dedicated to each and every piece.

He also remembered that it was better be finished with this soon, since he had promised Dudley to go with him to the park and play a little football with the other kids from the neighborhood. But first he would give back some of the tools he borrowed from Mr. Heathcote, and…

Harry mind was spinning madly in all directions. He remembered so many things and facts that were not even funny. Maybe in the future he would get used to it, but right now he was suffering from information overload. 'It is an overpowered advantage, that's for sure, but not exactly essential at the moment.'

The sensation was not bad, and he was sure that if enough time get by he would be used to it, but at the moment he had other options to explore. As such, he loaded the game.

If buying Eidetic Memory was confusing, losing it was much worse. When he acquired the advantage he didn't felt any smarter, but as he lost it he could see the huge gaps on his knowledge. All those little details that he remembered quite vivid were now gone and replaced with some kind of general information instead. It was surreal to see the changes in his mind like this but at the same weirdly enlightening.

With nothing left to do, the boy decided to continue with his experience. Looking at his disadvantage list he saw that the first one he could buy back was his bad reputation with Little Whinging. It was the cheapest one and the one that surely would not bring any benefit on the long run. Looking at his social score with his neighborhood and seeing the currently value over 300 points brought the fact that his reputation didn't really matter in the end. His effort to charm people had paid off and most of them liked him even if they consider him a troublemaker.

Decision made, Harry didn't even bother to buy the bad reputation back. To really test it he would have to waste time by going around the neighborhood and seeing the results as he interacted with the neighbors. It was too much of a wasted effort on something he already considered a total waste of points.

After skipping the reputation, the next on the list was the Bad Sight one. At -10 points, it required 20 points and without further delay, our hero committed what was needed. Immediately his vision blurred and he found himself having a really bad time seeing stuff. After removing his old pair of glasses he immediately felt better and entered the amazing world of the people who had perfect vision.

'Well, it sure is nice to see everything perfectly.' Once again Harry paced around his room looking at things. Instead of focusing on memories, Harry was now committing the details of the furniture and objects to his mind. The window also brought a nice vision and for a few minutes the boy just contemplated the clouds on the sky. The feeling of the slightly breeze on his uncovered eyes were also a plus on his opinion.

'According to Mr. Lipser, my currently glasses were not with the correct prescription. So maybe that's why buying the disadvantage back made such a difference.' If Harry was true to himself he already decided that he would not waste his points on the bad sight right now. He just ordered a really overpriced pair of glasses full of very cool enchantments and not using it would be a waste. Sure, he could still use the glasses; even if doesn't need them, but why would he do such a thing? Better spent the points on other, more useful, stuff.

After loading the game our protagonist went back to the list. Next one was Bad Temper who also was a -10 disadvantage. After buying this one back Harry, once again, felt no difference whatsoever. In retrospect it was quite obvious that it would be like that, after all he was not under any stress at the moment and the description of disadvantage said that it was much more reactive than any other.

Trying to ignore the difference between the perfect vision he had a few moments ago and his once again bad sight Harry tried to focus on what he was feeling. It was hard to see any alteration, he had to try and remember some of his old fights from his new perspective, especially some of the ones involving Malfoy before he could see any result. If before he always felt completely justified on his actions, now he felt juvenile and a little silly.

Being a little more mature and controlled would obviously help. Not losing his temper would be great for a change. But all of that was hypothetical, since the boy couldn't feel any different at the moment. 'Well nothing to do but move on…'

Next on the list was the Impulsiveness disadvantage. Immediately after buying it back Harry felt himself relax. It was difficult for him to describe how it felt, but the best approximation would be that he was suddenly under a mild calming potion.

The urgency he always felt, that nagging feeling that he should be doing something, the pull to actually stand up and act was completely gone. He could feel immediately more at easy, his mind was also more focused, his plans suddenly felt rushed, all his preparations were lacking and he felt more than a little embarrassed at his previous impatience.

Of everything he tried so far, buying back his Impulsiveness brought the biggest change in his way of thinking. At least when you consider that he was not in any kind of tense situation or having to deal with annoying people.

Buying back mental disadvantages or buying new mental advantages could be strangely disorientating. To Harry it felt like he was taking mood altering potions but he could also accept the analogy of being lobotomized. It was like you suddenly cut some part of your mind loose, some part you didn't know it was bound by something intangible. It was probably the same sensation he had when he got the Lecherousness disadvantage, but at the time he was too worried with other thing to really notice the effects.

Speaking of Lecherousness, it was time to try removing it. Loading his game and recovering his Impulsiveness Harry went forward and bought his depravity back. At a "worth" of -15 points, it cost more than the other ones to be bought back, nevertheless, as stated before, our hero could afford it.

Initially Harry didn't feel anything different. The last thing on his mind at the moment was the fairer sex but since he was thinking about the mentioned disadvantage he had to face what were his feelings on the subject. At first it was okay, he was kind of happy to think that his brain was not so focused on inappropriate behavior, but that passed quickly. Pretty soon our protagonist was remembering all the situations he had provoked.

The guilty weighed heavily on our hero. He thought about Emma and how he corrupted the little girl. He manipulated and seduced a 10 years old just for the hack of it. If that was not enough, the girl now worshiped him, and according with the game rules he didn't even know how to make her stop liking him this way. The idea that he purposely orchestrated this situation quickly overwhelmed his senses and he felt especially awful.

That goes without mentioning what he did to Hermione… He exploited the girl need for affection; he destroyed something pure before it even had the opportunity to blossom. His best friend Hermione, her sister in everything but blood was now one more of his conquests. He felt cheap, he felt like a monster, like a sexual predator…

Feeling awful about himself Harry loaded the saved game. Just like that, his overwhelming guilty receded to its normal levels and he felt his eternal inner conflict settle in his current balanced state. 'That was really unpleasant. Well, one more to go.'

The last of the list was his Sense of Duty, with the observation of Hero Complex. It promised to be another trip on the emotion lane, but the boy was committed and as such he bought the last disadvantage back.

Quickly every remaining guilt he felt disappeared. He felt good. More than good, he felt great! A gigantic burden he didn't know had been removed from his back. Nothing really has changed, but he FELT completely different. The world was suddenly more fun, lighter. Who really cared if he was a little pervert, he wasn't hurting anyone. Sure Emma and Hermione were just little girls, but he really liked them, with his game abilities he was certain that he could make everything be alright in the end. And, when the girls a little older…

Apart from that, the removal of that specific disadvantage removed Harry's "saving people thing". He didn't feel the need to risk himself for the others as before. If faced with the same choices he had on his last life he now should make very different choices. Sure, other people could try to pressure him on the role of the hero, but right now this pressure was not coming from within, and that made all the difference.

And, just like that, Harry decided to stick with buying his Sense of Duty back. That costed him 20 points, leaving him with 26 more to spend. He could buy yet another disadvantage at this point, but he wanted to experience things a little bit before he continued with his own mind refurbishing.

Also without the sense of duty his lecherousness was now unleashed. Wishing to explore a little bit and wanting to make things even easier for him he decided to spend another 10 points to enhance his personal appearance to the second level, becoming handsome. Fathers of daughters in all Great Britain felt an inexplicable shiver run down their spines.

With his remaining 16 points, the boy acquired 4 extra points of Strong Will. That way he planned to resist better to the other disadvantages without buying them back, at least until he was ready to remove them completely. Strong Will would also be very useful in the future since, according with the advantage description, it also helped to resist against spell effects.

Looking himself at the mirror the boy said to himself.

"Damn! I'm looking good!"

After that he went after his dear Emma.

March 30th

The Greengrass's home was located in a rural area close to London but outside its limits. It has a located in the middle of cropping fields and was pretty similar to the burrow on its surroundings. The house itself however was very different, it looked old and solid, something that resisted the trial of time.

The open invitation for dinner was reinforced many times by the magical solicitor until Mr. Heathcote had no other option other than accept it. The muggle lawyer still had much to discuss with its magical counterpart and Harry was resigned to be forced to spend several hours with a pair of preteen fan-girls.

Harry remembered Daphne Greengras from his last life. She was a slytherin that went to Hogwarts at the same time as him. He didn't remember much of the girl personally, never truly having interacted with her, but he remembers the vicious gossip that his fellow Gryffindors used to spread about her. Lavander and Pavarti used to say that the girl intellect was just a little above Crabble and Goyle, only paying attention to boys with a lot of money. Given the fact that Daphne was easily one of the most beautiful girls in school, Harry was not sure how much of that was true and how much was the result of jealousy. Astoria, however, was a big unknown, Harry could not remember the girl at all, not from appearance or any comment made by anyone.

On the bright side, Daphne was drop dead gorgeous. Or she would be. Harry couldn't really remember the girl when she was eleven, but when she was 16 he and all the other boys in his dormitory made a point of discussing her many assets several times every month. Without his Sense of Duty to stand in his way, our hero was considering that maybe a mild case of Hero worship was not a bad thing after all. 'At least if the fan was such a pretty thing like Daphne…'

While our protagonist was daydreaming with a 16 years old Daphne, Mr. Heathcote drove the pair to the Greengass property. He was looking around, completely lost, and saying that they should be at the wrong address when Harry grabbed his hand and forced him past the wards. The old man was complaining about magic when both boy and old man were received by a very welcoming Greengrass patriarch.

"Mr. Potter! Benjamin! Welcome to my home! Please come in! We're waiting for you. The kids are on the back. My wife is coming soon, she went to the market with my youngest one. I still want to try for a boy, but I don't believe Olga will want another baby. At least not so soon..."

The man was wearing a very frilly orange and purple robe. The man was so girly in his antics, general behavior and fashion choices that anyone would have a hard time believing that he fathered 3 daughters. He also talked non-stop, and that was the main reason that our protagonist preferred to avoid the man. As soon as the greeting ritual was over, Harry excused himself and went to the backyard to meet the 'kids his age'.

According to the game system someone's appearance could be an advantage, a disadvantage or neither. If someone is good lucking he would have an advantage, if the person looks bad he would have a disadvantage. Both advantage and disadvantage came with "levels". The advantage was divided into how pleasant the person was, the first level was attractive, the second was handsome/beautiful and the third and final level would be very handsome/very beautiful. The same could be applied to the bad appearance, but for now no one was really interested on that.

Harry considered himself an admirer of the female beauty. He constantly appreciated it and spend many hours every day contemplating the girls and woman from his school and neighborhood. Mrs. Aguilar was easily the most beautiful woman from Little Whinging. If he would classify her he would put her in the Very Beautiful category. The game agreed with him because he suffered a -10 modifier in the will roll when trying to resist flirting with her. Emma's mom was also beautiful, but not very beautiful; the game demanded a -5 modifier on his will roll when he resisted his more basic urges. If he followed this trend he could say that Emma was between attractive and beautiful, tending more to the beautiful side but still not there yet. Hermione however was a solid attractive and she would need to fix a few things before she could be considered beautiful.

Daphne and her sister Astoria were firmly on the very beautiful category. The good news for Harry was that he was not really attracted to kids and even if he liked to flirt with every girl he met, he was not feeling an overwhelming need to. Daphne was the oldest with apparently the same age of Harry being Astoria younger by approximately two years. Both girls were blondes with fair complexion, their eyes were both blue, Daphne's being a little darker than Astoria's, but their faces were different enough that you had to pay close attention to find their resemblance. Astoria looked just like her father, having the same nose, general semblance and curly hair. Daphne however had a more austere look and very straight hair falling to the middle of her back.

When Harry arrived the girls appeared to be in the middle of a very heated argument but everything came to a stop when he opened the door. Both girls turned to the boy forgetting her quarrel completely and focusing entirely on the newcomer.

"Hello! I'm Harry Potter. And you should be the Greengrass sisters. Your father told me that you want to meet me. It's certainly a pleasure to meet you!"

Harry was a little reluctant but in the end he had to concede that Lavander and Pavarti were right. Daphne was an airhead. At first the boy thought that she was surprised and a little intimidated by being in the presence of THE Harry Potter, but that was not the case. She obviously had the Absent-mindedness disadvantage combined with a low IQ. 'If she was not so cute when confused I would be really exasperated by now…'

Astoria however was the complete opposite. She was smart, very smart. She was also very mean spirited and more than a little malicious, especially when her sister was involved. Harry didn't really know if that was the norm for sisterly behavior, but the young Greengrass was constantly making the older one embarrassed with veiled insults and word games.

Daphne was already 11 and Astoria would be 9 in a months' time. As advertised by their father, both girls were huge fans of the Harry Potter legend and, accordingly to Astoria, they had every book about him ever published. Astoria took the boy to show him her copies of the books and after a lot of pouting and begging Harry finally relented and signed them. After that she took the boy to her sister's room and showed the older sister's Harry Potter stuffed doll. When Astoria commented that her sister slept every night cuddling with the doll, Daphne locked herself in the bathroom and didn't come out for a while.

For the first time since he acquired his Lecherousness disadvantage Harry didn't want to flirt with these girls. Embarrassing Daphne was just too easy and Astoria personality repulsed him more than a little. However he felt the need to do some sort of payback to the young girl and ended using his sex-appeal to embarrass the living hell out of her.

It worked as intended, Astoria suddenly was not as comfortable and didn't know what to say. Daphne however became exceedingly jealous of the exchange and to avoid making the older girl miserable he flirted with her too. For Harry it was a surreal experience, for the first time he used his sex-appeal not for the fun it brought, but to actively manipulate people around him. If he still had a strong sense of morals he would probably be feeling guilty by now, or would not have done it…

Everything changed when Olga Greengrass arrived. The woman dispelled any doubt from where Daphne looks came from. Mrs. Greengrass was very comfortably positioned in the Very Beautiful category. She was also blond and blue eyed, her skin however was different from the rest of her family because it was tanned to a perfect tone of bronze. Her breasts were huge and gravity defying and when she smiled, something that she did a lot, a perfect row of white teeth were more than enough to make any man start to daydream.

All that was just to say that Harry was screwed. He failed his will roll, even with his 6 levels of Strong Will he only had a 40% chance of success, and was immediately over the woman filling her ear with sweet words and suggestive comments. For good, or bad, he was successful on his sex-appeal test and the woman appeared very interest in what the boy had to say.

For the rest of the evening, the woman could not keep her hands quiet and caressed the boy's hair and ear while they talked. Neither Daphne, Astoria or the little 2 years old Stephanie could make her stay away from our hero for a long time. Mr. Heathcote and Mr. Greengrass witnessed everything and while the old war veteran was awkwardly aware of what happened the magical solicitor didn't noticed or didn't care for the display.

After a relatively long, for Mr. Heathcote, or short, for Harry, diner the event reached its end. A very enthusiastic Harry accepted the invitation to Astoria's birthday in just a month's time. Mr. Heathcote was a lot more reluctant and stared at Harry for a long time before finally agreeing coming to the party.

"Lad. I just can't believe that you did what you did…"

Harry had the sense to look embarrassed and just smiled sheepishly. Since the boy remained quiet the old man continued talking.

"I'll never introduce you to my granddaughter. You're a menace… A ten years old menace. I don't know why people say you're a delinquent. You're something much more dangerous than that…"

As the car went on his way a grown woman and two girls sighed longingly.

April 8th

"Come on Harry… What are we even doing here?"

Dudley was complaining loudly, Emma didn't look particularly happy either. Harry however didn't care. He had explicitly told them that they needn't come if they didn't want to. It was by their own volition that they chose to follow him.

The trio was currently on the bleachers of the gymnasium in the local high-school. Harry was very focused on the group of teenage girls that were currently training on the floor below him. Said teenagers were all wearing leotards and doing several types of activities. Some were doing routines with ribbons, some were using hula-hoops and others were using neither. Harry was much more focused on the girls on the side, that ones were doing stretching exercises.

Our protagonist had a very weird smile on his face, a smile that in a less handsome face would look very disturbing. Nevertheless, he asked, and received, permission from the teacher responsible for the team to be there, so technically he was doing nothing wrong. So he and his friends watched. After a while Emma finally couldn't hold anymore and pouted a little before whining.

"Harry, please… I agree with Dudley, this is boring! Let's do something else…"

The green eyed boy adjusted his recently delivered brand new magical glasses before raising from his place.

"Okay guys. I'm ready to go. I just developed a new found love for artistic gymnastic, that's all."

Still smiling he led the two other kids out of the building. While they walked Emma decided to question him.

"Do you really like gymnastic so much? Do intend to start practicing it or something?"

The boy shrugged.

"Nah, it's not that. I just like watching girls practicing it…"

"Really? Do you think I should try? Would you want me to?"

The boy smiled, hugged his girlfriend and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"You don't need to. You should practice a sport if you like it, not just to please me. It'll be always your choice, not mine."

The trio went away to the park. One boy was eager to arrive to finally start playing some game, the other was savoring a new set of pleasant memories. The girl however was considering joining a gymnastic team on the near future.

April 17th

Astoria's birthday was a dream that came true. The reason for this was just one: Harry Potter.

She always liked the stories but also was very aware that the Harry Potter from the books could not possible be real. No one could do all those things that the books described, not even fully grown wizards. Her stupid sister however was a believer and she always mocked Daphne for being so naïve.

But then she met the real Harry Potter. He was not what she expected. What she was expecting was a regular brat full of himself with maybe a trick or two given who he was. She could not have been more wrong. Harry was handsome, charming, tall, strong, polite, funny… He was a dream!

Yes, Astoria was completely infatuated. She could not help it. He would smile at her and then speak sweet words with that lovely voice of his and she had no other choice than turn into mush and just smile stupidly. When he arrived with the old muggle and climb out of the muggle car she didn't think she could be any happier. When he came, gave her a big present and them kissed her, just on the corner of her mouth, she thought she was going to faint!

All her friends were equally charmed and envious of her, as they should be, and she spent most of her time trying to attract Harry's attention to her. Sure, her sister and a few of her guests kept trying to hog him, but some insults, threats and spilled juice were enough to scare any competition away. She especially liked when Daphne went crying for the bathroom, even if Harry said that he didn't liked her attitude and told her to be nicer. But he forgave her in no time, he was special like that, so everything was okay.

One thing that confused the girl was that her Harry was constantly looking or trying to approach her mother. Her mother would also go talk to him on several occasions and she was always petting him, caressing him and looking him in a strange way. She thought that she should be jealous but she didn't really understand why her Harry and her mom were apparently so close. No one else said anything, but no one else was paying so much attention to Harry like her. Maybe Daphne could have seen the same pattern, but her sister was stupid and didn't count. If it was anyone else she would probably corner it and demand an answer, but that wouldn't work with her mother. Astoria was a bit scared of her mother and never liked to provoke her.

Overall it was a great day. Her presents were sufficient and she absolutely loved the stuffed bear that Harry gave her. Sure, she never paid much attention to stuffed animals before, but this one was from Harry. It had a small heart in the place of its nose so it has to have a special meaning, right?

Even the end of her special day was perfect. Harry gave her a huge hug, told her that she was absolutely adorable. He also recommended that she should smile more and be nicer to everyone, especially to her sister. He then gave her a kiss. A kiss on the lips! Sure, it was a light kiss and ended really quick, but it was her first kiss nonetheless.

The small blonde hugged her new stuffed bear with all her strength and kissed it several times. She would try to be nicer, even with her stupid sister… She then opened her favorite book of the Harry Potter series and stared at the back cover where the title was displayed. She very carefully picked a feather and dipped its tip on the ink bottle. With a very neat line she drew a heart surrounding the name of the boy. Under it, but still inside the heart she drew a plus sign. Further down she wroth: Astoria Potter.

May 24th

Harry was swimming on character points. After almost 9 months making sure that he succeeded on two simple quests a day and completing every quest he could find, our hero was now a powerhouse of points. Thanks for the quests of winning football matches and the eventual quest of finding Emma's dog Harry had more points than he particularly needed.

So, he went on a spending spree. After a very physical attempt of an adversary team of disabling him from playing, our hero decided to give himself another layer of protection by buying his second level of toughness. So now, accordingly to game rules it was practically impossible for him to get any lesion by simply playing the game. A 2 points damage resistance was enough to block all damage a 10 years old could ditch while trying to make it look accidental.

His next focus was raising his Strong Will even more. What he wanted, and finally got, was to neutralize the -10 negative modifiers he received when facing a very beautiful woman. So, he ended with a +10 strong will. That would surely come handy when someone tried to curse him in the future…

On another front, since our protagonist was much more morally flexible, he decided that having very high social stats would be more beneficial than evil. So he spent a lot of his points raising his charisma. This had the effect of elevating the young boy to the absolute top of the popularity scope on his school. Everyone on his school, and also on his neighborhood, genuinely thought that he was a good guy, even if they still inexplicably think that he was a delinquent.

Other solid investment was on his perception capabilities. By investing in Alertness he raised his capacity of detecting people trying to sneak on him. As a bonus he also became much more perceptive to all the details around, not much would pass by without notice anymore.

By the end of the spending extravaganza our hero still had points and decided to buy back yet another disadvantage. By repeating the same ritual he did before, Harry decided to buy back his Impulsiveness. That had the added result of making himself less anxious with his points and offered him a much more relaxed stance on the acquisition and spending of said points.

At this moment the boy was deciding where he would spend his future points. He didn't like to play around with his mind too much, so he was unwilling to spend his future points on another mental disadvantage or something like eidetic memory right away. As such he was a little limited on what he could do at the moment. 'Maybe I should buy more attributes? You could never go wrong with more attribute points…'

Harry thought about all this while he attended the inauguration party. His furniture and art restoring shop was finally open for business and Mr. Heathcote took upon himself on inviting several high-class people to attend. His son and daughter families were also attending and until now our hero was behaving. He resisted flirting with Mr. Heathcote granddaughter, a lovely 16 years old brunet, and was keeping his promise to not seduce anyone.

The Dursleys were also attending. His uncle and aunt were very elegant on brand new clothes. His aunt looked particularly happy while mingling with the upper crust of the London society. Lately Harry's relationship with his adult relatives has been developing on much more agreeable terms. As his relationship score with them rose they started treating him with less hostility, then with more civility and now you could even see genuine displays of affection. On Harry's last football victory his uncle was so proud that he invited the entire team to eat pizza at his expenses.

Dung was another surprise. On the last few months, on his own volition, the wizard took some etiquette classes. He continued to be an uncultured low life, but at least now he knew when to shut up and consistently avoided releasing farts in front of polite company. His suit was also very nice.

Other known guests were the obviously the Strodes and the Greengrasses. While Emma's parents were elegant but discreet, Mr. and Mrs. Greengrass could not possible bring more attention to themselves. Octavius was wearing a light purple suit with floral patterns while Olga had the most obscene cleavage a woman could use while on polite company. Harry was not complaining, it was a nice display.

Harry was surrounded by his friends. His cousin Dudley, Emma and the two older Greengrass sisters were around him. All of them were doing their best to try and earn Harry's attention. Harry was polite enough to don't play favorites but he also couldn't keep his eyes from wandering to Mrs. Greengrass or one of the other beautiful lady guests. Our hero sometimes would adjust his glasses while looking at some of them and smile in his very unique weird way.

When Hermione and her parents came through the door, Harry also smiled at how cute his friend looked wearing a formal dress. The boy also gave the girl's mother a long glance over, since she was also an attractive woman, but any urge of flirtation with her was quickly crushed by a will roll.

After the adults finished introducing themselves the girl was finally free to go to her friend side. This was also the cue to start another round of introductions, this time between the children.

"Hello Hermione! Welcome to the kids' corner! It's much more funny and entertaining than the adult's side. Here we can talk about toys, game and kids' stuff without proper decorum! We can also point and laugh and even stare other people without any consequence."

Harry was, as usual, being his charming self. Every one of the kids in the group liked him more than anyone else in the entire world and that was the big problem. Everyone was jealous of everyone else. Even Dudley was bothered to divide Harry's attention with the girls. Our hero, however, didn't appear uncomfortable. He just talked to the group or individually, without playing favorites.

The problem started when Harry started to flirt with the girls. Hermione felt great to be the chosen girl for this task, but the only other kid that wasn't bothered by it was Dudley. Astoria looked ready to strangle the brown haired girl and her sister Daphne's eyes filled with unsheathed tears. The more verbal of the group was Emma who was very vocal on her annoyance.

"Harry! What are you doing?! I am your girlfriend. You can't just go and say that other girl is beautiful in front of me! My mom said that a boy can only have one girlfriend and she's not it! I AM!"

'Emma is so cute when she is mad... She is pouting and stomping her little feet...' Harry spent a moment looking at the tallest of the blonde girls. She was flushed of sheer indignation. All the girls were waiting for his answer and the boy could not think exactly on what to say. Tentatively he started talking.

"Hum... I see. Well, are you saying that if I want to flirt with other girls you will stop being my girlfriend?"

It was a low blow. A Harry from a few months ago, a Harry who had a strong sense of morals, wouldn't ever say something like that. He would try to protect the girls feelings, to not abuse the poor girl maxed relationship score. However this Harry was someone who had pushed past his personal sense of duty, his code of honor. His mind was influenced only by his Lecherousness, his Bad-Temper and a Strong Will. This Harry was no longer Impulsive and as such he was planning on the long term, when they would all be older. When his young body would be allowed to act on his lustful thoughts.

"No... I didn't say that... But please. Why can't you be my boyfriend only? I love you Harry... Please love me back..."

The girl went from furious to desperate with a single sentence. After her righteous outburst she went to begging. No adult was apparently paying attention and every kid was wondering exactly what was going on and where this was heading. The only one not too shocked with this development was Dudley. To the blonde boy, what the girls decided didn't really matter. He was Harry's best friend and would continue to be so forever.

"Oh Emma. I love you. I really do. I want to hold you, kiss you and stay with you forever. But I could say the same to Hermione, or to Daphne, or to Astoria. I don't think I'll ever have just one girlfriend. If you can't deal with it... It's alright, we can still be friends. I'll still love you, I'll feel a little heartbreak, that's for sure, but in the end, I'll always respect your wishes. I'll never force you to do something you don't want to..."

It was a strong statement to make, but our hero made it. Or should we now call him a villain? Nevertheless all the girls were wordless for a moment. Harry looked absolutely sincere, his words sounded completely reasonable to all of them. Emma was flabbergasted, she had Harry all to herself for so long that she took him for granted. Astoria was consumed with jealousy and was struggling deeply with the fact that she was not the most important person in the room and that Harry could actually like someone else more than her. Hermione was so shocked with the barbaric concept of having to share her man that her mind went blank. Daphne however didn't even hesitated.

"I'll be with you Harry. I don't care if I'm just one of your girlfriends... If you'll have me, I'll be with you. I'll do anything."

Harry went to the girl and embraced her. He kissed her forehead and closed his eyes while hugging her. The girl on her part just smiled happily, she was where she was supposed to be.

The moment however didn't last long. A voice interrupted the awkward scene.

"Mr. Potter, can we talk a little bit?"

The owner of the voice was Mr. Greengrass. After the boy agreed to talk to him the man led the boy to an adjacent room where both of them seated. The man expression was grave and he did not look particularly comfortable.

"Well Mr. Potter. We must have a serious conversation... I..."

"Harry."

"Pardon me?"

"Call me Harry. You don't need to call me Mr. Potter. You may call me Harry. I'm just a kid, I'm not a mister."

The man looked at the boy for a few seconds, he then shook his head before answering.

"No. To both statements. I cannot in good conscience call you just Harry, and you are not just a kid."

That time it was the boy's turn to stop talking. He was surprised but it didn't show. With a steady voice he asked the blond man.

"How so?"

The man shook in his seat while looking at the young boy. Was he afraid of Harry? With a deep and shaky voice he answered.

"You're not just a boy. You're something else. I don't know what or who you are, but you're not a regular 10 years boy. No matter how precocious, no boy should act like you."

Without words the boy just stared at the man. In his mind he was wondering what to do and how to act. Should he use his talking skills to convince the man that everything was alright? Should he load the game to the beginning of the party and act more childishly? His mind whirled with options while the silence stretched. The man broke it first.

"At first I thought that you were possessed by the dark lord himself. But that could not be. Not with the way you interact with the muggles. Not with the way you chose to conduct business through the old man. I didn't know what to think..."

Deciding that he would see where this was going the boy decided to just remain quiet for a while longer.

"But you're clearly not just a children. I talked with Benjamin and he told me how proud he was of you. How well you learned crafts that man took years to master. How good you were at every endeavor you choose to partake. How you alone created a way to earn huge amounts of wealth by the expenditure of so little magic..."

The man didn't look like he had finished, so Harry waited a little more.

"And then I saw how you talked. How you convinced everyone of your way of thinking. How you behaved like it was the most natural thing in the world to have things go your way... It was just too much. I saw a 10 years old kid seduce my wife right in front of me. Then I watched helplessly while you went and finished seducing my two daughters."

'Okay, when he says like that, that really sounded bad...' The silence stretched a little more but before the boy could finally say something the man continued.

"Then I observed you. You and those around you. I learned how you approached an old lonely man and filled his empty existence with life. He is happy, you know? Mr. Heathcote is joyful for the first time since his wife had died. Tonight he finally got together with the rest of his family, he says that he owns this too you."

"Just by looking at Mundungos and anyone can see his life improving. He is clean and sober. He is working on something that is not illegal and is for the first time thinking on starting a family. He is also earning a lot of money and pretty soon will be able to pay off all his debts. Since you happened I really don't think he'll ever find himself on the same desperate situation again."

"By talking with your uncle I heard that you alone helped him to became vice-president of the firm he work for. He is also at this very moment mingling with the London high society, something that he and his wife had only dream about. All because of you..."

"I really don't know how you affected the Strode's or the Granger's lives but I'm pretty sure that you caused some kind of impact for them."

The man drank a long gulp of his whiskey before continuing.

"When this night started I was terrified of you. I still am. But I can hope, right? I can hope that you will not do us bad. I used magic on my daughters before we arrived. I wanted to listen to your conversation and see if I could discover what are you planning trying to see where this was going. Anything really... Anything that would give me a clue where to go from here..."

The man once again drank from his glass, head lowered incapable of facing the boy right in front of him. With a low voice Harry asked.

"So you heard us. What do you make of it?"

The man sighed heavily before answering.

"I understood that you already took whatever you wanted. You stole my daughters hearts. You have them completely in love with you, and you only met them 4 times. I cannot win. I'm not a brave man, you see? But I consider myself an intelligent and rational man. I don't know who or what you are, but I understand that I cannot fight you. Well, I can fight, but I don't believe I can win. So I decided to go on another course of action..."

Old Harry would scream at what he had done with this man. The old Harry would feel ashamed and guilty of everything that happened. This one just looked curious.

"I propose a deal."

"What kind of deal?"

"It has several parts and it's the best I could think of. Will you consider it?"

The boy answered with a nod.

"Well, first is about money. I'm far from being wealthy. I'm one of the cheapest solicitor's money can buy. I earn so little that I can barely feed my family. Pretty soon I'll have two kids going to Hogwarts and I don't know how I'll make to pay for it... If you could help me with it, maybe I can work for you on the store..."

The boy interrupted him.

"You are a wizard. Just like Dung. I think I can find something for you to do. I can certainly employ you, and your wife, if needed. Also, I'll probably need your legal expertise at some point in the future."

The man was a little less tense. He nodded and continued talking.

"Thank you. That would be really nice. And since you mentioned my wife... Well you... You are aparently not satisfied with my daughters and the other little girls. You want a woman too. I saw how you look at her, how you made her look at you. I could never stop her from doing what she wanted to do before... So what can I do now?"

'Is this man really saying what I think he's saying?' The boy could not avoid being surprised.

"You see, our marriage was an arranged one. The only thing we have in common is our predilection for strong and handsome man. She apparently had a change in tastes and is now actively pursuing you. My problem is that I need an heir. I had 3 daughters and not one male one. I need a boy to carry the Greengrass name. Olga don't want to get pregnant again, but I'm willing to overlook her interaction with you if you can convince her to try again. If both of us work for you we will have more than enough money to raise another kid. My name. My pure-blood name is all I really have. I don't want to my family die with me because I don't have any male heirs. If you can be discreet and convince her to try again having a baby... I... Well... Maybe we can achieve some kind of arrangement?"

Our protagonist was speechless for a while. He just stared at the delicate man in front of him while he considered the proposition. Could he do it? Could he convince Mrs. Greengrass to try again at having a children? Probably. A single fast-talk check would guarantee that she would be willing to try. The question was if Harry was willing to do it for the magical solicitor.

"I'll... I'll try Mr. Greengrass."

"Thank you. That's all I ask for. As long as the kid is my blood it's all I can really ask for..."

The silence stretched a little more while the man gathered the courage for his final request.

"Now, about my daughters..."

"Well Mr. Greengrass, I can assure you..."

"No, let me finish. My daughters are not perfect, I know, but I love them. Daphne can be a little slow sometimes and is distracted a little too easily... Astoria however is smart but very mean spirited. I don't know exactly what you said to them but now Daphne was committed to become a little better. She is studding more and is really making an effort. At the same time Astoria is behaving more and is really trying to be a little nicer to everyone, especially her sister. It's your influence, I know it. As much as it hurts me to say it, in a twisted way you are the one making them better persons."

The man sighed again and tried unsuccessfully to drink another gulp of the empty glass before continuing.

"It's a steep price you ask. You claiming both of them for your little harem... You are grooming them and I'm helpless to stop you. But please... I ask of you... No, that's not right: I BEG of you... Please don't hurt them. I don't know what are you planning to do with these girls. With those kids. But please, please don't hurt them."

Harry stared at the blue eyes in front of him for a long time.

"I won't."

The man relaxed on his chair and covered his face while sighting.

"I believe you. Besides everything I observed I still like you and want to trust you. So I'll be at your side. I'll be your ally. I just hope that when the time comes you'll help me and my family."

Harry nodded.

"I will."

Final Notes:

Here you have it, chapter 14! I know, it took me a long time, but in my defense this chapter did not want to be written. So many things happened to hamper it that I could not even begin to enumerate it.

In my defense all I can say is that this chapter is the longest to date. It's more than 12k words of text, without notes or the character sheet. So that is about 2 or 3 chapters in one. It's not a justification but I really hope that other chapters don't take as long as this one.

Also, during this time I started writing two different fics. Both are HP crossovers, one is with Walking Dead and the other is with Game of Thrones. No more game fics, the mathematics would claim what is left of my sanity. Let me know if there is an interest on the genre, if you are someone who deeply knowledge of the zombie TV show or the ASOIAF books and want to collaborate on these new fics, let me know.

That said, let's discuss a little of the chapter. First let me say that our hero may appears to be an amoral bastard. Well, he is currently is one. He just paid in character point to have his inconvenient strong moral values removed. I'll let the interpretation of this to you readers, but I'll make it clear that this is not a Dark Harry fic. He is just a little on the amoral side... Even if he IS a pervert.

Also, if you expected a bigger description of Harry doing some shopping I'm sorry to disappoint you. That has been done so many times that I lost all the interesting on describing it. You can imagine that he bought all that magical crap that you already know about plus a really interesting pair of glasses! Surely some fics had them, but I never see Harry actually uses them for anything... That said, Harry will use the glasses, the rest is not so important at the moment.

That said, I really don't see Harry spending points to buy Bad-sight back. If he has an awesome magical glass that completely neutralize his disadvantage why would he? I'm willing to listen to your reasons guys, but please make a good case why he should do it.

Another thing, on this chapter I did a change on perspective. I used Astoria to present another point of view to what was happening. I thought it was interesting but I can't be sure that it was okay. If you guys didn't like it, please let me know. I plan to give some of other characters their own point of view sometime in the future if we have no complains this time.

As for the Harem comments. Well, it's much more like a cult of obsessed girls than a Harem. It's not like the girls don't have personalities and are all okay with "sharing" Harry. They are just equally obsessed about him and all want his undivided attention. They will surely act differently about it.

That said, please review. Even if you're going to say that I completely destroyed the Hero that we all love. It's a feedback at least.

Cheers!
