"AAAAHHHHHHH!" I woke up with a start.

I was panting like crazy and my hand was clammy with sweat. Wiping my sweat coated hands on my sweatshirt, I looked around the room and the first thing I saw was... well, everyone.

Wanting to say something, Syo spoke first. "What was with the scene you made earlier?! You made us all worry!"

"G-gomen..." I quietly said.

"Daiki-Chan... who are you exactly?" Natsuki asked me with the same worried look everyone was carrying on their faces.

Staying seated on the coach I was on, I looked up to all of them then back down to the ground. "My name is Sasaki Somiko... but I think all of you would know me better as Aroe Daiki," I then finished with a lower tone then chocked a bit. "N-no! That's not what I wanted to say!"

Straining with how I was talking or even thinking for that matter, I took a deep breath and tried again. "H-have you guys heard of the name 'Aroe Somiko'?"

Six pairs of eyes then widened in shock when they heard that name. Haruka looked at the rest of us in confusion but didn't say anything.

"You mean to claim you're Aroe Somiko?" Masato then asked which I replied with a simple nod.

"How can we be sure that you aren't lying? How are we sure that you're even a girl?" Ren eyed me with a look that clearly means he knows it's true but doesn't want to believe it actually is.

"I can..." I mumbled.

"How?" Otoya asked, not believing any of this.

Darting my eyes over to everyone, I then looked over to Haruka. "I can prove that I'm a girl. First off, all six of you guys must leave. EXCEPT for Haruka." I said, not minding that my tone lowered nearing the end of my sentence.

Hesitantly, all six of them left the room and was left with only Haruka.

"Daiki-Kun..."

"Please, call me Somiko. If you say that male name, it might trigger him to come out and take over my body," I said carefully, careful not to get too excited that might result for me to change tones once again.

She nodded and walked over to me and looked down. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, Haruka-Chan," I said with a small smile. "I just need you to check something for me, okay?"

Clueless, she nodded once more.

Haruka went out of the room quietly and I was able to hear her talking but it was muffled a bit. What was really audible that even I can hear it was the dramatic gasps and loud footsteps. A second later, they all came back into the room with a stumble, their eyes bulging.

"Surprise," I said weakly with jazz hands.

"O-Onee-Chan?" Otoya was the first to speak, crouching down to my level and looking me in the eyes.

"Hai. I'm back." I replied and gave a beaming smile to him.

"Onee-Chan!" he said a bit more confident now and hugged me tightly. "I thought you would never come back..."

He let me go and I smiled again at him.

Tokiya examined me and I sighed before saying two words that made him take a step back."Amazing Grace."

Smiling a bit at his reaction, I took a couple of deep breaths to calm myself down.

Natsuki crouched down to my level and cupped my face with both his hands, his eyes wide and innocent, studying my visage. "Mimi-Chan, is it really you?"

Seeing such an innocent face made me tear up a bit and chock out, "Yes, Natsuki, it's me."

He then gave me one of his warm embraces which made me return it. We stayed like that for some time before Syo pried him off of me. Seeing Syo, I began to say, "Syo, I'm rea-"

"Cut it out."

"Huh?"

"You're really Mimi, huh?" he asked, one hand on his hip.

"Y-yeah..."

"Why didn't you tell us right off the bat!"

"I... I couldn't... I was under hypnosis... I didn't even know I was Somiko..." I admitted and looked down in defeat.

"Well, I forgive you," he then said and patted my head. "I get to meet you again. Guess wishes do come true." then he immediately turned red. "No way, that means I just told you that I actually..." he was then kept on mumbling something that even I couldn't comprehend and walked away.

Tilting my head in confusion of his strange actions, Masato then appeared in front of me. "It's a surprise to meet you again, Somiko-San."

"Ah," I started. "It's Miko-CHAN. Miko-Chan," I stretched out which made him blush a bit.

"Right. Sumen, Miko-Chan."

Before an awkward silence can take place, Ren cooly scoffed. "A stiff even in front of Miko? It's a surprise she even takes a glance at you."

At that, Masato shot a glare at him but took a step back, allowing Ren to be in front of me.

"Miko, even if it's been more than six years we've seen each other, we still found each other once again. It must be destiny," he said with a wink.

I giggled at that. "Actually, if you're going to say it like that, I met Otoya-Kun first."

"Oh?" the orange head said and turned to the red head. "Guess you're not as innocent as you look."

"Huh?" Otoya innocently let out which made me giggle a bit more.

"Wait a minute..." Syo started. "How do you guys now Mimi? And what's with all those names like Miko-Chan or... Otoya! What did you mean by 'Onee-Chan'?!"

"She was and still is an Onee-Chan in my eyes," Otoya said with a grin.

"Before I met you Syo, I met Otoya in some circumstances and our relationship grew until we were practically like siblings but not by blood. That was when my father just got out of jail and had to work his way from the bottom again. That's one of the reasons why I entered the violin competitions is to win some money and for the love of playing it of course," I explained carefully. "That's when I had to move when my father got upgraded and that's how I met Ren-Kun and Masato-Kun before I moved out of Japan. When we first arrived BACK here, I was visiting my cousin where I met Ichinose-Kun."

"Apparently, I originally could attend Saotome Academy if I dressed up as a male but I denied it. Someone very close to me then hypnotized me into thinking I was someone who I wasn't and all in all... I don't know whether I can thank the person or hate him for doing this to me... Being able to meet all of you again is a miracle and knowing how you guys progressed in life and matured is amazing. But meeting you all again without any of you actually knowing who I was... broke my heart the moment the hypnosis wore off," I finished, a couple of tears forming in my eyes.

A peaceful silence fell upon us when they were all processing what I just said. I took a quick glance at Natsuki and he seemed to have all the same expression as everyone else. Seems like he forgot what happened when we first met together. I couldn't blame him. Satsuki must've collected all those thoughts of him that day and stored it deep in his mind.

"Now that this is all solved," Natsuki called out causing me to jump up a bit from my seat but then I remembered something even more important in our plate for the time being.

"Let's go to the headmaster and see what's really up," I nodded in confirmation, wiping the little tears I had out of my eyes. I personally really want to know if 'STARSISH' was for real or not.

"Headmaster! What does this mean?!" Otoya exclaimed when all of us were now at Shining's office. Shining himself was sitting on his office chair, his back facing us.

"We're going to get a debut...?" Natsuki asked.

"But we haven't even had the graduation audition yet..." Syo said which made me nod.

"Audition?" Shining repeated then laughed. "You guys pass."

"What?" I asked.

"The first time I heard your song... 'This group can heat up the country!' That's how I felt," he confessed which made all of us look at him in disbelief almost. "When inspiration hits me, it's never off-base. I didn't count on the plan being moved up this soon... but that often happens in this business." he then swiveled his chair around and pointed his index finger at Ichinose which made him a bit surprised. "It's not a problem at all!"

"Right now, Mr. Ichinose is drawing a lot of attention..." he then got out of his seat, twirled around and pointed to us all now "..making this your very big chance! There's no way I'm letting this opportunity slip by," Shining then ending it off with a side smirk.

"We're going to... debut?!" Otoya exclaimed excitingly.

"I don't believe it, but I'm totally psyched!" Syo said.

Natsuki nodded. "Yeah!"

My heart was racing so fast that I was afraid if I spoke, my voice might change.

"With all seven of us, I'm sure it'll go well," Masato confirmed.

"Yeah!" Syo agreed.

"Plus Nanami," Ren added, putting both his hands on the girls shoulders with a wink. My mouth made a gap a bit. It was the first time I've heard him refer Haruka as nothing else but 'My lady' or 'Little lamb'.

"Eight, including you, Haruka-Chan," I said with a gentle smile.

The girl looked at us in surprise. "I-I'll..." she then smiled brightly and bowed deeply. "I'll try my best! I'll write even better songs! I'll pump them out!"

"And I'll work even harder too!" I said in a light voice, trying not to excite my heart too much.

"Sorry," the headmaster then said in English which made us turn heads at his serious tone. "Miss Nanami and Miss Sasaki..."

"Yes?"

"You two cannot participate in this project."

All of us made sounds and that clearly said that we couldn't believe what we were hearing.

"N-Nani?" I asked in a whisper.

"First off... Miss Sasaki, you have talent, yes. BUT, your voice seems so unstable that I doubt you can sing without changing tones."

"Wait a second!" Syo yelled.

"T-That not true! I can do it!" I shouted, but took a step back when I noticed that my voice just changed tones seven times within those two tiny sentences. Indeed, how CAN I sing in this condition?

"We'll work something out!" Otoya exclaimed.

Shining then wagged a finger up in disapproval. "Tch tch tch tch. This is not how the media business goes. Without any complications, STARSISH can rise to the top even faster! Besides... I have already received a phone call from your father that you are to be sent back home."

My eyes were so wide that in that point, everything I saw was just one big massive blur. I... won't be able to sing with everyone? How could this happen? Everyone seemed to lay all their eyes on me, sadness washing over them. I didn't dare pry my eyes away from the ground. I know I can't fight against it anymore. I have to follow my father's orders and... go back to Canada where I'll learn and eventually become the president of my family's business, leaving any thought of having a music career behind.

"Somiko-Chan..." Haruka quietly said.

"As for Miss Nanami... For the songs of their debut concert, we're gonna go-go-go-go with a pro tunesmith!"

As Shining then walked a few feet, Otoya then said, "What do you mean, Headmaster?!"

A screen then was presented behind us and we turned to it, a projector emitting an image on the screen of a man who seemed quite familiar in my eyes.

"Who is it?" asked Syo.

Ichinose then made a sound of recognition and turned to Shining. "Headmaster! Don't tell me it's..."

"That's right! The million-hit songster who's won a mad number of awards... The melodies who's writing the most powerful music in Japan right now... And I've asked him to write your debut song!"

"N-No way..." Otoya said, looking at me in worry as if me not being allowed to sing with them is the worst case but having another one to leave must be too much for him.

"No! You can't do that!" I cried out, my voice completely back to Daiki's. "You can take me out but let Haruka stay! She's important to the group!"

The man just laughed. "This man is called the 'God of Composition'. If we leave it to him, there's no doubt we'll have a huge hit on our hands!"

"'The God of Composition'..." Haruka silently repeated.

"So what?!" Syo yelled.

"The key to success for this project is intense impact. Miss Nanami, certainly, you possess interesting talent and character. And precisely because I sensed that, I've been going easy on you all this time. Such as when you took the entrance examination..."

"T-that can't be true..." I said, a bit horrified if that was true.

"Still, your efforts have led to positive results, more than I expected. But! This is a different story! Miss Nanami, can you write a song that surpasses the God of Composition?"

"A-Ano... I..."

No, this can't be happening. I will NOT let Shining take away Haruka from this group. I know I can't sing with them. I know it. But Haruka has no excuse. She needs to stay in this group. No matter what.
