Welcome to Chapter 12 of Harry Cora Mills. I know it's been beyond forever since I updated and I apologize. However I'm going to try updating my stories in a schedule and certain order as such:

First priority: Souverain De Magique (This is because my brain's stuck on this)

Second priority: Death's Chosen Childe

Third priority: Harry Cora Mills

Fourth priority: Hari No Jinchuriki

Fifth priority: Rise of the Snake King's Court

Sixth priority: Dawn of the Wizard Inquisitor (Because I play the game while I type the story)

Secondly I have to add that I don't purposely bash Dumbledore because I hate him. I do it because the story I write ends up like that because of what I'm reading that day. Every time I started a new story I had been reading a story where Dumbledore has been bashed. Also please add more stuff to your reviews! I really want your opinions! The chapters in HCM are going to start speeding up as the slow day by day chapters are what makes writing these stories a bit boring, in fact this chapter's going to reach the end of the year. ONWARDS TO THE STORY.

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or Once Upon A Time at all.

Harry Cora Mills Chapter 12

The aftermath following the exorcism of Professor Binns was a bit hectic to say the least. On one side all of the students practically now worshiped the quartet. On the other side Dumbledore and some of the teachers would continuously give disappointed looks towards them. Harry quite vividly remembers the conversation that came after Binns was exorcised.

"Come in." a voice said from behind the door.

Harry opened the door and walked through, making sure to close the door behind him. He was met with the sight of Dumbledore along with Flitwick, his Head of House.

"Harry my boy have a seat." Dumbledore said with that annoying twinkle in his eye.

"I'd much rather stand Professor." Harry said, not moving an inch, just in case Dumbledore tried something.

"Very well. What in the world prompted you to get rid of one of our best teachers?" Dumbledore said, Flitwick trying to hide a snort at that statement.

"One of your best? Then you must have some god awful teachers. Every single student here in this school along with any alumni who've had Binns teach them will agree that Binns was an awful teacher." Harry responded.

"I do have to agree Albus. Cuthbert was a horrible teacher in fact none of my Claws were able to stay awake in his classes." Flitwick said.

"Nonetheless there must be a punishment for this." Dumbledore said.

After that Harry ended up with detention for the next two weeks with Snape. Which to Harry wasn't that bad as Snape wouldn't treat him badly during the detentions. The person they had come in as the new History of Magic teacher was something of a legend. They ended up having Bathilda Bagshot herself as a teacher, the very woman who wrote their books. The woman was a brilliant teacher as she spun and told the stories as if she was there herself. History of Magic had gone from a subject where nobody could stay awake to a subject where nobody could get enough of it. Harry and the gang were a bit wary of her mostly because she was rumored to be an old friend of Dumbledore. However it turned out that woman was on their side, having said that Dumbledore had changed in the past decade.

About mid-February Harry had decided to introduce everyone to the Founder's rooms, well the ones that he had located. All three of them were amazed by the rooms and even more amazed to meet the Founders. Hermione herself was obsessed with Rowena Ravenclaw's Library, unable to get enough of the books. Draco preferred Salazar's labs as he was quite obsessed with Potions. Blaise and Harry however loved Helga's Underground World as it brought a sense of peace to both of them. It was a wonderful place where they could relax and unwind from the stress of everyday life, not that they had much stress to begin with. Plus they loved learning from the various magical creatures that lived in that place.

As it had become March Harry had decided that it was finally time to start brewing the potions in Salazar's lab. The hardest of them all was not going to be the Memory Curse Cure potion but the Felix Felicis potion. Normally Felix Felicis took six months to stew before it could be consumed. However thanks to a book in Rowena's library along with some instructions from Rowena herself they could cut it down to three months which meant that it would be done by the time that they got out of school. The brewing process was simple enough but they had to make sure they didn't make any mistakes as a wrongly brewed Felix Felicis had disastrous consequences. Harry and Blaise worked on the Felix Felicis while Hermione and Draco worked on the Memory Curse Cure potion. When they finished they all agreed that they would take turns coming back to the lab to watch over the potions.

When it became the end of April Harry heard on the grapevine that Hagrid's hut had caught on fire because of a dragon egg he hatched. Thankfully the hut wasn't destroyed, just a bit charred. Also around the end of April Hermione had become frantic with studying, wanting to pass the end of year exams. That crisis was quickly averted with the assistance of one of the older Ravenclaws, Cho Chang. Cho had explained to Hermione that the exams don't get difficult until your O.W.L and N.E.W.T. years. That had calmed down Hermione a lot.

The month of May wasn't much of an issue. Come the end of the month and the beginning of June it was time for their end of year exams. Their first exam was their Charms exam which was simple enough. The written exam covered the various charms they had learned this year along with it asking what would happen with each charm if one was casted wrong. For example, Wingardium Leviosa if pronounced with an f rather than an s surprisingly turns into conjuration and you end up with a buffalo falling on top of you. The practical portion of the exam required the students to prove their mastery of the Tap-Dancing Charm on a pineapple. Following their Charms exam was their Transfiguration exam which like Charms had a written and a practical portion. The written portion covered the basic laws of Transfiguration and what was required to transfigure an item into another. The practical covered transfiguring a mouse into a snuffbox which was easy enough. After that was their Potions exam which was purely practical this year. Snape with his odd humor had them brew a Forgetfulness Potion from memory. They then had the rest of the day off.

The next day was their History of Magic exam. Bathilda had made it a lot more interesting than the other ones by turning it into a memory game. Basically what they had to do was individually go into the room and match photos of famous people to either their quotes or their deeds. However some of the deeds were missing key words and they had to fill in the blank. This ended up making the History of Magic exam their favorite. After that was Herbology which was a simple practical exam of taking care of a plant. Lastly was Defense Against the Dark Arts which was a joke if you asked Harry.

Quirrel basically just gave them a written exam, which was entirely on vampires, and then asked them to practice the Flippendo the Knockback Jinx. However it was afterwards that the gang was suspicious of Quirrel. As they were leaving they heard Quirrel muttering about something. It sounded as if he was muttering about stealing something for his master on the third floor. After he muttered that there was a hissing sound that sounded specifically like "Shut up you imbecile!" They decided to follow him and sure enough Quirrel led them to the Third Floor corridor. They had to make a decision right then and there: to go after Quirrel or get a teacher. They smartly chose the latter and went to go find their Head of House, Professor Flitwick.

It took them a couple minutes to find Flitwick thanks to Hermione who had learned the Point Me Charm as soon as possible so she could find people when she needed. Flitwick was in his office grading their exams when they came in.

"What do you four need?" Flitwick asked as he was grading the exams.

"Professor! Quirrel went after whatever's hidden in the third floor! He said something about stealing it for his master!" Draco blurted out.

Instantly Flitwick was standing.

"What?! Are you serious?!" Flitwick shouted

"Yes! We followed him to the third floor corridor and he went in." Blaise said.

"Agh. Albus isn't here at all, he was called to the Ministry for something. I guess I'll have to go. You guys, normally I'd have you stay here but I don't feel right leaving you here." Flitwick said.

With that being said the gang and Flitwick took off towards the Third Floor corridor. When they arrived Flitwick gasped in shock as he stared at the sleeping Cerberus that was now in front of them and the Harp that was playing in the corner.

"Damnit! He already got past the first trap! Why Hagrid chose a creature that can easily be defeated with music I will never know." Flitwick cursed.

"Traps?" Harry asked.

"Yeah. Minerva, Quirrel, Albus, Hagrid, Pomona and I all created traps to deter anyone trying to steal the item being kept, which I guess it doesn't matter anymore but it's the Philosopher's Stone." Flitwick said

"The Philosopher's Stone? Isn't that the stone created by Nicolas Flamel that grants immortality to anyone who drinks it?" Hermione asked.

"Yes that exact stone. Nicolas used to teach Albus so he had asked him to hide his stone for him. Of course I don't think Flamel had this in mind when he asked him to hide it. Seriously though in a school full of kids?" Flitwick said, muttering the last bit.

Suddenly when they approached the Cerberus the harp stopped playing, which prompted the Cerberus to wake up. Suddenly it was glaring at the five people in front of it.

"Crap, quick do something!" Blaise shouted.

"Alright! I'll see what I can do." Harry said, forgetting that Flitwick was with them.

Harry gestured his hand towards the harp and a cloud of green smoke came out and enveloped the harp. Suddenly the harp started playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. This in turn caused the Cerberus to start nodding off. Seeing this Draco and Blaise pushed the three headed dog and caused it to fall asleep to the left of the trapdoor.

"That was quick thinking. If we weren't in a hurry I'd give Ravenclaw thirty points." Flitwick said as he walked towards the trapdoor and opened it.

"Next trap is Pomona's, which is a Devils Snare." Flitwick said.

"Devil's Snare, why would Professor Sprout choose that as a trap? A lot of people know about it." Draco said.

"That is true but the way to deal with it isn't really known because of the fact that many forget it after leaving Hogwarts or their school of choice. Thus it's a perfect trap because it's one of those things people really don't consider." Flitwick explained.

After explaining Flitwick jumped down and the quartet followed him in suit. When they landed they landed on something squishy and bouncy, figuring it to be the Devil's Snare. Promptly Flitwick took out his wand and casted the Bluebell Fire Charm which instantly caused the Devil's Snare to recoil away from the fire which resulted in the five of them falling to the ground. They all brushed themselves off and then headed forward.

"Whose trap is next?" Blaise asked.

"It's Minerva's, not that you would know it by looking at it. You see, for her trap she transfigured wings onto keys and made them fly. You have to catch them while flying on a broom, basically like a Seeker in Quidditch. See, Minerva is a huge Quidditch fanatic, in fact when she was in Hogwarts she was a major player in her House's Quidditch Team as the Seeker." Flitwick said.

"Really? Professor McGonagall played Quidditch? She doesn't seem the type." Harry commented.

"Oh trust me she is. Had you been in Gryffindor she would had made sure you tried out in Second Year, considering that your father was a great Chaser." Flitwick said.

Soon enough they came into the room that held Professor McGonagall's trap. It was a simple circular room with a pillar in the middle and a door at the other end. In the air were about twelve different keys that were flying around each with wings that seemed to be as big as the wings of pigeon. On the walls of the pillar were five brooms, all of them seeming to be the brand new broom that just came out, the Nimbus 2100. Of course the quintet had to decide who was going to fly for the key. Harry decided to volunteer.

"You're going to be looking for the Silver Key. It should be the one with the damaged wings if Quirrel had already came through here. Be warned though, once you grab it the other keys will chase after you" Flitwick said.

"Alright." Harry said.

Harry took a hold of the broom and mounted it. From there he took off into the air, taking to flying like a bird in the air. He immediately went after the keys, perusing them for the silver key. Soon enough he spotted a silver key that had damaged wings that looked as if it was roughly grabbed. He flew after it and promptly grabbed it out of the air. Right after that the other keys immediately changed their flight direction towards Harry and started flying at him. He quickly flew to the ground and jumped off the broom and ran towards the door.

"Come on guys! I don't feel like being impaled by keys today!" Harry said as he put the key in the door and unlocked it.

They all rushed through the door and shut it behind them. As soon as they did this there was a thud behind them indicating that the keys had lodged into the door.

They proceed forward and soon enough met with what looked like a gigantic chessboard.

"I'm assuming this is yours Professor?" Blaise asked.

"Yup, I'm a huge fan of Wizard's Chess. Most people would assume this is Minerva's but no. Basically I used the Enlargement Charm along with some Parameter Charms on the chessboard to make it so that nobody could just walk across without having to play. Thankfully I charmed it so that I myself could get through it in four to five moves without losing anyone who has to play as chess pieces." Flitwick said.

Flitwick then instructed them to take places on the board so that they could begin. He had Harry as the King, Blaise as the Bishop, Hermione as the Knight, Draco as a Pawn, and he himself played the Rook. Just as Flitwick said it took him only five moves to win the game, brutally defeating the other side. Draco, who was a fan of chess as well realized what maneuver the Professor was doing.

"Professor! Was that the Scholar's Mate?" Draco said excitedly.

"You recognize it? Yes it was, it's one of my favorite ways to ensure a quick checkmate." Flitwick said.

From there they headed to the door and walked through. However as soon as they got through the door they smelled a horrible, rotting smell that permeated the hallway. Out of all of them the only ones who seemed to recognize the smell were Harry and Hermione.

"What's that smell?" Blaise said, gagging a little.

"You should recognize it, it's a troll. The troll was Quirrel's defense because he can speak Troll and is able to convince them to do things. That's one of the reasons we were confused that he ran away when the troll was in the school." Flitwick said.

They proceeded onwards and soon enough ran into an unconscious troll on the floor.

"It seems like Quirrel was already through here, I'm surprised he didn't kill the troll." Flitwick said.

"I guess he did it so just in case anyone decided to follow him he hoped the troll would wake up and attack them." Hermione added.

They continued on and soon came to a room with a table in the middle and seven unmarked bottles on it. As soon as they got through to the room though both exits were blocked by flames.

"Now we have to solve the riddle that Severus put for this one." Flitwick said.

"It's a logic puzzle?! That's great, most wizards don't have a lick of logic in their brain! But wait why did he not just put poison in all of the bottles to prevent anyone from stealing it?" Hermione asked.

"Because, the fire behind us and in front of us are impossible to get through without the potion. Normally one could get through fire with the Flame Freezing Charm but these flames are made to get through that charm. Thus we needed a way to get through. Severus decided to put up a riddle because it'd piss off anyone trying to steal the stone because of having to try to decipher it." Flitwick explained.

That did make sense, if they didn't have a way through then it'd be impossible to retrieve the stone. Thus they needed a way through. Blaise had volunteered to read the riddle out loud so they could solve it together.

"Danger lies before you, while safety lies behind,

Two of us will help you, whichever you would find,

One among us seven will let you move ahead,

Another will transport the drinker back instead,

Two among our number hold only nettle-wine,

Three of us are killers, waiting hidden in line

Choose, unless you wish to stay here forevermore

To help you in your choice, we give you these clues four:

First, however slyly the poison tries to hide

You will always find some on nettle wine's left side

Second, different are those who stand at either end

But if you would move onward, neither is your friend;

Third as you see clearly, all are different size

Neither dwarf nor giant hold death in their insides;

Fourth, the second left and the second on the right

Are twins once you taste them, though different at first sight."

After Blaise finished the five of them began to contemplate the riddle. As Hermione was doing the riddle she figured that there were many possibilities. However as she progressed through the clears she managed to narrow down the possibilities. Soon enough she solved the puzzle and grabbed the fourth bottle. However, the fourth bottle was the smallest bottle.

"This is it, but wait there's only enough for one person." Hermione said.

"Ah, not really. I'm going to cast a Refilling Charm on it." Flitwick said.

"How does a refilling charm work?" Blaise asked, curious.

"What it does is it takes the small amount that's left on the inside of the bottle and multiplies it till it refills the bottle. This charm only works on liquids sadly enough." Flitwick said, casting the charm on the bottle.

With that done they each took drinks from the bottle and then proceeded to walk through the flames. When they made it through the flames and down the stairs they were met with a giant room that held a mirror in the middle of the room. Standing at the mirror was Quirrel who seemed quite frustrated with the mirror.

"UGH! Why won't you give me the stone!?" Quirrel raged at the mirror.

"Stop it right there Quirrel!" Flitwick shouted.

Instantly Quirrel turned around and glared at them.

"If it isn't Filius Flitwick and his Copper Quartet." Quirrel sneered.

"We're here to stop you." Harry said.

"Ha! Stop me? Not while I have my Master's support!" Quirrel shouted.

"Let me see them." A voice hissed.

"No master! You're not strong enough." Cried Quirrel.

"Do it!" the voice ordered

Quirrel turned around and started to unwrap the turban. When he was finished it revealed a hideous disfigured face on the back of his head.

"Voldemort?!" Flitwick shouted.

"Yessss. Do you sssseee what you have done to me Harry Potter? I have but a ssshade in the body of this pathetic man. For eleven yearsss I have been wandering as thissss ghossst " The newly identified Voldemort hissed.

Flitwick took no time, not wanting Quirrel to be able to fight back and casted Diffindo. The light charged towards Quirrel who dodged quickly but the spell managed to slice a cut into his side. Quirrel, in a rage, did something real stupid; He charged forward. It was in a split second that Harry jumped in front of Quirrel who instead of grabbing Flitwick grabbed Harry. The effect was instantaneous as suddenly Quirrel started to burn and scream. Harry found that it was his touch that harmed Quirrel so he placed his hands on Quirrel causing him more pain. Soon Quirrel turned completely to ash. From the ashes a grey spirit-like being rose, which Harry quickly identified as Voldemort. It flew towards him so in a panic Harry waved his hand and black flames that emanated death attacked Voldemort who shrieked and flew away. Harry then collapsed to the ground, exhausted, and passed out.

When Harry came to he was in the Hospital Wing. He looked around and saw Blaise sleeping in a chair by his bed.

"He sat here all night and day waiting for you to wake up, Madame Pomfrey couldn't get him out of here because he refused to move." Flitwick said.

"What happened?" Harry asked.

"You passed out because in your panic you used all of your magic at once to create those flames." Flitwick explained.

"The stone?" Harry asked.

"Albus wanted to destroy it but I said that it should be the Flamels' decision on whether or not to destroy it. He reluctantly agreed to it." Flitwick said.

"Ah, so what did Dumbledore think of our little adventure?" Harry asked in a snarky voice.

"Surprisingly he was okay with it. Apparently the call from the Ministry was a ruse from Quirrel who used one of his unknown contacts in the Ministry to call for Albus. Anyways, I'll leave you here alone with Mr. Zabini, he seems to be waking up." Flitwick said, heading out.

Sure enough Blaise woke up and his eyes widened when he saw that Harry was awake. He immediately hugged Harry.

"You're awake! I wasn't sure what I would do if you hadn't woke up." Blaise said.

"Blaise, it was just magical exhaustion." Harry said, blushing.

"Still!" Blaise said.

Harry and Blaise caught up, explaining that he was the only one that stayed there as he managed to talk Hermione and Draco to go to sleep in their dorm. However soon enough Harry was sleepy once again, probably because it was night time, and slowly fell back asleep. What he didn't know, but Madame Pomfrey did who also took pictures, is that he fell asleep tangled together with Blaise.

There we go! I'm all done! Now like I said, I'm hoping to update once a month as next month I'll be doing my Fall Semester which I'm taking Calculus 1, Human Sexuality, Psychology, and Forensic Anthropology. Hopefully you enjoyed this Chapter! I may or may not update Hari No Jinchuriki, Rise of the Snake Court is a little iffy and Dawn of the Wizard Inquisitor is a bit difficult because I have to play the game to do it cause I make sure all the lines are right. ANYWAYS REVIEW PLEASE!
