A/N: Helloo everyone! I'm sorry I've kind of neglected this story. I actually wanted to pick it up a few months ago, but I literally did not have time. I just wanted to say, going forward, any previous history you know about characters in the slenderman universe, I am most likely going to give them completely different backgrounds and even abilities. This is mainly because when I started this story I had certain things in mind and knew almost no background of any slenderman characters, but I wanted to try and incorporate some. So, sorry if you don't like my changes!
I stood there, dumbfounded, my brain unsuccessfully trying to process anything that was going on. I eventually decided to go back into the bathroom to wrap up my arm. It wasn't bad, only deep enough to draw a very small amount of blood, but I wrapped it up anyway. I looked at myself in the mirror, examining the small mark on my neck before shivering unconsciously. I lightly brushed my finger against it and winced, flashes of my nightmare popping in my mind. I gripped my head as it began to throb, sliding down onto the bathroom floor. So much information had been dumped on me that I didn't know what to do with it all. I placed my head in my hands as the pounding increased greatly, my vision beginning to swim.
"Come now, I'm just a little tired, surely I can come to the market with you."
I lifted my head at the familiar voice, and saw Sedrick standing in front of me, his blue eyes shining with laughter.
"No no, I won't be gone long, you'll barely realize I'm gone." Sedrick said as he smiled and kissed me, my mouth kissing him back and smiling.
He was wearing kaki-like pants with a button down white shirt tucked in, as well as a bright red tie.
"Fine, but don't doddle, it'll be dark soon." Words came out of my mouth without me making them.
Sedrick smiled again and hugged me, cupping my face in his hands, "I will be quick, I promise."
I nodded and he be pecked my cheek before leaving the small room. I sighed and walked over to the window, sitting down on a chair beside it. The sun was already beginning to set, a few stars visible from my window.
I'm having another memory, I thought to my real self. It's like I'm stuck in this body, but can't do anything except think.
My hand came up to rest on my stomach and I smiled, "Guess what little one? Your father's going to learn about you tonight." I smiled more, "He thinks I just want to celebrate our anniversary, however-"
Movement caught my attention and my eyes moved to multiple figures across the street, who seemed very interested in staring my way. A chill went up my spine as I stood up and shut and locked the window. I rubbed my arms and double checked that our room door was locked as well. I went and sat on the edge of our bed, no longer in a happy mood. I still felt as if I was being watched, my eyes flicking to the window, relief washing over me when I no longer saw the figures standing there.
Suddenly, the temperature in our room seemed to drop significantly as bumps formed all over my skin. The feeling of being watched intensified as my heart began to race, and that's when I saw him. A gorgeous man stood with his back against the wall, facing my way. He wore an open black jacket, dress pants, and a black hat. A gasp escaped me when I realized he had no face, only a mouth.
S-Sedrick?
The man's head tilted towards me and a smile spread across his face as he looked me up and down.
"Hello there, Miss." The man said, strolling over to bend forward, handing me a rose.
He isn't right he isn't right he isn't-
My arm shook as it reached up to take the rose before looking back up at the stranger.
"Who-"
"Ah yes, where are my manners?" the man said before bowing low to me, looking up to flash me a dazzling smile. "Humans have given me many names over time, but you may call me Eris."
Before I could respond the man reached forward to stroke the side of my face lightly. I wanted to recoil, but I sat there, letting him touch me.
"Hmm, what a pity. You are very easy on the eyes." Eris said.
I knew where this was headed. I tried screaming at myself to run, to flea somewhere, anywhere. But I couldn't. The past me didn't know I was there.
Suddenly my body was thrown back onto the bed, tied down by dark, slithering tentacles. I began screaming, but was instantly muffled by an appendage wrapping over my mouth. I could feel myself begin to panic as two unknown figures came into the room, knives in hand.
"Now, you may be wondering to yourself why am I doing this." Eris said, a look of pity on his face, "To put it simply, I am a curse, passed down through your husbands' line because of something his ancestor did." He shrugged, the two figures beginning to come towards me, "And when you two ran off, his father inadvertently sent me to his son."
The larger of the two figures began to press his knife down over my chest, dragging it down slowly. I tried to scream, but the tentacle effectively kept me quiet. Tears fell down the sides of my face as the knife burned my skin.
"Like I said, it's a pity I have to do this, you are very beautiful." Eris said before he disappeared.
A loud scream ripped itself from my throat as I jumped to my feet, pressing myself against the bathroom wall. My breathing came out in short bursts, the feeling of the knife still hovering on my skin. I wrapped my arms around myself as tears fell quickly down my face, my body shaking. I walked out of the bathroom and looked over to see Sedrick standing in the doorway, a look of worry on his face.
"I-I heard you screaming. I had to see…" he trailed off, awkwardly alternating which foot he stood on.
He made no moves towards me, although he looked like he wanted to.
I shook my head, legs still shaking as I wiped my face, "Just another… another memory." I said, looking down.
His eyes widened as he took a step towards me, before thinking better of it and staying in the doorway. "Which one?" he asked.
"The first one." I said, not wanting to explain it.
"The first? You mean…" Sedrick's face turned pale as he realized what I must have went through.
I looked over at him, pain and sadness filling my eyes, "I-…I don't want to die again." I muttered, a sob escaping my throat.
He quickly made his way over to me and wrapped his arms around me tightly, "I know, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He muttered to me, holding me closer. "I'll figure something out. This time's different, you're remembering. There has to be a reason."
I tried to let his words make me feel better, but I just stood there, letting him try and comfort me. My eyes wandered to the mirror behind Sedrick, and my heart sank as two black eyes stared back at me, a large smile underneath them.
