People get hung up on words. Whether good, bad or indifferent they mean more to some people than the world.

Some, however, are different. Spoken words are few and far between. Actions take over, acts of love, rage or passion. They're all that matter to some.

When you're with a man who speaks through actions you become an expert at body language. The slight curve of a lip, the narrowing of a golden eye. Or the raw power they unleash every night leaving you unable to move for hours on end. You learn to read it all.

You know that if his shoulders are back after coming in from work he's stressed. A meeting dragging out too long; or a new business partner offering another marriage proposal to 'strengthen their bond'.

And you'll be the one he takes it out on.

You'll be the one he unleashes all his anger and frustration on. And, protest as you may, you'll love it. You'll lie on your back and accept every ounce of his anger. If only to see him content afterwards. Momentarily sated and at peace.

And it'll be at that moment when you realise why you accept his anger and pain.

Because you'd do anything to see him happy.

Asami doesn't talk. Whenever I ask how his day was. Or what time he'll be home tomorrow. He'll always brush it off, vague excuses all I'll get in return.

But I can accept that. Because I know later that night when I'm tangled in his arms, lower back numb to pain, I'll be able to look into those glazed eyes and see the words he'll never be able to say.

'I love you.'

And what will my response be? Tucking my head under his chin and tracing my fingers across his chest. And I'll fall asleep knowing my message was conveyed.

'I love you too.'

Very short but this is my first attempt at this manga and I want to see how people respond. I know it was quite sappy but I like it, and I'm proud of it. So please tell me how to improve and what you liked about it. It would mean the world.
