When I started writing this fic, I decided to not bother you with any A/N nonsense, but...

Okay, at this point I have to admit that chances of me finishing this fic in a timely fashion died a long time ago. This is mostly because I have other things to do and I did not plan this fic very well. I think it was around chapter 6 that I may have started to actually plan what could happen, but mostly this fic have been just me throwing whatever comes to my mind to paper. The point of this fic was just to see if I could write something and if people would like to read it. And if someone would have liked this fic, maybe I could have really planned and written something better.

Maybe that will happen someday. For now, I'm focusing on my job and life. My will to write has been growing, but getting back to this works seems just too hard.

I hate unfinished stories, so I may continue this story or start a new one some day. However, for now I give you all my thoughts and ideas for this story that I still remember as that is all I can do at this time.

So spoilers ahead.

1. So you may have wondered why Harry is dragon. This is actually something that I planned. When they were running around in ministry trying to get the prophesy they destroyed vial that contained something that unspeakables were working on. A small scale stuck to Harry's leg and spread from there turning him into a dragon. I tried to hint to this in few ways. One of this was that the unspeakables have been plotting and want to speak to everyone that was at ministry back then because the scale they were testing is missing .

2. Harry is dragon and becoming more dragon like all the time. I'm not sure where I was going with this. There were few options. One would have been to turn Harry completely into dragon. Charlie would have come to rescue him and there would have been fight between him and Voldemort. During the fight Harry would have lost his humanity and escaped to somewhere. There could have been sequel where Voldemort and Charlie compete to find him or the two working together.

Another idea was to Harry win over his dragon side and become some sort of dragon animagus. There would have been lot of angst as Harry would have done horrible things during his time as a dragon.

3. Pairings. So I like slash. When I started this there were two options, Harry/Voldemort or no romance at all. However, Charlie/Harry become option at some point. I never did choose what option would have been the final one.

4. Severus was unable to recognise Harry because Harry was already too much a dragon for him to understand his mind. At some point he would have realised what had happened and well, something would have happened, no idea what.

5. At some point, there would have been situation where Hermione and Ron would have joined the story momentary. I would have probably killed them off. Because angst.

6. The whole deal with weird ritual with Rabastan (was it rabastan?). No idea really. It was just a way to get Harry more freedom as a dragon. And maybe I had hopes for Harry/Rabastan because there is way too few fics with that pairing...

You see how little planning there was? That's why the whole fic was pretty much a hot mess with Harry being kidnapped by different groups. So if you are thinking about writing, please plan something beforehand.

I may have had other plans but I don't remember them straight now. I was on my way on planning how the fic could end, but I had no idea how to get there.
