"Where the hell is he?" BEN muttered to himself, and turned on the television. Jeff had to run an errand for Slenderman once again. They had seemed a bit constant lately, and the short, slightly chubby blonde wondered why Slenderman didn't ask a member of the proxy to do them instead of Jeff. The gamer had to get some answers. He picked up the telephone and called Slendy.

"Hello?"

"Hey Slender, it's BEN. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but why have you made Jeff make so many runs lately?"

"I haven't been? Well, maybe Masky has done a lot but…"

"Oh, alright. Thank you." BEN remarked, and hung up. Obviously, Jeff lied to him about doing things for Slenderman, but where exactly was he?

His question couldn't be pondered much more when he found that a somewhat drunken Jeff walked into the door.

"Jeffery! Where the hell have you been? It's almost midnight and you left this morning!"

"You know… Slenderman…"

"Yeah, I heard. I just called him. He said he didn't make you do shit."

Jeff went more wide-eyed than he was already. "Are you saying you don't trust me?"

"I am now! Where were you, exactly?"

"Why do you even care?!"

"I care because I love you!"

"The only feelings you have are programmed into you, asshole."

BEN took a step back. That hurt. A lot.

"I think I'm going to leave for tonight." BEN tried to say confidently but his voice cracked, and tears rolled down his face.

"Be my guest." Jeff yelled back, and opened the front door. BEN grabbed his hat and walked out to hear a door slam behind him. All the anger left the blonde's face, and was replaced with despair. He walked to his house, opened the door, and sat down with his head in his hands. This wasn't the first time Jeff had been drunk and they argued. It was almost an everyday occurrence, recently. That's why the gamer was so scared. After Jeff's anger, he became very controlling drunk. BEN knew he had to escape the situation until Jeff was sober. He had to hide. The blonde locked the door, which he knew wouldn't hold Jeff off for long, and jumped into his computer.

In a couple minutes, he heard a knock at the door.

"BEN you better get your ass out here right now or I swear I will kill you."

If BEN was dating anyone else, that would have sounded like a load of crap. Sadly, BEN was dating a murderer, so he knew Jeff was capable of killing him. He hid behind the border of the computer so Jeff wouldn't see him when he got in.

"You have ten seconds, fucker."

BEN didn't budge. He felt tears return to his face. Then, Jeff kicked down the door, and entered.

"Get your fat ass out of wherever you are."

"Leave me alone! Okay? Why do you even want to see me if I mean nothing to you?"

"I need you around so I don't need to keep paying hookers if I want a good time."

"That's all?"

Jeff crept over to the computer.

"I know you're in there. I will slam that computer against the damn wall if you don't come with me."

BEN figured out this was a life-or-death situation, and jumped out of the computer. Jeff walked up to him and punched him.

"That's what you get for leaving, dumb shit." The black-haired drunk mumbled, and grabbed the blonde's hand. He tugged him back to Jeff's house, and pushed him inside. The door locked behind both of the boys.

BEN woke up from one of the longest nights he ever had. Jeff slept facing the other way in their bed, so the blonde had no trouble trying not to wake him. He limped over to the mirror. Bruises covered his collarbones and a black eye where he was punched for leaving Jeff shown back at him. The gamer lifted his shirt. Hickeys, cuts, and more bruises covered him from head to toe. BEN knew he could have put on some more decent clothes and ran. Ran far, far away from that monster. He could have done it, but he didn't.

He just had a feeling that he couldn't leave Jeff. No matter what.
