This is what it was like for Reepicheep when he crossed into Aslan's Country. This Poem is written in pattern to the Hebrew Psalms. In the Bible, where the Psalms are found, they are often written with each pair of lines saying basically the same thing, just phrased in a different way.
For example:
"I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait,
And in His word do I hope.
My soul waits for the Lord
More than a watchmen for the morning;
Indeed, more than a watchmen for the morning."
I do not own anything, it all belongs to C.S. Lewis!

Shores Beyond the Wave
Pale lilies on a blue cascade,
Water tinged with snow white dots,
Over to the other side,
To the shores beyond the wave.
Behind me they call goodbye,
Below they say farewell,
As up and over I do ride,
Further up and further in.
I'm upon the crest now,
I'm as far up as I can go,
I turn slowly away from my past,
From all I've ever known,
To face the light that is not caused by sun,
But a glow of eternal day.
I catch my breath in wonder,
I inhale in total awe,
For Aslan's Country is before my eyes,
My King's land fills all my sight.
Over the top I'm falling now,
I topple with a rush,
I should be frightened,
My heart should be gripped in fear,
But it's not,
I am not afraid.
I do not feel when I hit the end,
I'm not sure if I ever did,
But when I open my eyes,
When my vision is cleared of fog,
I see my King before me,
I am there in his presence,
And I know I am where I am meant to be,
I know that I am home.
