Disclaimer: I don't own Thor.

A/N: Inspired by the song Sleep don't Weep by Damien Rice which I don't own either.

Thor carded his hand through Loki's hair to try to get Loki calm down. Loki was crying, tears streaming his face his face, only to be seen once they had escaped Loki's hand that appeared to be trying to hold the tears away so no one could see them. Loki was sitting with his back to him hunched over, probably still in another attempt to hide the tears. But Thor still saw them and heard the sniffling sound even through his brother's hand.

They had lost their mother years ago but it was only now that Loki had turned from his dark ways was actually allowing himself to grieve for her rather than reacting with anger. And grieving Loki was. It did not help that they had a very trying day, but then again he doubted Loki would have finally broken down if he hadn't been so tired.

Thor kept on carding his fingers through his brother's hair trying to comfort him through the crying. Loki fell onto his bed that they previously had been sitting on and covered his face with a pillow. Thor moved slightly to keep carding Loki's hair. He wasn't fond of seeing his brother hurt, but he was glad that his brother was finally letting him help him rather than always pushing him away. He was glad that he could be there for his brother in his time of trouble. They were the only ones left of their family and if his brother needed him than his place was at his side. It was where he belonged.

"Sleep don't weep." Thor said fondly and he kept carding his fingers through Loki's hair. Thor heard Loki's breathing slowly even out and was glad to know that his brother was asleep and for the moment no longer suffering.
