Hello Everyone!

It's been a long time since I've updated this fanfiction. Thank you to all your kind messages and comments, thank you for your well wishes. Thank you to the loyal readers who still check for updates on this story, even though it hasn't been updated in years. I can't stress it enough how much I really appreciate it. I haven't written any new material for this story mainly for two reasons. Number one, when I first started it I was very depressed, and for the longest time it only reminded me of that horrible time. I didn't even want to look at it. Number two, life just got away from me. I started working full time, I was finally leaving my house to see my friends, I was travelling. After what felt like not living properly for the longest time, I started to feel good, and simply didn't have the time to focus on this fic anymore.

I feel like I'm finally ready to come back and continue this story. Just to be clear, my original idea for the plot has gone out the window. I was in a completely different state of mind back then, compared to what I am now. I've decided to fix the story, I'm just not happy with some things, although the main plot points will stay the same. The story will definitely not be as dark as I first wanted it to be. If you're still interested in my fic, please bare with me for a little bit longer. I will update it as soon as possible.

Quick Update 31/05/20: I have read through the previous chapters, fixed some mistakes and re-uploaded them. Anyone who already read the whole thing, there is no need to reread, unless you just want to refresh your memory. The only thing that ended up being changed, was the bit that Harry emancipated himself. After rereading it, it just sounded weird and super unrealistic. Instead I just made Remus his guardian straight away. Everything else stayed. Stay tuned for more :)
