Red, Jack, the Wolf and the Bean Shop

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters! I think I own the bean shop but whatever!

Little Red Riding Hood starts with Little Red going through an obviously dangerous forest to get to her grandmother's house to deliver her basket. And so on and so forth.

But one day after that whole episode had been and gone, Red (she no longer wanted to be called Little Red as she was a big girl now) had been instructed to visit Mr. Wolf who lived next door at 6 Wolf Way, in the Land of Fairy Tales and Bean Shops. Red lived at 5 Wolf Way.

The thing was, Mr. Wolf was now awfully depressed because after he caught rabies and went mad and tried to (almost successfully) eat his neighbours (Red and that Old Bat), he had lost his job, his pack authority, his wife had left him and took his cubs with her, and he now had a scar on his stomach thanks to that damned woodcutter. (He only wanted access to the old woman's medicine cabinet for a couple of painkillers but he needed Red's help to find it when the old hag wouldn't cooperate. So he tried to kidnap her and got a bit snappy around the old witch. He was perfectly happy with his sound logic.)

So he was moping around in his armchair staring at a blank TV screen when he heard a knock at the front door. He sighed, looked up and yelped when he saw Red peering down at him inches away from his own face.

"What's the time Mr. Wolf?" She joked, smiling widely.

God she's terrifying… "It's time for you to **** off." He growled.

"Au contraire Mr. Wolf, you look awfully hungry!" And with that she skipped into the kitchen.

"Eeeeeee! Mr. Wolf! Where are your veggies? There's only meat here!"

"Look Kid, I –" He began.

"That's it! I'm going to buy you some veggies!" With that she was gone. As soundlessly as she had come.

"Oh hell." Mr. Wolf hid his face in his paws.

Red Riding Hood skipped down the street. She often got odd looks for skipping as she was fourteen but she didn't care. She was too busy in looking for a grocer's where she could buy some veggies for Mr. Wolf. Suddenly she came across a small shop. It looked promising so she entered.

Jack's Bean Shop wasn't doing very well. The beans were mostly dry and tasteless. It wasn't even his shop. It was his father's. And Jack had to spend every Saturday working there as his father was 'too busy'.

Too busy my arse. Thought Jack. He's probably off gambling at the Queen of Hearts Casino downtown.

The bell rang as a potential customer entered the shop. It was a small girl.

"Wow. Someone who isn't involved with the repo men came in. This is a first." Jack muttered to himself.

Red was astonished. She'd never seen a bean shop before. The sign had said bean shop but she thought it was joking. She couldn't believe it. She jumped around happily.

"Can I help you?" Came a smooth voice.

Red turned around. A young boy around her age stood behind the counter. He had scruffy brown hair the same shade of his eyes. Red didn't like boys.

Red threw out him out the window, stole some beans and buggered off.

And they all lived happily ever after.

Can you tell when I got fed up? :P Thanks for reading and please leave a review! Even though there isn't really much to review about!
