My god, it's been ages since I've gotten the chance to write on here! I almost for got my passcode, to be honest!

Enjoy!

One shot was all it took. It took one shot to Dean's forearm, and Olivia's neck was spared. Once Dean began to clutch at his own arm Olivia fell to her knees, choking on her own air and tears. Fin rushed over to Dean and slapped handcuffs on his wrists, then called a bus to get the bullet out of Dean.

Elliot ran to Olivia, helping her to her feet. He places his first three fingers delicately under her chin, bringing her eyes up to his.

"Olivia oh my god you scared me half to death. Are you hurt?" He asked desperately, scanning over her for any major injuries.

"N-no not majorly." Olivia stammered.

Remembering that Dean had pulled her by the hair once more that day,Elliot continued his search on her with look down at the top of her head. The gash from the harsh tugging had reopened, and deepened a lot. Elliot cursed under his breath and looked for any sort of cloth to put on the wound.

Not finding anything, he took the bottom sleeve of his shirt and ripped it clean off of him, then placed it on her head. He gently lifted up her hand stand placed it atop the cloth to replace his.

"Liv you keep pressure on that alright, I'm going to go find the kids." Elliot stated, already dashing away.

He ran outside and turned in a circle. Where could they be? Michelle was smart, and if she remembered what Elliot had told her before then all of the kids should be closely knit together.

"MICHELLE!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.

"Honey it's me, where are you?!" He shouted again, just with less angering fear in his voice.

It took a while but eventually a voice called back to him.

"Daddy?" He knew that sweet as a rose voice from anywhere. His angel had called back.

Elliot looked around, the voice came from the north, so he looked in the distance. The park. Of course she would hide in the little school park, there were trees everywhere.

He sprinted over to the fluster of fallen leaves and branches and began to search behind every tree. There was no one there. He looked up into the field and looked down to the stumps. The first few rows he found nothing, but then, in the fourth row of trees, there was a little splash of blonde hair that came and then wisped away into the stumps. His girls hair.

He couldn't have run faster. He got to his daughters tree and she turned around to peek around the corner just in time to run her face into his leg. She gasped at first and let out a little yelp of fear, but once she found who it was, she jumped up.

Olivia had just gotten out of her trance and sat down when the slur of kids came running in. They all ran, but once they got to the doorway, they began to slowly walk in. The first to walk in were Michelle, Elliot, and Vanessa. Vanessa's jaw hit the floor and Michelle just ran to her.

"Ms. Benson are you okay?" Michelle asked once she reached Olivia.

Olivia faked a smile and pulled Michelle in for a hug.

"I am now Michelle, now that I know you guys are safe." Olivia shakily spat out.

Michelle smiled and hugged Olivia a little tighter. Michelle was happy that Olivia was safe too. Fin walked up behind Elliot and patted his back. Elliot turned his head and looked at Fin questionably.

"I called Cragen. Dean got set up with the blue collar taxi and I went down to the office. In a minute the principle should be letting the school off-" Fin started, but was cut off by the free bells ringing through the school.

"Lockdown." Elliot answered.

"Okay now, ms. Benson. There should be a bus waiting for you outside to take you to the hospital, so once the kids are safely out on the field detective Stabler will take you to the hospital." Fin said to her softly.

Olivia let go of Michelle, stood up, and nodded at Fin. Then she cleared her throat.

"Alright kids, I need everybody to line up at the door, don't bother with your lunch boxes or anything in your cubbies, we can worry about all of that later. But bring your backpacks just in case." Olivia tried to raise her voice, but the choking she could already tell had strained her vocal chords. It was hard to talk and swallow, she could barely breath properly.

All the children nodded wearily and turned around. Most kids were already at the door except Vanessa and Michelle. But Vanessa took Michelle's hand and tried to walk her to the line, but Michelle snatched her hand out of Vanessa's and looked to Elliot.

He shook his head at her.

"Not right now sweetheart, you need to go get in line." Elliot ordered.

Michelle sighed and nodded, the ran back over to Vanessa's sunken soul. She tightly squeezed her hand and gave her a hopeful smile, things were going to be okay.

In the end, everything was.

Olivia had been given the rest of the week off, to let herself recover from her attack. Vanessa and Michelle had received gratitude from all of the schools staff for notifying them of Dean's arrival, and their whole first grade class got an after school pizza party for their bravery.

It was now the day after the incident, and Olivia had just arrived home. She hadn't gone through much medically speaking. The doctors had to put stitches in her scalp and a prescribed medicine for her swollen neck glands and vocal chords, but other than that it was just bruising to the stomach and tiny cuts.

Olivia reached her door, and just as she was putting her key in the door the door behind her opened. She spun around to see who it was, but then slightly grinned when she saw Elliot.

"Welcome back, Ms. Benson." He greeted with a smile as well.

"Why thank you, Mr. Stabler. No show at work today?" She asked.

He chuckled a little bit and shook his head.

"No, they didn't let me back in. After all the commotion I put through the squad room my captain ordered me on leave until next week." He explained.

"Ouch, that's brutal." She whispered, her voice was already beginning to wear out on her.

"Yeah, but on the good side Porter is booked, you shouldn't see him for a while after the charges our friend Alex is preparing to file him with." Elliot shut his door and locked it, then turned back around.

"Well, as much as I loved this little chat, I've got a five year old to acquire to. If you would excuse me." Elliot excused himself kindly.

Olivia nodded in understanding and stood to the side, letting him pass. Oh, if only the day would come when Olivia could have a life like that.
