Chapter 9

I am sorry for the delay. Things in life happen. Guys, I am going to mix up the timeline here and maybe crossover some sons of anarchy. let me know what you guys think.

Ari & Kate were in bed. Kate was working on her computer. Ari was reading intel reports.

Ari was drinking red wine, and Kate was drinking her tea.

Ari & Kate's bedroom:

Ari reached over and rubbed his hand across Kate's back. He could tell that she was feeling tired and uncomfortable from her pregnancy.

Ari said "she should get some rest" Kate knew tomorrow was going to be a long day. Gibbs would want the whole story. He will be relentless.

Kate said "you're right my love." Kissing Ari. Closing the laptop and putting it on the table. She laid down on her side. Normally she would have laid on Ari's chest. However, she is too pregnant. Ari took the last sip of wine and put the glass on top of the report. He spooned Kate. Tells her, I love you kissing her cheek and then rubbing her belly.

The next morning:

Kate awoke without Ari's arms around her. It was morning she grabbed her phone to see it was 6:00 am. She knew Ari was running. She got up and started to get dressed. When she was in the shower washing her hair she felt him before seeing him.

She was rinsing her hair, and Ari had taken one of her nipples in his mouth. Kate smiled "I am guessing you are not tired from your workout." Ari smiled against kate's breast. Kissing up her chest and neck. Coming to her ear and whispering, "I am never too tried to make love to my beautiful wife." Ari moves a hand down kate she breathes heavy as Ari goes to work to make her ready for him. It doesn't take long. Even pregnant Ari can lift kate with ease. Kate wrapped her arm around his neck as Ari roughly pushes inside Kate. Every time they are together, she remembers the first time when she felt so safe and knew this was her soulmate. Before she knows it she says "I am about to come!" Ari tells her to wait for him however she can't it so much she let go and that makes Ari come. They stay like that for a while and Kate says "I hate to spoil this but, we have to wake the twins." Ari slowly let Kate down they finish showering and getting dressed.

At Mossd

At the office Ari goes in to Eli's office. While Kate goes to her office. Truly it is their office. Ari always is with her in her office. She never understood why he always was with her and not in his office. Kate smiled thinking about all the times they would work in the office together. Kate was blind to the times Ari was in his office, or with Eli in his office. However, that would all come to light soon.

Kate said hello to Nina her assistant. Then walked in her office. She always smiled knowing that about seven months ago her and Ari were locked in that office making love conceiving the baby growing in her. It was after a mission that she hated. It was a mission where she was sure Ari killed someone. However, Ari made her believe that he didn't. That was when they fought so bad. She rubbed her belly thinking of that night.

She had about an hour before she was meeting Gibbs. Kate ask Nina to bring her tea, and the files from the locked cabinet she need.

Nina brought in the tea and the files, and put them on Kate's task. Kate ask her to let her know when Dr. Haswari was leaving Eli's office. Kate did want a fight between Gibbs, Tony or McGee. Kate knew better than to get between Ari and Ziva.

BACK IN ELI'S OFFICE

Eli is sitting at his desk. Ari is standing at window looking down at the courtyard.

Ari wants to know if the room in wired and the cameras are hidden. Eli says "yes they are hidden well. I know how easy it is for your Caitlin to spot these things." Ari smiled, knowing how true that is.

Ari says that he wants guards posted outside since Catlin will not allow me to be there.

Eli says, "no way I told the director, and Kate that she would be protected. That you would not be there per kate's request, buy that his men would be safe."

Ari responds and says "you know I'm never far away from my Caitlin."

Eli, walks around the desk and put his hand on Ari's shoulder. "Kate will be fine." I know she is just trying to protect everyone. Ari says, "I know father. If anything happens to Caitlin. I will kill them." Eli knew no matter what he said or ordered. Ari would kill and has killed for Kate. Eli, loved Kate like his own child. She was a mix of Tali and Ziva. She had given him so much his son, and grandchildren. She is his daughter.

BACK TO KATE'S OFFICE

Nina buzzes Kate. Kate thinks Ari is about to walk in she simply says "send them in" she stands and fixed her dress. As the door opens. She sees it isn't her husband it is Ziva.

"Ziva, what are you doing here?" Kate ask.

Ziva says, "I want to know why you are here and I had to take your place. I should be with my brother."

Kate looks at Ziva blankly.

Ziva closes the space between them . Trying to Intimidate Kate.

Kate moves from behind her desk nearing the small sofa. Kate says "Ziva, I am sorry feel that way. I was only following Jenny's orders. I had no idea that you were sent to replace me with my team. I really think that that something that you need to take up with the director, and your father. Now I'm gonna ask you to leave my office. Because, I don't think Ari wants us to be alone together." At the exact same time Kate was saying this period Nina buzz Kate, and said Mrs. Haswari, There's an agent Gibbs here to see you. Kate mediately answers her and says show him in. Kate knows that this is gonna get Ziva it to leave.
