Why do all my ideas hit me before falling asleep. Like i am not enough of an insomniac already *sigh*.

Inuyasha was walking toward a small village he had done some exterminating for today. He was usually more than happy to do some fighting for not much of a reason but today he was remembering some old days with some old comrades. It had been a few years sense they all traveled together. He missed it some times.

Sango and Miroku had gotten married and started a family after it was all over and done with. They had moved back to the old slayer village to start anew. He would stop by now and then and see them and there rugrats. Kagome had long moved on from him and found someone who loved her and would take care of her. He still didn't like HIM though. He growled at the thought. He still remembered the day she took those cursed beads off of him. He was almost sad to see them go...almost. He still had flash backs about that acursed word now and then.

As Inuyasha approached the village a few farmers and village men came to thank him, but he waved them off saying it was nothing. He still didn't take praise to well, but they insisted he go talk to the Lady of the village who was without a lord at her side.
Of course Inuyasha didn't notice the suggestion because well he's Inuyasha. He was lead into the Lady of the villages home and seated in a large room with food and told to help himself.

"Our Lady will be with you momentarily good sir" Random villager number 4 said.

Inuyasha shrugged and started to eat standing up. He didn't feel like sitting down so soon after a battle. It wasn't a tough demon and he still had adrenaline pumping from it.
Of course later he would regret this decision. Distracted eating food and still lost in old memory's of painful arguments he didn't notice the beautiful women come in and watch him for a moment.

"Please Sit and enjoy good sir" She spoke softly from the door.

But poor Inuyasha never heard past SIT. He was so startled by her appearance and the forbidden word that he lost his balance and slipped. Going head first into the table covering himself in food and getting a nie bruised chin. Along with breaking the table.
All was silent for a moment as the Lady was shocked to silence and Inuyasha was a bit dizzy from the hit, but he was shocked out of his silence by a sound. He looked up and removing the food from his faced he was shocked by the site before him. The lady of the village was standing in front of him and she was indeed gorgeous, but what stunned him was the fact she was almost bent over double from laughing so hard. Her laughter was like the sound of bells and he was so stunned by it that he didn't even get upset about the laughter.

It took her a few moments but she did compose herself and she stood up straight wiping her eyes for a moment.

"Forgive me, I did not mean to offend you. I have not laughed that hard in quite a while." She said with a dazzling smile and a blush that left Inuyasha speechless.

"Please let me show you to room were I can help you get cleaned up and have your clothes washed" She said with a smile and a deeper blush as she took his hand and led him down the hall.
And all Inuyasha could think as the beautiful women led him away was.

'Maybe its not such a horrible word after all'
