The Famiglia listened in silence as their eyes were set on the ex-Sky Arcobaleno who was spilling all the beans to them.

Kazuto eyed her suspiciously, as she continued to talk about the curse and the cure.

'Too goddamn easily.'

However, of course, she did not mentioned the true savior's name at all, throughout the whole speech. Not even once.

He silently, bitterly, chuckled. 'I feel so credited for what I have done.'

He forced a smirk up his face and said in his utmost sarcastic voice, "Wow~"

"The current Vongola boss must have done a lot for the Arcobaleno hasn't he?"

Yuni looked down and said, "I guess so…"

The brunet looked her with an unimpressed look before mocking her.

"Oya, isn't the Arcobalenos supposed to be a group of the strongest people? Why do you need so much help?"

Yuni gasped as he leaned forward, their nose almost touching each other.

"Are the Arcobalenos that weak?"

Her eyes widened by inches at his words. Instantly, he earned two guns to his head. A defeated laugh slipped through his lips. His body daringly straightened up despite the coldness of the metal digging into his temple.

"Just kidding," The brunet laughed and clapped his hands together sloppily. The guns remained in the same position, threatening to blow his head off. A smirk crept up his face.

"Ma~ what I said just now was me joking around so loosen up, please?" he asked in a mocking tone.

"Of course, all of you are strong, well maybe except for…"

"The Sky Arcobaleno."

*Bang* x2

"Oto!" he huffed, back folding a few degrees back, dodging the two bullets aiming for the sides of his head.

'Okay, I had to admit, this was a petty revenge for not crediting me. I am salty about it. Very salty.'

A snigger from a certain purple hair girl could be heard from behind him before he brushed it off.

'Perhaps I was a bit too harsh on her, considering that she is…' he thought silently, fingers cupping his chin and eyed at the two hitmans' faces which were visibly angry.

Kazuto laughed dismissively, "Just kidding, just kidding. You all are just fun to tease with."

The raven hitman vehemently bashed his gun into the top of the head of the brute with a force and accuracy to the pressure point that it almost made him collapse onto the floor. Almost. He would have humiliated himself badly if it were not for his well-trained legs.

He let out a grunt and faked a pout, "It's hurt, Reborn-sensei~" His words were filled with sass and a lighthearted tone that coupled with it. His head swayed back a little, eyes glancing back to take a peep at the hitman's face, hoping to find something interesting.

Instead, he got a look that sent a million shivers down his spine in one go. Reborn softened his gaze within seconds and warned in a calm voice.

"Don't repeat that mistake again."

Those few words were a clear warning to everyone.

'Man... If a glare could kill, I would have been dead right now. You should have seen those menacing eyes he gave me.'

It was like a glare from the Satan himself.

Understatement of the year.

"Don't underestimate us, transfer students," Fong warned in a dark tone. Kazuto inwardly whistled, it was the first time hearing the forever calmed and collected ex-Arcobaleno talking in this kind of tone. He chuckled childishly, hopping back to his Famiglia, finding refuge from danger.

"Kazu, we are so not going to help you to fight them if you are going provoke them like that," Suzume joked, her shoulders shaking from holding back too much laughter after rereading his mind. He growled aggressively at her before pouting and sulking with a pair of puppy eyes.

"Suzu-neechan~" he tugged on the wavering sister's uniform, calling her name in a cute way he never would think he could do. Even she was looking at me with a super disgusted-filled face as she tugged away.

'Why did I even do that for anyways?! Am I drunk on something?' Kazuto panicked in his mind.

Regretting his actions, he crawled to Masashi for comfort. The redhead stared blankly at his boss' dejected self and laughed weirdly, "Haha… Kazu-chan, that was very disgusting."

'You're not helping!'

Kurami held her laughter in and refused to meet the brunet's eyes, "Kazu-chan, I having secondhand embarrassment for you."

"And by the way, Etsuko videotaped it down," Masashi supplied helpfully.

"What." Kazuto's head snapped towards the busted girl, glaring and demanding an answer from her.

"Shit! Why you do this Masa!" The raven fled to hide behind Yasushi. She peered out from the silent brother's side and tried to convince. TRIED.

"M-maa… Kazuto, it is just one of your random outburst of disgustingness."

'Oooh, that was so convincing, Etsuko. Such a beautiful and considerable way to convince someone!'

Looking back at the Acrobalenos, Kazuto smirked at how the serious atmosphere turned into something weird, causing them to be stunned by the sudden change, and huffed a laughter.

Rolling his eyes, he decided to switch the subject. Straying from important matters is impolite after all. Moreover, to save his face.

"And why are you telling us all this? Since this Federico person helped you out so much in the past, there's no reason for you to find us to help you out," Kazuto said in a matter-of-fact tone, ignoring the bunch of gossipers whispering and chattering behind him. Though not obvious, the whole famiglia managed to catch all the ex-Arcobalenos glanced away with gritted teeth with signs of hatred blazing in their eyes. Kazuto narrowed his eyes at the new discovery.

Colonnello, being the first to recover, explained carefully, "We didn't want to bother and burden them anymore. And... We can't turn to them for this problem this time."

Kazuto hummed in annoyance at the excuse they were giving and spoke in a rather harsh tone, "And what's the problem?"

This made Yuni flinched back and explained the situation in a shaking voice, "I had a vision of a prophecy of us dying in a few weeks times... We couldn't just attack any suspects with groundless pieces of evidence." This caught Kazuto's attention immediately.

"Is that so," Kazuto said nonchalantly, glancing back at his guardians who looked back at him with the same expression. The brunet pondered in silence for a moment before reaching a conclusion, "so you're basically looking for scapegoats?"

Yuni shocked at the conclusion he made, quickly corrected him, "No, we're not. We just want someone to help us and your famiglia was the first choice we thought of. Your famiglia is the only family in this school who doesn't have any connections with other families and is free of suspicions, so we-"

"Are you seriously going to trust a 'nobody' famiglia?" Kazuto snapped harshly, cutting the girl off and making her cowered under his strong gaze. "Kazuto," Reborn growled lowly, displeased with his rude attitude. The brunet glared back and said clearly, "Sorry but, no. We are not some pushovers."

Lal sighed heavily and stepped in, "There's no point in forcing a famiglia to help us." Colonnello, who was surprised at his fiance's statement, started to protest.

Kazuto glanced at Yuni's crestfallen face and groaned at what he had done. With his guardians booing at him for making a girl sad, he spoke up again to justify himself, "I'm really sorry but, my famiglia is a family who doesn't trust anyone and a family that should not be counted on either. Mafia is not such a trusting field after all."

Verde and Mammon agreed with the boss, fully understanding where he's coming from.

The rest of Arcobalenos slowly gave up on convincing the brunet. Colonnello had a really defeated face before crouching into a ball at corner as Lal consoled him. Noticing this, Kazuto asked, "Isn't there other famiglias that you can count on, you literally listed the top five strongest famiglia in Mafia, like Varia, Simon, Cavallone and Millefiore."

"The famiglia you listed currently isn't available and some of them are on the suspect list," Reborn said absentmindedly, energy drained off suddenly. "Let's drop this topic since this isn't going anywhere."

Kazuto smiled slightly and agreed.

"By the way, Reborn-sensei, can I have your opinion of Federico? I'm going to be in the same division as him, after all," Kazuto asked.

For a split second, Kazuto thought he saw his teacher's eyes widened in fear before regaining back its composure. 'We're talking about Reborn here. There is no way he has such thing as fears,' Kazuto tried to persuade himself. 'However, what Federico did to him not long ago, made me have my doubts.'

"You can find it out yourself when you meet him properly."

'Dodging the question, huh? Reborn...'

Pouting, Kazuto said absentmindedly, "Okay then… cheapskate..."

"You want me to bash your head in, don't you," Reborn threatened back instantaneously with his gun in his hand.

Stifling his laughter behind his hand, Kazuto changed the subject immediately again, "Alright, by the way, how old are you Reborn? Physically."

Reborn caught in the flow, thought for a moment and asked, "Around fifteen. Why?"

'Hm… His growth is faster than I thought…'

"Nothing, just curious," he lied, dismissing it in an obvious manner. Reborn looked questioningly at me weirdly before shrugging it off.

"Alright, you all can go back to your classes, it will be the usual lessons for today."

The Famiglia bowed, said their thanks and walked off.

"Wait! Please Kazuto-kun," Yuni stopped them in their tracks. "We really need your help, we don't know what's causing our deaths. But please reconsider it."

Kazuto turned back and gave them a sheepish smile before responding with a sharp and spiteful tone.

"Well, isn't that tragic. Go ask the Vongola."

Yuni's ocean blue eyes widened at his ignorant reply, as the rest did nothing, only watching the backs of our silhouettes.

'Sorry Reborn, you might need to stay fifteen forever…'

The seven walked in silence and came to a stop after a considerable distance from the hall.

"Pffffffffffffffft!" Etsuko let out in one go. Her face flushed red as if she was holding her laughter for ages. "Disgusting omnivore," Kyouya joined the laughing girl, covering his mouth while doing so. Right after he said those two words, the rest joined them almost immediately. Even Yasushi was trying to contain his laughter in. The corner of his mouth kept twitching uncontrollably, trying to contain the giggles inside him.

Kazuto huffed in defeat, "Yasu-nii, you can laugh."

On cue, the usually emotionless bluenette started to giggle softly. The boss sighed out a relieved breath before groaning and whining, "You guys really like to tease me, don't you."

The six begun to laugh even more and loudly. "You're the one who chose to act like that," Kurami pointed out in a fast rap speed and continued laughing. Kazuto grumbled and rolled his eyes again in defeat,

"True."

"Heh," Kazuto started to laugh along with them, finding himself ridiculous as well, this had continued for another minute until he gave a glance at his watch.

"Alright, enough laughing. Let's get on to the real and important topic here," Kazuto interrupts the happy atmosphere. The laughter died down instantly, giving the brunet the needed attention.

"I have noticed some important things about the ex-Arcobaleno, so at night we will communicate through a video call. I need you guys to be at your utmost behavior and please do not cause any trouble," Kazuto smiled sweetly. "Your training after school will be multiplied by five times."

"Eh?! There's training today?!" Etsuko screeched in shock.

The brunet gave her an 'angelic' smile, "Yes, Miss Etsuko."

Kazuto clapped his hands together twice before the raven could protest, "Alright, go back to class! Go go shoo~" His hands waving the older siblings off without waiting for them to even react to what he said.

"Wow, rude~" Suzume jeered sassily before chuckling. "Let's go Kyouya, Kurami. I'll be your new boss," The lavender-haired girl joked, taking the two mentioned by the hand. Kyouya in return, slapped her hand away gently with a smirk on his face, "No way, herbivore."

Suzume gave him back a smug face, "Oya? Are you sure?" Her hand was reaching into her pocket. As if she expected, the raven jolted at the action and stared intensely, telling her not to. Suzume wiggled her eyebrows, anticipating for the other to do something. Growling in defeat, the raven had no choice but to grab back the rejected hand.

"Ohoho? Suzu-nee, what is it? Tell us!" Both Etsuko and Masashi chorused together. Kyouya glared and growled warningly at the two, barking at them to back off. Of course, the two blockheads did not do the expected and continued to pester the poor raven, whose hand still linked with Suzume's.

"Masa-nii," Kazuto called, signaling him to come. The redhead looked at him and walked to his boss.

"I need you to retrieve it later after school. Your training time will be lessen as your reward."

Masashi smirked, "Oh yay~"

"Guys, go back class. Etsuko, let's go," Kazuto called as he walked to his class. Etsuko squeaked as she ran to catch up to the brunet's side.

"Kazu, you should have waited for me," Etsuko whined as she finally caught up with the brunet who retaliated back that she was slow. The two continued arguing all the way their class.

"Etsuko, there must be a limit to your childishness."

"I could say the same to you, Kazu."

"Shut up Etsuko, your comebacks are the lamest thing I ever heard," Kazuto retorted jokingly, chuckling after seeing the faked, dramatic hurt look on her face.

'Let us see who our substitute teacher is.'

His hand slid open the classroom door as he entered the room. His sight fell on a familiar face. His eyes widened for a second before regaining its composure.

'Father... No. Iemitsu…'

With his head tilted, Kazuto faked a smile and greeted with the warmest voice he could muster, "Good afternoon, Sensei."

If he was in a contest right now, he might have just won the best acting award with those three words.

'I guess I should just shower him with sweet words for now,' Kazuto thought with a poker face.

The blonde-haired teacher just stared at them, shocked. His hand holding an open book with the word 'English Literature'.

The brunet glanced at the book, registering the new information.

"Sorry for being late! We are the transfer student, we had to stay back to talk with the teachers," Kazuto pressed his palms together, pretending to beg for forgiveness. Iemitsu blinked and blinked again before giving them a light chuckle, "Ozawa Kazuto and Ozawa Etsuko right?" The duo nodded in response. He gave them a kind and caring smile and continued, "It's alright. Come on in."

"Che, being a goody-goody in front of teachers?"

The smuggest smile crept up as Kazuto turned to the silver-headed and retorted, "Oya oya, well it isn't the octopus rebel?"

The octopus rebel slammed his hands onto the table, demanding Kazuto to repeat what he said, which he did but in a more mocking tone.

"Kazu, your hidden two-faced school life is sooo secretive, that even a dumbass can figure it out," Etsuko sarcastically commented as she walked past the brunet to her seat and flashed him a thumb up of 'compliments'.

In return, the brunet gave her a face of innocence and clapped for her, 'Congratulations on figuring it out, dumbass."

"OH? I'm smarter than you, Kazu," Etsuko stated in a matter-of-fact tone, giving me a smirk. He gave her a confident look, "We will see." Giving her a sharper smirk, he took his seat silently.

His face etched a kind smile and asked which page he is on currently. Flipping to the page, he nodded his head, signaling to the teacher that he could start.

After a few minutes, Kazuto deemed his lessons as useless and turned to the window to the relaxing scenery that is no different from an ordinary Japanese school, sakura trees planted by the surrounding walls of the school; the only difference is the high-quality antiques that decorated the corridors.

Slowly his brain started to switch off, eyes staring into space mindlessly. "Ozawa Kazuto, please read the statement on the board," a voice called, snapping him from his thoughtless time. His head swayed a bit and turned to the whiteboard with delicate and neat cursive English writings on it. He inwardly snorted, "How contrasting."

Speaking in all language in the world is an essential component of a mafia boss. English specifically is one of the important among them. Besides, he, definitely, had mastered all of them.

"It might be that to surrender to happiness was to accept defeat, but it was a defeat better than many victories."

His voice chimed throughout the room, pronouncing each word accurately, smoothly and precisely.

"Beautiful voice you have, splendidly accurate pronunciation you have. Definitely an ideal example for the rest of the class," Iemitsu complimented with a fatherly smile.

A smile that was never shown to him when he was still his son.

"Thank you," the boss said coolly and sat back classmates, even the Vongola gang, except for Gokudera and Federico, looked at Kazuto in awe and clapped with amusement while Etsuko flashed him a thumb up. He laughed awkwardly, embarrassed from the clapping just for a simple sentence.

"I don't think that it was that spectacular to earn this much praise," he muttered under his breath.

"Ma… It would be unacceptable if you didn't get this much applauds. Well, for Suzu-nee and Yasu-nii," Etsuko commented, snickering as well.

"I don't like attention," he softly stated back.

"Sure," she retorted back with much sarcasm.

"Well, I don't, I'm not an attention seeker like you," he joked back, snickering.

She made a shocked face and her hand over her heart, she dramatically said back, "That was so rude of you, I'm had always dislike attention, that ugly term shall not be used on me." Her face now making an offended expression.

"Sureee," he slurred, voice full of sarcasm, paying her back.

Both of them started to bickering, not knowing that the whole class was staring at them and that the bell had already gone off.

It was until Kazuto's hand instinctively shot up and caught a chalk aimed at his forehead while he watched the other failed to grab the chalk in time and the chalk turning into dust upon the impact on her forehead.

"Pwahahahahahhaha!" he burst out laughing as he squatted in front of the now fainted Etsuko.

"Oh my god, thank you very much for shutting her up! Reborn-sensei, I will appreciate it for the rest of my life!" the brunet cried happily, as he continued to laugh his lungs out, poking the corpse.

"Of course, one of my rules is no talking during class, if one defies there will be consequences," Reborn replied coolly and tipped his fedora hat up with his slender finger. However, he could sense the slight annoyance in the raven's voice for his failure of not hitting the disruptive student with the chalk.

"Oooooh acting cool, Reborn-sensei?" The brunet teased, lips forming a sly smirk.

Reborn merely snorted and announced that he would be taking over the rest of periods.

When Iemitsu was about to leave, Reborn stopped and whispered something into his ears which Kazuto could not make out any of the words.

The blonde teacher nodded and left without another word.

"Alright, time for a math pop quiz," The teacher happily announced as he started to pass the question paper to the front row.

Kazuto observed his classmates for a moment.

Unlike typical students, who always groan and protest at the slightest mention about tests, they did not make a single sound or rather, they looked relaxed and composed. Reborn probably had always given them quizzes on a normal basis, and they had now grown used to it.

'Well, we are talking about Reborn here after all,' he thought, chuckling to himself as a fragment of his memories flashed through his mind.

Within a few minutes, the duo finished the paper. Kazuto slummed down on the table, arms around his head as he gazed out to birds flying by.

"I can't wait for the night to arrive," he muttered under his breath.

'Now that I think about it, why didn't Reborn say anything about Etsuko's Cambio Forma? Also... What punishment was Federico talking about...'

Class ended swiftly with Reborn constantly scolding them for not paying attention to his lessons.

"Alright class, that concludes our lesson, regular diversion lessons will continue as usual tomorrow, please report punctually to your respective venues, you know the consequences," Reborn forewarned with a smirk.

"Kazuto and Etsuko, meet me outside after you packed finish your bag," Reborn finished in a dark tone and left.

The two troublemakers looked at each other and gulped hard, fearing for their lives.

After a good long hour of disciplinary and class rules lectures, finally, they were released from the hellish prison of scolding. The two quickly escaped from the 'demon' and sped down the stairs to their dorms.

"POWHEW!" They chorused, breathless from holding their breath in throughout the torturous session.

"Ah, they are finally here! Over here!" A gentle voice called out and waving her hand high up in the air over a few distances away.

"You two are late," a stern voice, scolded as they made their way to the voices.

"Ma, they must be making lots of trouble for their teacher. Even though Kazu told us not to cause any trouble," a cheerful voice followed after, as they spotted red hair sticking out from the row of ledges.

"Always," a monotonous yet passive voice simply stated. Peaceful purrs from cats, cheerful chirps, energetic barks all clashed together to make a harmonious song.

"I wonder how much they had actually listened," A melodic voice chuckled softly. "Oh, look at those two making their grand entrance."

A colorful and warm sight entered our visions.

"Yo!" The late duo greeted. Smiles stretched across their faces.

All forms of greetings welcomed them back.

"How's class?" Kazuto asked as he sat down on the fresh green grass.

"Boring,"

"Tedious,"

"Tiresome," Suzume, Kyouya, and Masashi snapped at the same time while Kurami laughed, nodding her head to agree with them.

"Fun."

A quiet voice snapped all of their attention to it. His voice filled with contentment and a little of excitement.

"Ah... It's because you had fun destroying that handsome blond teacher and Skull-sensei," Masashi sweatdropped as he recalled his ruthless brother challenging the handsome blonde teacher to test his strength.

"Blond. Fast. Fun," Yasushi described shortly, a smile playing on his lips as he stayed kneeling down, playing with animals around him.

A chuckle escaped their boss' lips as he reminded the brutal not to kill the teachers.

"Alright, you have until 11 pm to do your stuff," he solemnly said, tired from school and lectures.

With that, they went their separate ways to their rooms.

"Kyou-nii, let's go," he called, hooking his arms around his brother's neck. Turning back, the brunet yelled with a devilish smirk, "Don't forget about training!"

Hearing the groans and shrieks of horror together with Kyouya glaring at him.

"Except for you, Kyou-nii, I need to discuss something with you," he informed, paying no heed to his confusion and continued walking.

The second-year duo joined in and made their way to their rooms.

"See ya Kazu!" Masashi winked cheekily and disappeared behind the door with Yasushi.

"Kyou-nii, you can go shower first, I need to research for some information," Kazuto said and sat down at his desk, powering up the computer. His ear picked up a sound of acknowledgment from Kyouya and smiled slightly. Glancing at the clock, he began researching as much information possible about the ex-Arcobalenos until an hour before the appointed meeting.

Scanning through the notes he had jotted down, he heavily sighed in defeat as all the solution he thought of have all reached a similar conclusion.

Kyouya, who had long ago came out of the shower and was playing with Roll, came into the room and asked if he needed any assistance.

The boss stubbornly shook his head in silence and glared hard at the scattered papers. He closed his eyes shut, hoping to squeeze any other ideas out.

'There must be a way to help them!'

"Omnivore, what about that carnivore from that day?" Kyouya spoke softly.

Kazuto's head tilted to one side in confusion, his mind trying to figure out what the other was talking about. Upon realization, his eyes snapped open.

"Checkerface! Thank you, Kyou-nii."

Everything started to click together, taking another piece of paper, he started plotting out the plan.

Just a few minutes before the meeting, he finished mapping out the plans. Giving a few more scans, making sure that there are no flaws, the brunet smiled in satisfaction as he laid it down.

"Kazu! It's eleven!" An excited lad came hopping into the room with Yasushi trailing behind with a pair of dead eyes.

'Must have been hard being with an energized monkey all the time.'

Just in time, his computer rang with the invitation to a video call. Upon accepting the call, the screen changed to a chaotic scene in girl's room.

"Ah! Kazu!" Etsuko cheered, despite being squished in between the other two girls. Suzume and Kurami pressed against the raven girl, trying to get into the capture.

"Yo, Kazu-chan, Kurami made some delicious cookies, and it tasted so goooood! There's still lingering sweetness in my mouth!" Suzume squealed, puffing up her cheeks with her hands cutely. Kurami giggled and said that there is enough for everyone. All of them cheered, praying for tomorrow to come faster.

"Alright, time to be serious, guys," Kazuto started with a serious tone. "First things first, I want you all to be ready, it will not be an easy opponent this time. In fact, the risk will be huge."

Everyone raised an eyebrow at the warning but said nothing nevertheless.

Glancing at the plan he laid before him and continued, "We will be fighting against Checkerface. Well… it will be more on negotiating with him. I also need to check on some important suspicious I have about the ex-Arcobalenos."

"About whether their rapid aging process is affecting their health?" Suzume suddenly asked, deep in thoughts. Kazuto nodded worriedly, eyes glued to the paper. Masashi scooted over to get closer and exclaimed, "It's definitely affecting them, their power decreased tremendously! Especially Reborn's! He barely stopped my spear and injured by it too! Fong's wrists are thinner than mine too, all of you knows how malnourished my wrists look!"

"Reborn-san also suffered some injuries from your x-burner during the trial, he hid it behind his sleeve," Kurami supplied. "Really?!" Kazuto blurted, shocked at the new data.

'This meant that I had managed to land two hits on him already...'

"Within two years, they grew at least ten years physically... Overworking cell production... There's probably insufficient muscle tissues at this point, for their body to function like normal for so long is a big feat," he muttered, jotting them all down on another sheet of paper.

Kurami, who had been looking blankly, suddenly remembered and informed, "Kazu-chan, Mammon's flames output, and concentration has weakened as well, it's not as controlled as I would have expected from an ex-Arcobaleno." Kazuto quickly jotted that down as well and continued to sketch more ideas on the sheet. The pen finally came to a halt, and he turned to Masashi and asked, "Masa-nii, can you bring it here?"

The redhead nodded and did as his boss said, he came back not long after and tossed a rolled paper with a ribbon tied around it onto the bed. Everyone's attention turned to it. Kazuto took the paper and scanned its exterior, noting a little red stain by its side, before prying it open.

When the item wrapped inside fell freely onto the sheets. An annoyed groan immediately came out of his mouth, frowning badly at the familiar photo that was on Cristallo Famiglia's website.

"So this is what one fatal mistake can do," the brunet sighed, as he picked up the letter that fell next to the picture. As he silently read the letter, streams of inaudible curses started to flow out of his mouth.

"Out of all Famiglia, it just has to be The Vindice."

Everyone gasped in unison at the infamous name.

"We're screwed," Estuko blurted. Even though Kazuto did not want to admit, they were truly screwed.

Suzume who remained composed, asked, "What did the letter say."

His eyes scanned through those dreadful words once again reluctantly, before sighing and giving up, he read out,

"Dear Bosses of Vongola,

If you are reading this, you can safely presume that I am no longer in this world. However, this death allowed this chance to go through smoothly. The fact that I had been assassinated will further prove the identity of Cielo Notturno Decimo. The attached document will contain all the information and evidence that I had bet my life on. A similar letter had been sent to Vindice as well, in order to make sure that this absolutely would make through.

Sincerely,

Boss of Christallo Famiglia."

A deafening silence filled both rooms. Staring nervously at the piece of paper, Kazuto fidgeted around uncomfortably.

"Looks like it will go along with the plan."

Suzume's serene voice was laced with a slightly playful tone. Almost excited.

The boss raised an eyebrow in confusion, trying to soak in what she said.

Then it clicked together.

"Oh."

Slumping down onto the fluffy sheets, Kazuto huffed a ridiculed laughter out. His guardians smirked as they all held a confident expression on their faces.

"Of course, the fastest way we can get to Checkerface is through The Vindice!" He chuckled loudly at the realization. With his hand shielding his strained eyes from the ceiling's light, a silly grin formed.

"Yay! Time for more assassinations!" Etsuko cheered, hoping up energetically.

Snickering, the brunet announced, "Alright! This Saturday, we will commence our second major mission. So prepare yourselves."

"Wooo!" Masashi enthusiastically exclaimed, swinging his arm over his blue haired brother, who looked seemingly uninterested.

Even though Yasushi might be wearing an emotionless mask right now, anyone could clearly tell that he was overjoyed for the new mission.

"That's it for today," Kazuto clapped his hands together, concluding the meeting. "Rest well," Masashi and Kurami said in unison before the screen exited out to the home screen.

Letting out a triumphant laugh, his body slumped down into the comforts of the mattress, arm swung over his eyes as Kazuto continued to laugh. He could feel the eyes of his guardians on him as small giggles reached his ears.

As Kazuto was about to fall asleep from the intense concentration mode that he pushed himself into, he felt someone ruffled his hair softly, combing through the soft brown locks. He figured out that it might just be Masashi wanting to play with his hair, he brushed it off and continued to rest. That was until he hears a mischievous and teasing guffaw before a thud and groans of agony followed. Peering up to what he had missed, Masashi was on the floor rubbing his stomach as Kyouya stood in front of him ominously with fist clenched together, ready to give the redhead another round of beating.

"Don't kill Masa-nii yet, we need him for the next mission," the brunet exhaled heavily, hugging his pillow. "After that, I don't care if anything happens to him," he continued jokingly, smirking as the redhead gave out a yelp of shock before recovering quickly, giving a dramatic prince pose.

"Oh my dear Kazu-chan, your sins shall be forgiven with my big, royal and generous heart," he cooed, speaking in a superior way and changed to another theatrical pose. He was about to continue his sudden acting before a looming silhouette cast over him and,

"Ouch."

Yasushi gritted his teeth as he dragged the limp redhead, with a sizzling bump on his head, back to their room. Kazuto giggled at the turns of events before going back to sleep, unknown to his roommate's expression as those events occurred.

The morning came fast, the alarm sounded as everyone rushed to the meeting spot. Especially Kazuto, who woke up late due to the exhaustion from yesterday.

"Alright, if you guys notice anything strange or new about the ex-Arcobalenos, report to me during our free time," Kazuto instructed, waffling down his breakfast.

"Whoa, Kazu slow down, you're going to choke," Masashi warned as he took another bite off his meal.

"Choke choke choke choke," Etsuko and Suzume chanted together and earned a strong smack on the head by Yasushi as a result. Both girls pouted before looking at each other and smirking as if they had thought of a very nasty plot. Yasushi immediately backed away cautiously, having a bad feeling about those two as the source inched closer. Before anyone could react, the two impish sisters pounced on the bluenette to the ground.

"Wait, what," Yasushi struggled under the hold of Suzume, who was seated in front of him, while Etsuko straddled on his back. "Yasushi, I'm pretty sure that we told you many times that your strength is way stronger than you think, right?" Suzume asked with a rather happy yet wicked smile as she somehow managed to hold Yasushi down with her sheer strength. The rest of the guardians watched the scene with curiosity, not bothering to interfere with them.

"It's punishment time," the raven sister exclaimed, hands reaching to the sides of their victim. Yasushi saw the approaching hands and started struggling even more, fully aware where those are aiming for. Yasushi's cheeks puffed up before letting out a steam of giggles in one go.

"Oh. My. Gosh. Is that Yasushi laughing out loud?" A high, squeaky voice screamed in excitement. Kazuto and his family turned to the source but instead, was stumped by the group of girls who were squealing uncontrollably and rushing in the direction of where Yasushi and two girls are at.

"Yasushi-kun, you actually know how to have emotions, don't you? Kyaaa, a completely new side to you," a girl with eye-catching lime green hair started to fawn over the bluenette and come even closer to them. Suddenly, the girl glared at the Etsuko and Suzume, before she coldly said, "Get off of Yasushi, you swines." And the rest of the girls began to push and pull the two sisters away from what they want to see.

Etsuko, who was taken aback by the prying hands of the wild girls, was shoved roughly by one of the girls and was thrown to the side, sliding along the floor and into a wall. The raven clutched her knee in pain, whimpering silently in pain. Kurami immediately rushed to her aid, completely shocked and unprepared for what was happening.

Suzume, on the other hand, managed to evade most of the offending hand but, she was scratched numerous times by those savages' nails and winced at the throbbing pain before she was finally kicked away at the stomach by the lime green haired girl, sending her far back to the crew.

Kazuto was ready to take action until he felt the wrath boiling inside Yasushi. Realizing the intensity of the silent rage, he backed down letting his brother do what he wants. So did Kyouya and Masashi.

The shrieking mess was soon reduced to fear-induced one. With a massive bloodlust leaking out of Yasushi, the crowd froze in terror, fearing what the bluenette could possibly do to them.

But the girls were lucky today. Saved by the school bell, they fled back to their own classrooms.

Yasushi clenched his fists, shaking with fury and indignation. "Yasu, calm down. They're gone now," Masashi tried to pacify his angry brother, but in any case, he understands his brother's rage.

"Ow ow ow oowwww," Etsuko's howl of pain caught Yasushi's awareness, converting his outrage to pure worries. Rushing over to Etsuko's side, he found out that the raven had sprained her leg when she was shoved off onto the ground. Once again, he felt rage over boiling in him, this time, he did not let it get into him and without thinking, proceed to activate his moon flames in order to heal his sister's injury.

"Yasushi, stop right now," Kazuto, who was tending to Suzume, commanded when he realized what the other was going to do. Yasushi turned to him in confusion before grasping the meaning of his boss' words. Yasushi muttered an apology before backing off.

Kazuto sighed and helped Suzume up, it was a relief that the other victim of the mob was not as seriously injured. Nevertheless, there was still blood drawn from the long and sharp nails. Everyone in the Famiglia knew that Suzume has a low tolerance for pain. Kazuto took her arms and examined the wounds, only to realize what it's far worse than he expected, with blood flowing down from the nail marks, the boss estimated that the wound was at least a centimeter deep, this evoked a flame in Kazuto as he watched the blood flowed freely onto the ground. Soothing his agitated heart down, he instructed, "I'll bring Suzume and Etsuko to the infirmary to get them treated. The rest of you go back to your class and explain why you're late. If you see any girls that see involved in this incident..." Kazuto's word trailed off, everyone's eyes looked sharply towards his direction as though they were all waiting for that one word.

"As much as I want to kill them. Don't touch them at all."

The boys immediately protested with all their might upon hearing that, even though they understood why their boss issued such an absurd and unfair order, but it is just too outrageous to let the culprits go free without any punishment. As the heated opposition was going on, Kurami remained silent, visibly distressed as she held onto the two other girls' hands firmly.

The brunet huffed a sigh and continued, "I know you guys are upset, I am too. But, we can always deal with this at a later time, we have more important matters on our hands." Reluctantly, the guardians nodded and left for their classes.

With Etsuko on his back, Kazuto and Suzume made their way to treat their wounds.

"Excuse me," Kazuto said softly, hoping to not disturb anyone in the infirmary. There was a sound of chair wheel rolling against the wall before a chair could be seen from a connected room, sliding into the main room, an ash-gray colored hair man was sitting on the wrong side, body completely leaning on the back of the chair. The man spoke in a weird but light accent, "How can I help you."

Kazuto blinked at the lazy man, easily concluding that the doctor's Italian nationality from his accent. Showing the doctor the girl on his back, he said, "Sorry Sensei, my sister fell and sprained her knee and my older sister here." He moved aside to let Suzume in before continuing, "was scratched deeply by a feral cat."

The doctor nodded and signaled Kazuto to lay Etsuko down on the bed prepared, he passed some bandages, medicines and ointments to the brunet, letting him treat the other injured one as he tended to the raven's sprain.

Kazuto speedily but skillfully treated and wrapped Suzume's wounds, however, some of the scratches were really deep and horrible that the doctor had to treat them with his sun flames before wrapping it up.

"Sensei, how's her sprain? Is it bad?" Kazuto asked, voice filled with concern and worries, he peered over to see the doc slowly moving and bending one of Etsuko's leg down until the raven started to whimper in pain. "A grade 2 sprain," he diagnosed. "This should be able to heal in 1 week times with the help of sun flames, do your famiglia have a sun flame user?" He asked, glancing at the boss.

Kazuto nodded in response and smugly thought, 'we have a way better healing flame though.' Suzume chuckled upon reading the rascal's thought, fully agreeing with the brunet's thinking.

With some painkillers down in Etsuko's stomach, they waited for the drug to take effect. They waited quietly at the mini ward, cautious about the doctor who was lazing around, they did not know who he was and why was he chosen to be the doc of this school but, they were clearly not seeing any qualities in him that would fetch him this important job.

Feeling uneasy, Kazuto called out, "Sensei?" The doctor's attention switched from the clock to the brunet, and said shortly, "Name's Toyoru." This made the boss realized that he did not even know the doc's name in the first place but, nonetheless the name did not spark any clues on who he was. After pondering momentarily, he continued on what he wanted to say, "Toyoru-sensei, how did you become the doctor of this school?"

The medical teacher raised an eyebrow at the sudden question and answered, "I was supposed to be a surgeon for Nanimori general hospital, but at that time, I kinda disobeyed the law and operate on a woman, who was on the verge of death, without any permission given. But you know. Laws are laws, and something we should obey. I was stripped off my license and became jobless but that was when the school decided to hire me. As for the woman, she's alright." His eyes gazed over to the window as he finished his little tale.

Kazuto was pleasantly surprised at the story he just heard, deeming the doc as a good person, he remembered about an article he read long ago, about an Italian surgeon, confirming the story.

A sinister smirk surfaced on the boss' face as he darkly thought, 'he's gonna be useful in the future.'

Bidding farewell to the doctor, they left the infirmary, again with Etsuko on his back, Suzume and he paced along the corridors and back to their classrooms.

"Suzu-nee, will you be okay?" Kazuto asked worriedly, gazing at the bandage on her arms. Suzume smirked devilishly and teased, "Oya, how cute~ Concerned for your big sister?"

The brother smirked back and swished his head to the side, arms crossed, " if you're talking such bullshit already, you're definitely fine." Suzume giggled wholeheartedly, before going up the stairs to her class. Kazuto told Suzume that her teacher, Fon, is a very understanding teacher so she should not have any problems explaining to him. But the problem now was... his very own teacher, Reborn.

Throughout his years with Reborn, punctuality was one of his strictest teachings. Even if there is a reason, he rarely accepts any other than huge injuries like a broken leg or somewhere along those lines. A grade 2 knee sprain would most probably an acceptable excuse.

Sighing heavily, he stood in front of his classroom door, with the Etsuko's help of opening the door, he was ready to step aside to avoid gunshots. However, there was none fired, instead, a familiar blond stood at the teacher's desk.

Relieved that he doesn't have to deal with guns and bullets. He explained that Etsuko had fell and sprained her knee, receiving full understanding from the teacher.

Much to his dismay, the raven teacher chose to appear at the worse time possible and crashed his hopes. Or at least, that was what he expected.

"Sorry Iemitsu, having you to cover for me again because I overslept again," Reborn apologized sleepily, the other shook in understanding but he wore a sad expression.

Kazuto held his shock in, 'Reborn overslept? Well. Life changing.' He peeked at the time on his phone and was even more appalled that Reborn had actually overslept enough to miss a whole period.

'Is the world ending?'

The raven teacher turned to Kazuto and Etsuko and gave his injured student a scan before asking whether she wanted to rest instead.

Kazuto narrowed his eyes as he realized how tired looking Reborn is. From heavy eye bags to a pale complexion, his posture was slightly slouched to one leg, his clothes had more wrinkles than normal, his onyx eyes wandering off every few seconds and once in a while he would sway off balance, and top of that, he looked completely defenseless and ready to faint anytime. If Kazuto didn't live with Reborn for years, he would have definitely missed all those little details.

'Something is definitely wrong.'

Despite all that, lessons went as per normal with Kazuto sleeping and not paying attention while answering all the questions thrown at him correctly. A small smirk was imprinted on the brunet's face throughout the whole lesson as his teacher got more frustrated with him. Kazuto glanced around the room, noting down that the Vongola gang isn't here. Etsuko looked questionably at Kazuto, who was fidgeting around restlessly before snickering at him when she realized that her boss looked extremely bored out and that his head was bobbing around. It was not long before Kazuto had his whole face buried in his arms, completely knocked out from the ultimate combo of sleep deprivation and boredom.

"I'll be handing out your test paper," Reborn announced, holding onto a stack of papers. "There are two people who scored full marks so do give them their deserved applause, I'll be giving them out last."

As the papers get issued out, Etsuko restricted herself from laughing out loud as she watched the brunet completely dead on the table.

"I'll now announce the full mark scorers, Ozawa Etsuko and Ozawa Kazuto," he revealed the winners, the class clapped energetically for the two as Reborn walked to them to give them back the papers.

"Thanks," Etsuko said softly with a hint of egotism dwelling in her voice as she received back her perfect paper, with a quick scan through it, she placed it on and focused on the two next to her.

"Kazuto," the teacher called, shaking the sleeping brunet lightly. Etsuko smirked, taking the once in a blue moon chance of throwing her boss under the bus, "Reborn-sensei, he hardcore gamed until late night yesterday."

"Oh? And now he's sleeping in my class," Reborn said in low voice, eyes glinting dangerously, he walked back to the blackboard and picked up a chalk piece. Everyone could predict what the raven teacher is about to do, which happens right after. The chalk flew across the class, and into the crown of the sleeping beauty's head, dispersing into particles.

"Oooow," the brunet instantly woke up, hollering at the pain, pressing his hand over the sore part. His teacher smirked in triumph, finally able to punish his inattentive student, "Kazuto, meet me outside after class."

Upon hearing that, the brunet cursed under his breath and groaned tiredly as his sister next to him cried tears from laughing too much.

It was not long before the bell rang for the break between regular classes and division classes. Reborn closed his textbook and debriefed the class, "Be sure to have a moderate lunch before you go to your division classes. And don't be late." With that, the student left to eat.

"Kazuto."

The named brunet winced inwardly as he stood by the door, Etsuko left him to rot to death by ditching him the moment the class was dismissed. She rather ran away in pain than to stay and listen to the demon teacher's scolding.

"As much as I want to appreciate your smartness, it would be better if you pay attention in class," Reborn started, slightly displeased that the student was still in a state of daze. "Respect your teachers, you brat," the raven teacher popped a vein, remembering the despicable behavior towards the ex-Arcobaleno Boss and took the brunet's test paper, using it as a weapon to smack his head.

However, the height difference between the two was too great that the hitman had to tiptoe, though that made it too obvious for Kazuto on what he wanted to do.

Seizing his wrist, Kazuto lifted the petite hand up, much to Reborn's dismay.

'Thin,' Kazuto noted as he watched the teacher struggled to keep a steady grounding by tiptoeing with a playful smirk. Reborn snarled at how easily he was overpowered by his grips and struggled even more.

That was until, his normally tightened sleeves rolled down, revealing everything on the skin to the brunet.

Their breath stopped.

Reborn's parted lips quivered as he was stunned by his own careless mistake of not fastening his sleeves when he was rushing out, which had led to this disastrous consequence.

Kazuto's eyes were glued to his exposed arm as he stood rooted to the ground, taking in what was on his tutor's once flawless arm.

Vandalized with injection scars, nail marks, bite marks and bruises, he noticed that a few of those were still fresh among the hundreds as if it had just happened recently.

With a lump in his throat, he asked softly, voice evidently wavering, "What's all this about? Why do you have such... scars?"

Reborn gritted his teeth and did not answer him as he tried to shake his hand free with all his might.

But, the grip on his wrist only tightened to a painful one.

"Ka-Kazuto, let go of me," Reborn shuttered, clearly flustered at the situation. This only worsened the brunet's mood. The teacher once again tried to escape the grasp but to no avail, he was unable to. It was very clear to Kazuto that Reborn doesn't have the strength that he used to have, in fact, it was a huge margin between the past and the present. In his head, he began to think about the possibilities of why do Reborn have those scars, and all of them were drawn to the same conclusion,

Federico.

With many scenarios of what the guy could have done to his tutor in his head, he could not ignore the fact that Reborn looked extremely vulnerable and was whimpering from the extreme pain. He finally realized that he was hurting the raven and instantly released the hand. Immediately, he noticed that he had grazed off a part of Reborn's skin. Clutching on his bleeding wrist, he glared at his attacker and wanted to flee immediately but, his escape route was quickly sealed by the brunet's hand slamming onto the walls on both sides, towering over him.

"Who did this to you," Kazuto demanded in a sharp, dark voice. The raven shook his head stubbornly, keeping his mouth sealed. Giving an unimpressed look, he answered himself instead, "It's Federico, right." He observed Reborn stiffening up at the name and looked away, unable to deny what he had assumed.

"Why did he did this?" He interrogated again. This time, the other shut his eyes, his voice quavered with distress, "It's none of your business."

This made Kazuto infuriated, "Reborn."

"Please stop," the shaking raven pleaded shakily, hugging himself in fear, causing intense worry from Kazuto. "Don't meddle into my life. You said it yourself."

The brunet did not say anything in response to his words and removed his hands from the walls. Instead, he gently took the other arm of the raven and discovered more scars on it, he contained his anger in this time. Bringing the hand up to his face and ignoring the horrified expression on the other's face, he sniffed one of the newer wounds and got whiff of a familiar drug scent and a few other ones. With an expressionless face, he left the room without another word, leaving the raven alone to calm down.

Reborn listlessly slid down the wall and hugged himself into a pitiful ball as his figure trembled uncontrollably.

"Tsu..na..."

Kazuto paced along the corridor, mind deep in thoughts.

'There was a smell of several different illegal drugs and the distinct smell of aphrodisiac.'

Biting down on his lips, aphrodisiac could only mean one thing and it was definitely not something good.

'It can't be right?' he tried convincing himself that it was not what he thinks it is, but it was all in vain. That distinct smell, he had countless encounters with that scent when he broke into bases during assassinations. Thus, there was no way he could get it wrong. Those bite marks only reinforced the answer.

'What the fuck happened when I was gone? What did Federico do to him? Is there other victims other than him?' Questions started to flood in as his pacing became faster and faster. His lips formed ia hin line as even more vicious thoughts joined.

'And also why are they still there? He could have healed them up with his flames. My xxx-burner, according to Kurami, had landed on him, but it isn't there without any traces. So why didn't he heal those marks?"

Suzume, who was ordered by the others to find Kazuto, spotted him and skipped to her boss, only to get ignored by the brunet who was too engrossed in his thoughts. Reading some, she realized what was the problem.

"Reborn and Federico," Suzume stated slowly, snapping the boss out of his thoughts. She gazed sadly into the brunet's eyes and continued, "Their relationship is rather... stained black."

Kazuto clenched his teeth and fists in response, feeling the heat rising within him.

"I'm not sure whether it's blackmail or just simply force, but what you're thinking right now is happening," Suzume added, face shadowed by her hair. "When I read Federico's thoughts yesterday, he had been testing different types of drug and poison on Reborn and possibly the other ex-Arcobalenos."

Kazuto's eyes widened at the new information, "Poison?"

Suzume nodded and continued, "Doubling it might mean twice the normal dosage he had been giving or double the duration."

"And regarding the aphrodisiac..." Suzume trailed off, not wanting to touch on the topic.

"I know. There's only one use for it after all."

The two kept silent as they could only stare at the ground.

Kazuto suddenly started to punch the wall next to him, again, and again, causing the other to panic and try to soothe his outraged actions. Blood started to trickle down his fist, splatting onto the wall and his shirt with each punch. Stunned by his actions, Suzume watched her boss took his overwhelming anger out on the wall, inflicting pain on himself as if he was the reason why all this was happening. She called softly to the self-destructive brunet, but it was to no avail, the other could not hear her, completely taken over by his emotions.

"Kazuto!" Suzume raised her voice, startling him out of his fit. His knuckles horribly bruised and torn, blood oozing out of his wounds, his face was still red from fury. When Kazuto finally saw how worried her sister was, most of his emotions warded off as guilt filled his heart. "Sorry, Suzu-nee..."

"No, I understand your feelings..." Suzume spoke quietly and took out her handkerchief to wipe the blood off her boss' hand. "Do you want me to keep silent about this?"

Kazuto nodded, not wanting to expose his ex-tutor anymore, his eyelids lowered as he gazed out to the stairs to spot a certain raven descending down the stair with heavy steps, visibly shaken by what had occurred, he even missed a step and almost lost his balance, startling both himself and Kazuto. The brunet was about to rush to him but stopped when he remembered what Reborn said.

With his nails digging into his palms, he turned his back and walked away, "Let's go Suzu-nee."

Suzume glanced between Kazuto and Reborn anxiously before running to catch up with her boss.

The two walked unspeakingly, it was all silent until they joined the rest of their famiglia at their usual resting area.

The family was fast to catch on, it was definitely not hard to, considering the expression that their boss making. A completely blacked face, brimming with suppressed murderous emotions.

Kyouya, who could care less about the suffocating atmosphere, straightforwardly questioned, "So what happened?"

The rest of the guardians twitched at the frankness, praying that it won't make their boss snap.

Kazuto let out a long, heavy sigh, as he calmed himself and sat on the ground, in front of his famiglia.

"I can't say yet, at least for now, I will not disclose any information yet, I don't have evidence nor do I have time for this," The brunet solemnly stated, however, the last part of his words shocked Suzume.

"Nor do I have time for this, you said?" Suzume repeated, eyes wide with disbelief and disappointment. Her voice became louder and continued, "Do you realized what you have just said? What Reborn had gone thro-"

"I know."

A chilling wave of gust was burst from the brunet, his face hooded over.

"And I'm not planning to throw that aside either."

This immediately made the enraged girl relieved, that her boss didn't become a completely cold, heartless person.

"However, I have to push this back. As for now, our first priority is solving the rebound of lifting Arcobalenos curse," he explained.

He turned to Suzume and grinned, "Thank you Suzu-nee, for worrying about me and Reborn." Suzume looked up in astonishment at the sudden thanks. A serene smile spread along her face as she shook her head, "I just did what I should have done."

Kazuto and her exchanged small smiles.

"Kurami," The brunet signaled to her to come closer. Kurami leaned over as he whispered into her ears.

"Kurami, when you saw the injury that I had inflicted on Reborn, did you notice scars of any sort other than that on his arms?" Kazuto whispered. Kurami withdrew back and blinked in confusion, she dug around her memories before snapping her fingers.

"I did," she said softly, she tilted her head to one side as she thought harder, trying to remember the image of the hitman's arms. "I'm sure that it's just battle scars though, there's a huge slash scar on his chest as well after all," she informed.

"Eh?" Kazuto blurted out in shock. 'Who did it? Federico? An enemy?'

The corner of Suzume's lips twitched as she hesitated to confess her doings. Fortunately for her, the conversation moved on.

"What are the scars on his arms looked like?"

Kurami squinted in concentration and squeezed out any other details, "All I remembered is that other than the slash scar, the other scars are mostly in a round shape. Oh ya, there was also bruises all over his entire body."

That evidence was enough to support Kazuto's speculation and what he had feared.

Blinking in frustration, he finally turned and faced the rest, who had gotten a grasp of the current situation.

"I don't know what's the full story, but, I trust you Kazuto," Masashi smirked, his hair swishing elegantly in the wind as he stretched his body to loosen up. Yasushi nodded in agreement, playing quietly with a rabbit, which had hopped out of a bush a second ago, a small smile etched on his face.

Etsuko snickered mischievously as she swung her uninjured leg freely, "Kazu is keeping secrets again. For goodness' sake, when will this little runt stop getting into trouble."

"Don't want to hear that from you, kiddo," Kazuto retorted, laughing. There was a strong bump of a fist to the top of his head, he looked up to see Kurami with her usual motherly expression.

"I agree with the kiddo for once," the blonde giggled lightly when the other gave her an offended look. Her fingers glided through his silky brown hair. "But, no matter what trouble it is, we always will support you from the back," she rested her head on the nest hair as she affectionately snuggled the brunet. The brunet purred back at the sensation before looking at Kyouya in anticipation.

Kyouya caught the dazzling look directed at him and teasingly kept quiet, looking away much to the brunet's dismay. Kazuto sulked, sending a pair of pleading eyes to the raven, which had no visible effect, or that was what he thought. Only a certain mind reader knew what's really going on inside the raven's mind.

The raven male jerked from his seat as the other leaned closer to him and rested his head on his lap. "The same old you huh, Kyouya... I'm so glad," Kazuto mumbled inaudibly, eyes closed as he reminisced about the past.

Unknown to him, Kyouya's mind was already far away. Face flushed, mouth gapped in shock, his body jolting at the slightest movement the brunet made as his hand floated above the other's head, debating whether he should give in to his desire or hold onto his pride.

The rest of the Famiglia watched while wearing a teasing smirk, enjoying the romance drama unfolding in front of them. As time ticks by, the raven started to get more and more flustered at the situation, his face completely red from embarrassment. It wasn't long before someone started cracking up out loud.

"Alright Kazuto, we better start snacking before the bell goes off, and before someone gets a fever," Kurami chuckled and started giving out the lunch boxes, Kyouya gave her a weak snarl and caught his bento, though Kazuto remained oblivious.

Everyone cheered at the lunch boxes, knowing that Kurami was the one who cooked them. There were no doubts in her cooking skills, definitely on par with world-class chefs. "Yassah! Salisbury Steak Hamburger! My favorite!" Kazuto cheered excitedly as the others joined the cheer when they discovered that all their bentos were their favorites."

"Heh heh, you guys are very lucky that we are able to get any kind of ingredients here. And there are leftover cookies from yesterday," Kurami informed, making the rowdy atmosphere even more hyped up. Nudging the redhead beside her for attention, and continued, "and macarons as well."

"Kura-nee, you're the best!" Masashi roared as he saw the blonde took out a paper bag filled with their favorite sweets.

"Itadakimasu!" They hollered in union as they gobbled down their meal. After they ate finish, the family chatted the rest of the time off until a few minutes before the bell rings for the next period.

Now with Yasushi carrying Etsuko this time, they make their way to the division hall. A building that they had not seen or visited before, it's located in a corner of the land far away from other facilities.

"Hugeeee!" Etsuko squealed loudly, flapping her arms abruptly at the building causing Yasushi to stumble around before ticking him off. "Stop. Moving," He growled warningly and threw his head back to connect with the girl's head on his back. "Owww..." The now in pain girl groaned with a bump on her head.

The rest of them laughed at the sudden entertainment but had to agree with the girl.

"Damn right it's huge," Masashi whistled in amusement as he jogged up to the entrance.

Kazuto nodded in agreement and added, "I can see why it's enough to hold different divisions in one place."

With excitement constrained in their hearts, the automatic door opens. Greeted by a sudden change of atmosphere of different activities happening all at once as compared to its quiet exterior. Most students were warming up and ready to take on the challenges that will be thrown at them later.

The Famiglia exchanged a smug smirk with each other,

'Time to show off.'

A/N: It took 2 years for me to update, 2 YEARS. I cry for my efficiency.

You don't have to read this (v) if you want.

I started this story 4 years ago when I was just 13 as an attempt to improve my language, there wasn't a foundation plot for this story at all. Therefore, I made many mistakes and plot holes here and there, this really make me want to rewrite everything from scratch, but I decided that I will do this at a later time.

During the 2 years, things were really hard for me. And during a period of time, I got depressed from the stress, my mind was just in a mess that I couldn't continue this. But, I couldn't forget about my ocs either, I begun drawing them for fun once in a while, and because of that, I grew attached to them. Slowly, I turned back to writing fanfics and my depression started to go away.

However, there are still lingering remnants of it left and my ideas became more sinister as well.

In future chapters, there might be more trigger warnings and there's a possibility where I will be moving this story to another domain where it can be shown at. I know this might put off some of readers but, I want to vent some of my frustrations somewhere so I hope that you can forgive me for this.

In my previous chap, my past self said that my readers are dead then, I snorted when I read that cause, LOOK AT ME NOW HAHAHAHA *Gets slapped*

If in any miracle, there are still readers waiting for me to update this, I sincerely apologize for being such a bad author and thank you for still reading.

I hope that you enjoyed this chapter and R&R as always.
