Blaise Zabini studied the letter in his hand for the umpteenth time in the day, his mother's long slanting words and her crisp manner of communication with no frills attached was nothing new to Blaise even though he barely received letters from the woman, she wrote exactly like she talked… carefully, as if she was choosing each word, weighing its impact and delivering it in the sharpest manner possible. She was Slytherin through and through but her magic wasn't just learnt at Hogwarts, her magic was something deeper, more powerful, and sinister.
Maura Adrieux was a curious mix of Creole and Asian with a little Irish thrown in for good measure. With smooth, dark skin the color of warm chocolate and tilted eyes the color of shining emeralds, her face and beautiful body belied her age. Her hair rippled like dark kinked silk and her full mouth and delicate build prompted people to try and protect her but Blaise knew better it wasn't men who needed to protect his mother; it was men who needed to be protected against his mother. He had kept his father's name; something that greatly disappointed his mother who looked to be the most innately sensual and sexual woman in existence but was in reality extremely dispassionate.
Maura wasn't shy and Blaise had grown up surrounded by legions of admiring men who worshipped at his beautiful mother's feet but she had made sure he knew exactly what she thought of men. She called them her toys and each time one broke, she'd go out to get a brand new one.
Blaise glared down at the letter that held some extremely disturbing news, something that could mean the end of their hard won peace and fragile relationship with the rest of the wizarding community. Slytherin's had always been mistrusted before the war but they had held powerful government positions and were wealthy so that dislike hadn't been an overt as it was now, now when most of the corrupt officials had been hanged and strict actions had been taken against anyone involved with the Dark Side during the second war. And his mother never shared her secrets unless it benefits her somehow.
Morgana's Clan, Merlin thought Blaise a shudder making its way down his back. That sounded ominous.

I apologize profusely for not uploading but I can't do much about it as I have my 'A' Levels. This is a little preview of what is going to be happening in the Game, the story is taking a new direction and everything is going to tie up together nicely. I know what I've been doing is not cool but wow thank you so much for your support! 500 followers and I love each and every single one of you for sticking by the story! As you can see I'll be introducing some lesser knows characters, I enjoyed the reaction people were having to Astoria and as someone said that usually though they exist in the story they have no part so I want to expand to some more characters who I feel are going to add a whole new dimension to the story. How you enjoy where it goes.
