Hello there loves! Here is another chapter. Gasp! I know, right? It's kind of slow at work right now so I will hopefully be able to update regularly for the next few weeks. Also, I just wanted to get this chapter out and be done with. I feel like the last 10 chapters have been on the same 2 episodes (I know they haven't but it feels like it). Anyway, Reviews are always welcome and let me know how I'm doing. Love you all!

Kyle was helping Gemma pack the rest of the valuable things to put in the basement when she heard the faint noise of yelling. Tara had been with Jax in the basement organizing and she assumed they were getting into an argument. Tara had told Kyle on the way down that Jax was pulling away from her and not telling her much about club business even if she wanted to know. Did Kyle want to know? Did she really? It sounded nice to have full disclosure and tell each other everything- she never got that with Joseph – but those were different circumstances. As far as Kyle could tell, bad things that could get her into trouble with the law were happening with this club and she wasn't sure she wanted to know. Sure, they had one night where Happy told her exactly what he did for the club but she had told him that she didn't want to know unless he wanted to tell her. Was that what she still wanted? She didn't know.

A huff from Gemma brought her back from her thoughts and she proceeded to pick up a box and follow Gemma to the basement.

"Got a few more" Gemma stated walking down the basement steps. She and Kyle had set the boxes down on top of each and looked up at Jax to him staring at his mother in disbelief. "What?"

Jax took a step back before realization hit them when they looked at the empty wheelchair with duct tape still on the arms. Tara told.

Gemma sighed and Kyle held her breath. This was not good. "Shit."

"What happened?" Jax asked looking at his mom and then over to Kyle.

Kyle looked over at Gemma who gave Tara a look. Kyle heard footsteps and turned around to see Tig coming down with Clay behind him.

"We gotta go" Clay stated halfway down the stairs.

"I'm dealing with something." Jax stated sharply.

"So are Bobby and Piney." Tig replied.

No one said a word and Kyle stared at Tara who had turned around, presumably to wipe tears.

"Apparantly," Jax piped up "Our lovely ladies whacked the caretaker," Kyle closed her eyes. "And this idiot," he continued pointing to Tig, "helped them".

Kyle turned around to look at Clay who looked at Tig. "What?"

"Actually, I just made a phone call" Tig replied. Kyle looked around again at everyone. She figured she should stay quiet at this point. Her 'old man' wasn't hear and she hoped that if no one heard her, they would forget she had anything to do with it. Fat chance.

"Jesus Christ." Clay muttered. "This," he pointed to the three ladies, "later." He said before walking up the stairs and muttering "Let's go."

Jax followed suit and muttered "Douchebag" without a look back and Kyle rubbed both hand over her face.

The three ladies looked at each other in guilt before Tig made his way between Gemma and Kyle.

"What happened to, 'oh we can't tell Jax about anything?' You three are killing me!" and with that, he ran upstairs to follow his brothers.

"How in the hell did this come out?" Gemma asked Tara once she heard the front door slam.

"I'm sorry." Tara exclaimed rubbing her head. "I just lost it." She moved to sit in the wheelchair and Kyle shivered. Sure, the girl didn't die in that chair but it was weird. "I don't know what he wants anymore."

"What do you want?" Gemma asked walking over to the bed beside Kyle and sitting down. The dead body had been on that bed! How gross. Kyle stayed where she was at and leaned against the box in front of her.

"I just want to be closer. I want to go with you to Vancouver." Kyle guessed Gemma really was going to Canada then.

"No." Gemma stated. "that's a bad idea. If Jax goes away for that church assault -" Kyle didn't hear anything else after that.

Jax was going to go away for the church assault? The assault that everyone got sent to jail for, including Happy? Happy had not told her about the possibility of going away for that. Isn't that what bail was for? Joseph was the lawyer, not her but it didn't make any sense to her. She had the conversation with Happy that he didn't need to tell her anything unless he wanted to tell her, but didn't that mean he would tell her if he was going to prison?!

Kyle looked at Gemma and then Tara before shaking he head and running upstairs. She ran into her room and located her cell phone dialing Happy's number.

She called a few times with no answer before the phone picked up.

"Can't talk right now, girl. Call you later" Happy yelled before hanging up the phone.

Kyle huffed in annoyance. Of course, when she needed to speak to Happy he was unavailable. She hoped he wasn't a part of the problem Clay had stated earlier with Bobby and Piney.

Tara interrupted her thoughts. "Hey, are you okay?" she asked walking into the room finding Kyle sitting on the bed.

"yeah, are you?" she asked. The redness around her eyes indicated that she had been crying.

"It's nothing." Tara brushed off. "Gemma wants to come to drop off Nate."

Kyles eye widened. "Are you sure that's a good idea?"

Tara shook her head, "She's going to come whether we want her to or not." Kyle nodded. "I'm going to get Nate ready and then we should get out of here." Kyle nodded again and watched Tara walk out of the room. She huffed and looked around the room before grabbing her bags and loading them into the car.

It was a solemn drive to the home. When they got there, Tara had gone inside to get everything set up while Gemma, Nate and Kyle sat outside.

Kyle could not imagine the hurt Gemma was going through when Nate started pleading with her to go home and Tara took him inside. Sure, Kyle wasn't amazingly fond of her parents, but they were still her parents and she would be wrecked if she ever had to do something like that.

She gave Gemma a hug and kissed her cheek. "I'm going to the restroom." She stated looking up at the older women.

Gemma nodded. "I'll be right here." Kyle smiled and walked inside to find the restroom.

The attendant at the front desk pointed her in the right direction and when she went inside she headed straight for the mirror. She looked pretty ragged if she did say so herself. He mascara was transferring to her bottom lash line and she could see the faintest bags form. She huffed and grabbed a tub of concealer from her bag hoping to hide the darkness. Stress. That's was what this was. She huffed and continued her work to look presentable. Satisfied with the clean up she headed into one of the stalls to relieve herself.

When Kyle walked outside she found Tara standing in the middle of the street with her arms up.

"What's going on?" she asked walking up to her.

"Gemma took off" Tara exclaimed.

Kyle's eyes widened, "What do you mean she took off?"

"I walked outside when I was finished with Nate and she wasn't here. Took off with the car."

"Shit." Kyle muttered. "Should we call Jax and Clay?"

"Already did. They should be here in a few minutes."

With that, the familiar rumble of motorcycles cut the air and the faces that were getting all too familiar were entering the parking lot.

Happy was one of them. Kyle wasn't sure how to act. She had just helped kill someone and then found out he was potentially going to prison – something he neglected to tell her. Did she act like everything was normal for right now? She was good at that, good at putting on a happy face. She decided to do just that, they needed to figure out this Gemma situation before any deep conversations between them happened.

"What happened?' Jax asked pulling up to the girls.

"She just took off" Tara yelled above the engine.

"What do you mean she took off?" Clay piped from the other side. Kyle made a face. This was the exact conversation they had 5 minutes ago.

"I went inside to check in Nate and when I cam back Gemma and the car were gone."

"What about you?" Clay asked nodded his head in Kyle's direction.

Kyle looked at Happy who nodded, "I, um, was in the restroom."

Clay scoffed, and his head lolled back. "Did she say anything?"

"No." Tara answered.

"She was crying when we left her. Nate was begging her to take him home. It broke her heart." Kyle finished for her.

Kyle looked over at Happy again hoping he would come over to her, but he stayed where he was.

"Jesus. She went home." Jax declared. "She went to see her family."

"Abel." Clay stated before getting on his bike and revving the engine and pulling out.

Tara looked at Kyle before taking the helmet Jax had offered her. She sighed and took it before getting on.

"Girl." Kyle looked to her side to find Happy with his helmet offered to her as well. She looked at him defeated and walked over to him, grabbing the helmet and sitting on the edge of the bike. She just hoped that her dress didn't ride up with the wind. And with that, they were off to Charming in hopes to catch Gemma before she noticed Abel was not where everyone said he was.

When they passed the WELCOME TO CHARMING sign. Kyle's legs were numb. The rumble from the engine making her lose feeling. They only had about 15 minutes left and Kyle couldn't selfishly help in wishing she could get off. She was cold in her dress and she was pretty sure her heels were ruined.

Turing the corner into TM, Kyle could see Gemma standing in the middle of the parking lot and the she collapsed.

Jax rushed over along with Clay and the other Members. Happy swiftly parked and grabbed Kyle off the bike to go over.

"Mom, breathe, breathe." Jax kept saying while holding his mothers head up from the ground. "Tara!" he yelled turning his head and looking for his girlfriend.

"I'm calling the ambulance." Kyle stated before grabbing her cell phone and dialing the emergency number.

After a few minutes, they got Gemma to calm down but it still wasn't enough and the ambulance pulled into the driveway.

The EMT's had everyone clear before grabbing Gemma and putting her onto a stretcher.

"She has a heart defect." Jax told them as the pulled her into the back of the vehicle. The EMT nodded and Clay jumped in with them.

Kyle grabbed Happy's hand tightly as he stood behind her and watched the events. When the ambulance pulled away, everyone resumed their positions on the bikes and headed in suit to the hospital.

It was going to be a long sleepless night.
