Lana POV
It's been three months since Selena came to train with us. Odin insisted on teaching her rune magic. At first, she had a hard time to wrap her mind around it. But soon she began displaying a good amount of potential. Two weeks after Selena had begun rune magic, Odin tested her. He wanted to fin if she had her mother's gift, of breaking rune magic. Selena didn't believe it. She was adamant that she only had the powers that came from her father. However, I felt something within her. Something very powerful. It also dawned on both Selena and I that she was in fact a full god. The first, that we know of, who were born to both the Greek and the Nordic gods. She defied the rules placed among the different pantheons.
"Selena focus your will into the magic, feel it and mould it into the shape of your will" Odin bellowed at Selena. Selena stood hands in front of her. Her beautiful green eyes hidden under her eyelids. I always found myself starring at her. Something kept drawing me to her.
Selena yells out and suddenly lighting swirls in front of her. Sweat trickle down the side of her face. She gasps for air, clearly out of breath.
"Well done, girl" Odin pats Selena on her back as he compliments her. Suddenly Huginn, the white raven swoops in and land of Odin's shoulder.
"Girls I think it's time" Odin said. Selena and I looked at each other.

"Are you sure, you two have all you need?" my mother asked. "Yes mother, don't worry we'll be fine" I said, before giving her a hug. "You be careful now, you hear? And you Selena, I hope you bring back your mother safely" she said before giving her a hug, and whispering something in her ear. I couldn't hear what but Selena's face was red.
I grabbed her hand and led her out of my mother's hall. Outside Sleipnir stood waiting. As soon as we were out he went to Selena who patted his head. "He says we wants to come with us, that we need him to save my mother" she said as she looks at me. "Well guess we're taking him with us then" I said smiling. It would be much easier to travel with Sleipnir than on foot.
We climbed onto him and took off. Sleipnir didn't run at full speed yet. "Don't worry Selena we can do this" I said. Selena turned her head back and looked at me with a small smile. "Yeah, but I can't help feeling uneasy. I mean my brother probably felt the same before he became the badass that I got to know, but I feel that I'll never be like him, and that because of that my mother…" she started before I cut her off. "No Selena, you and Percy are different, don't compare yourself to him, I know he would have faith in your abilities and I have faith in you. You are a great woman, strong, smart and oh so beautiful, you will save your mother!" I said sternly. She simply looked into my eyes with a smile, before she leaned in and kissed me. In the time, she had spent here among us, we have kissed quite a lot, and I realized, I need it. I need to kiss her every day.
She finally broke it after what seemed like hours, but were only minutes. "Thank you, Lana for everything" she said as she turned her head back around and leaned back resting against me. I smiled happy to be close to her. Yet somehow, I also knew something would happen on this trip, and we might not like it.
3rd person
The air shimmered and twisted, bending, as if it war breaking apart. The shimmering turned black and started to form a doorway. A girl stepped through the dark portal, following her a young dragon with bright green scales. The girl had one sea green eye and one silver eye, her face covered in freckles. She had the beauty of her mother yet one had said she would grow to be even more beautiful.
"We're here, Shay" the girl said to the dragon. The dragon simply nudged her, encouraging her to continue. She could feel them, they were close. What she didn't know was that one of them could also feel her. The two set out in the direction of their goal.
Lamia PoV
What is that feeling? I thought to myself. I looked in one direction and I felt an odd sensation. There was definitely someone very powerful in that direction, but was it a friend or foe?
"Thalia would you come with me for a moment, I might need your strength?" I asked still looking in the direction of whoever it was I felt.
"Uh.. sure. For what?" she asked, I could hear the confusion in her voice. "I'm not sure yet" I asked and began walking towards the person.
Thalia quickly followed and we walked for a while in silence. Thalia broke the silence "So, what are we looking for?". I turned to look at her "someone very powerful" I said.
Suddenly a girl walked out in front of us. With her followed a small dragon. This was who I was looking for. "Lamia, Thalia?" she said surprised.
"Wait you know us?" I asked. It was now my turn to be surprised. The girl kept looking at us in a strange way. In the corner of my eye I could see Thalia preparing for battle. I put my arm in front of her to stop her. Now that I was this close to the person, I could feel it was a friend.
"It's strange, seeing you like this" she said, her lips forming a smile. I got the feeling she didn't smile much. "You're so young, I guess beauty flowed in both sides of our family" she said as she walked closer and hugged me and Thalia.
"Okay backup, who are you?" Thalia asked. As the girl was about to answer I saw her eyes for the first time and I knew exactly you she was.
"My name is Amelia. I'm the daughter of Percy Jackson and Artemis. And the God of souls." She said her smile looked exactly like the one Percy used to give us.
"My niece" I said.
"And my daughter?" a voice said behind us.
Hope you liked it.
