The Most beautiful card in the world
Malfoy stared at Hermione as she stuffed her face with chicken. She looked so cute, with all the sauce all around her face, scrambling to get a napkin before anyone else saw her. Malfoy chuckled softly. The bell rang, and Hermione jumped up and out of her seat, scrambling to get out to her next class.
Malfoy shoved the rest of his food in his mouth and stumbled out of his seat. He grabbed his bag and shuffled out of the Great Hall and into the boys bathroom. Once he locked the stall door, he opened his bag. (A/N: YES I KNOW THIS SOUNDS WRONG!) Shifting through his school books, he came across a golden envelope. This was the most beautiful card in the world. He had made it himself, during his first year when he first met Hermione. He had been wanting to give it to her forever, but never had the courage. Staring at it with admiration, Malfoy sighed. Gold lettering spelled "Hermione" in wiggly letters. A big heart surrounded it. Malfoy had drawn it himself. It gave him pride to look at it. Yes, this was by far the most beautiful card in the whole world.
"Hermione! Wait!" Malfoy called as he franticly attempted to shut his bag. Hermione was already heading out the door with Potter and Weasley to get to Potions. She turned when she heard her name, curious as to see who was calling her with such urgency.
"Malfoy? What do you want?" She questioned.
"Can I talk to you. alone?" Malfoy stuttered.
"Look, I really need to go to my next class, if you don't mind, say what you have to now."
"I just wanted to give you this." Malfoy handed her the envelope, face down, in hoped of Potter and Weasley not seeing it.
"What is it?" Hermione asked curiously.
"J-just open it." Hermione, sensing his uncomfort, shoooed Harry and Ron away. They did not look happy.
She fumbled with the envelope, and finally opened it. Not believing her eyes, she laughed.
"Nice one Malfoy. Now if you don't mine, I've got more important things to do then read on of your fake love letters." She laughed once more as she stuffed the card clumsily into her bag. Malfoy was so stupid sometimes! Did he really think she was stupid enough to fall for that? His friends would have probably been here at any minute, ready to laugh at her.
Her bag brushed against a wall, and the card tumbled out. A stampede of feet trampled on it, as the bell rang. And there it lay, dirty and forgotten, the most beautiful card in the world.
Well That's it! I don't know whether I should continue or not, I personally like it the way that it is now.
Silverspark- what do you mean by
It's good but c'mon...
"The Most Beautiful Card in the World"??
You should seriously consider renaming the story or something!
I like the name of the story, and I will not consider renaming it just b/c you said I should. Thank you for reviewing
