Chapter 14: Understanding

Allen P.O.V

I always understood my brother, some would said we were even one person, at a time. But I knew that could never be true. We may breath the same air, and be connected in a way most people would never understand. But I was who I am, and he who he is. For me to understand him, he had to understand me.

I love my brother, but I am not the best sister I could be or ever would be. And as I rush him and he fell to the ground, he put me in a position, so I wouldn't be hurt. "Run! I shouted to the others as my brother looked me in eye as I avoid his.

When the house became silent, and there no heart beat except my own my brother spoke. "You seem different." He said with loving smile, even though I had a letter opener to his heart. It was the closing thing to me when I rush him.

"You're so indifferent." I said wishing my tears would suck back in.

"You disappeared, I'm only happy to see you well sister." He said lifting his hand, he brush my tears away with his thump softly. Dropping the letter opener I hug my brother and he sat up with me in his arms. "Did they hurt you." He whispered in my ears.

"Of course they did." I whisper back hugging him tighter.

"I could still kill them all, hang their hearts on wall like trophy, before they start to rot." He said and I lifted off of him, and smiled.

"No, I don't want that." I said brushing his hair back.

Neah then grab my hand and brought it to his face then kiss it. "You look lively Allen, or should I said peachy." He said and I look down and he bump my face back up. "I don't care what you are Allen, you will always be my sister. Do what you want, I won't interfere, but if you need anyone, anything, just remember I'm here for you." He said and we touch foreheads.

"Thank you for not asking questions." I said standing up.

"You will tell me when your ready." Neah said fixing his outfit. He was about to leave, but then turn back. "If you die Allen, I'll make sure ever last person old, sick, women, or children in the rebellion has a long painful death." My brother said before disappearing.

I sat on the chair in front Lenalee desk and toke a deep breath in.

...

Kanda P.O.V

"We should have stay fight." I growled.

"So I should let all of us die, because you prefer to think rash." Lenalee said. There were only about a mile from the house, in a cave, that was set up if a vampire every attack there base. Lenalee sat on the dirt floor, they been out here for 4 hour since the pureblood vampire show up, and Allen held him off.

Lenalee understood that this place was only temporary and if a akuma really wanted to find us it wouldn't take long. "We should head back, no only a few us of should go."

"Are you sure." Lavi asked.

"Of course she is." I said, "I'll go."

"So Will I." Lenalee said, "the rest of you can stay, if we are not back at Sun raise you head to the next point." They nodded their heads.

"I'm going to." The stupid rabbit said.

"Don't hold me back."

"There may not even be a fight." Lenalee said, standing up, the jog straight out the cave. I follow, and so did Lavi.

Getting to the base, I did not expect the white hair beansprout to be standing outside. "I didn't know where to find." The women said, and Lenalee didn't take time to ask what happen.

"What happen?"

"He was my brother, I ask him to leave."

"You didn't kill him." I growled, now he can come back anytime and kill us all.

"You want me to kill my own brother." Her voice held a stale coldness.

"No, I won't force you to kill your own brother." Lenalee said, and I could tell she was thinking of her own brother. "We should go back and retrieve everyone, we can no longer stay here, and should move quickly." She said and we all nodded.
