Ehehe, hey guys...

So, wow, this is crazy late. I'm not going to make excuses, just know that I'm really sad I haven't been able to write much, but I am back with this!

This is a special edition one-shot! Perhaps not as mushy, buuuut... welcome to...

Gamma/!Stalker!Reida

Because hehehe, why not?

Please accept this one-shot with all of my holiday good wishes. Thanksgiving, Christmas, whatever I've missed! Also, Happy New Year! :D And, without further ado, the story!

(...Jk there's a little more ado.)

Gamma was requested by my amazing friend KuraiHaru17! Hope you like it, Haru-chan! :D

Disclaimer: I do not own anything Inazuma Eleven, that honor goes to Level-5. If I did, there'd be another series/season airing right now.

Enjoy !Stalker!Reida! ;)

I hurriedly shoved my books into my school bag and, with fumbling fingers, buckled it shut. I only had ten minutes before the soccer practice started, and I needed to be in position as soon as possible!

No, in case you were wondering, I'm not a member of the soccer club. But Gamma is…

Who is Gamma, you ask? Only the most perfect being on the entire earth. Ever. He's tall… and handsome.. with his super-styled, perfectly gelled light grey hair and his pale complexion. How does he keep his skin so pale, even though he's in the sun all the time? Eh, I dunno! His slate-blue eyes are heavenly, and he is by far the best soccer player around.

He, along with several other students here, were once a part of this huge government organization called El Dorado. They did lots of top-secret stuff, that nobody knows about, but it had to do with soccer and the Second Stage Children. Who I guess decided to become normal, I dunno, but I didn't care about them.

I just cared about Gamma. After they were released from El Dorado's service, many of their child employees came to my school. Eeee, I'm so lucky! Gamma is perfection, and he kinda knows it. He's rather vain, and some people would say conceited, but I mean really, when someone's as amazing as he is, wouldn't they totally be full of themselves? Yes, duh! They're all just jealous. That's gotta be it.

I slung my bag over my shoulder and took off running down the hall, dodging students left and right. Barreling around the corner, I pushed open the door, grunting at the weight. Running down the flight of stairs, I tripped and tumbled down the last four steps.

"Ouch…" I grumbled, standing and surveying the damage to my left knee. "Ah well!" Ignoring the blood and checking my watch, I ran toward the soccer field, searching for my usual tree. Scrambling up the tree, I rummaged in my bag for my camera.

Hearing the soccer team approaching the field, I finally found my camera and wrapped one arm around the tree trunk, and the other held my beloved camera. I loved to watch Gamma play soccer, and often took pictures.

My friends told me I was being a stalker, and I told them to get a life. I-I'm not stalking him! Just because I know his routes to and from school, have his home address memorized, know who all his friends are, know his weekly schedule by heart and have pictures of him all over my computer and the wall in my bedroom does NOT make me a stalker! Ahaha, no way!

I scanned the group of soccer players. There was Alpha, he was from El Dorado, and he almost never talked. Like, ever. It was kinda funny, actually. And Beta, she had blue hair and looked all cutesy, but as they often say, looks can be deceiving. I watched her stomp on Einamu's foot after he said something that must have been insulting, and the boy danced around in pain. Very deceiving.

Orca, Reiza, Medam, Ward. Most of our players were former El Dorado employees. I finally found who I was looking for, and, with a huge grin, lifted my camera to my eye.

Gamma. Ah, he looked so good today! His hair blew slightly in the wind, despite the fact that it was styled to stick straight up in the air. How he makes his hair stick up like that and yet look so soft, I may never know. Settling into my seat in the tree, I watched the soccer team warming up, completely undetected.

The following Tuesday, I was packing up after school and talking to my friend Dhanna, whose locker was right beside mine.

"I'm just saying Reida, that, if you like him so much, you should attempt to get to know him, and not just… stalk him all the time."

I sighed as I shut my locker, lifting my heavy school bag onto my shoulder. "We've had this conversation before, Dhanna. I'm perfectly happy at the moment, and I don't care what you say, I'm not a stalker. Besides…" I trailed off, running a hand through my loose hair as we walked slowly to the exit. "He would never even notice a little nobody like me…"

Dhanna shrugged, "I'm just saying. I've worked with Gamma and known him for a long time, and I think he might actually get along with you. Better than he gets along with Beta, anyway."

I snorted lightly at her comment of the pair's bitter rivalry. "Thanks, Dhanna, but no. For now, at least, I am perfectly content." I pushed open the door to the school, and heard a cry of pain.

"Reida, you hit someone with the door!" Dhanna scolded.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry!" I began apologizing over and over, cursing my clumsy streak. "Are you okay?!"

"Y-Yeah, I'm alright…" The voice spoke, sounding a bit dizzy, and I froze. The victim of my stupidity stepped out from the other side of the door, and I swear I almost fainted.

Of course it had to be Gamma…

"Ah, Gamma!" Dhanna greeted him happily, "Sorry that my friend Reida here smacked you with a door. She can just be clumsy that way!" She grinned and slapped me on the back, which I wasn't expecting. I cried out and stumbled forward, nearly tumbling down the stairs.

"Whoa, careful there." Gamma reached out and grabbed my elbow, chuckling. "Dhanna can be a bit overzealous."

I nodded dumbly, unable to speak. Oh, I was so gonna kill Dhanna later… but my elbow where he had touched me burned strangely, and I crossed my arms uncomfortably. She was a dead-teen.

"Well, I better go get the book I forgot. See you later, Dhanna. It was nice to meet you, Reida." And with those words and a charming smile, he disappeared into the school building.

Giggling uncontrollably, Dhanna put her hands on her hips. "Well? Am I the best friend ever, or what?"

Finally untying my tongue, I fumed at her. "Yeah right! You made me look like an idiot! In front of Gamma!"

Skipping daintily down the stairs, Dhanna shrugged. "You silly girl, of course I didn't!"

Following her a bit less gracefully, I frowned, still angry. "What do you mean?"

Tossing a lock of her straight black hair, she began to explain herself. "Well, first of all, he knows you name now. And that you have personality." She practically purred with pride, "And he touched you. You're welcome~!"

I clenched my teeth, remaining silent. I fought an inner battle between continuing to seethe in anger and being pleased. Had she really done that for those reasons, or were those excuses for her behavior?

"You can still thank me, you know. The offer hasn't expired," Dhanna reminded me playfully.

I shook my head, "I'm not sure I have anything to thank you for…"

"Oh come on, Reida, I just gave you like seven reasons!" Dhanna insisted.

"There were three," I corrected her.

"Details, details." She waved her hand, obviously not caring.

We reached my house, and I sighed. "Whatever." Turning into my gate, I noticed Dhanna following me. Still.

"Um, what are you doing?" I asked her.

"I'm not going to leave you alone until you thank me!" Dhanna announced, putting her hands on her hips.

Rolling my eyes, I muttered sarcastically, "Thanks a lot."

"Hmmm? Couldn't quite hear you!" Dhanna put her hand behind her ear and leaned closer, and I chuckled, leaning right up to her ear.

"THANK YOU! NOW GO AWAY!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Ow, Reida!" Dhanna whined, rubbing her ear tenderly.

"There, now maybe you're in as much pain as I am." I said annoyedly, "Not sorry."

"Ugh," she sighed, "I guess I probably deserved that…"

"Yup."

Dhanna just shrugged her shoulders, "Ah well! Someday, Reida, you shall thank me for this day, mark my words!" And with that dramatic announcement, she turned and skipped down the sidewalk to her house.

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah right," I muttered, lifting the rock in the garden that contained the key to my house. I struggled with the thing, and finally got the key out of the rock. "'Oh thanks, Dhanna!~ I'll always remember the day that you RUINED MY LIFE!" She screamed, thrusting the key into the lock.

"R-Reida-san?" A confused voice sounded behind me, and I froze. The key, being flustered, all of it had made me late, and he'd caught me. I was usually in my bedroom now, peeking out the window and watching him pass my house, lost in daydreams, his beautiful slate-blue eyes reflecting the sunlight, carrying his school bag over his shoulder, graceful, handsome. Perfection. And he SAW ME!

Turning abruptly, I leaned on the doorframe of my house, key sticking out of the lock. Trying to play it cool, I saluted him, "H-hey there, Gamma, right?"

Ah, he was so beautiful. He stood just inside my gate, one eyebrow raised in confusion and the corner of his mouth twitching in amusement. Shaking his head with a low chuckle, he said, "Oh, don't pretend you don't know who I am, Reida."

I felt a rush of heat in my face. D-did… did he know about it all? The following, and pictures? I chuckled nervously, "O-oh? A-and why would I know who you are? We only met today." I waved my hand, the one whose elbow was leaning against the doorframe by my head. Please don't let him suspect, please please please…

He smiled, running a hand quickly through his hair vainly. And yet, it stayed perfect… I had to work not to stare as he spoke. "I've seen you at the soccer games. I know you're a fan of the school team. And, as a star player, you can't not know who I am, after all." He examined his fingernails, glancing up at me through his lashes.

Nodding perhaps too eagerly, I said, "O-oh yes, of course I do! Yes yes, um, I'm a big fan of… your soccer team. Yep. Can't get enough!" I grinned and gave him a thumbs-up, and he smiled.

"Not surprising." He said, turning to leave. Looking over his shoulder, he smiled charmingly and said, "I look forward to when we meet again, Reida." And, with that, he was gone.

I leaned against the door, sliding down it until I sat abruptly on the small front stoop, shaking all over. He spoke to me. He spoke to me. He spoke to me… Whoa. I actually held a conversation with Gamma. I leaned my head back against the door dizzily. He recognized me… wait, had he ever seen me in the tree?! I hoped not…

"Hey, is everything okay, genius?" I grunted and looked up, narrowing my eyes at the fading light in the sky. My older brother stood in front of me, a concerned look on his face that he was trying (and failing) to hide. "Have you been there since school ended?"

I stood, rubbing my sore neck and turning to the door, grinning sheepishly as my gaze fell on the key sticking out of the knob. "Y-Yeah, I guess I have… I must have dosed off."

He chuckled, reaching around me to unlock the door, he pulled out the key and said, "Well, you probably have homework to do. Try and wake up quickly, and don't be so stupid again." He turned to put away the key, and I smiled.

"Thanks, Kento."

"Whatever."

I shook my head with a chuckle. I'd take that much kindness from him. He wasn't usually that nice to me. I stepped inside the house, removing my shoes with care. Promptly hopping into my indoor shoes, I hurried up the stairs, turning to my bedroom door, covered with signs threatening intruders, should they dare to approach. Slipping inside, I sighed in contentment. "I'm back, Gamma-kun." Giggling at the various pictures covering my walls, I sat at my desk and caressed a photo of him walking past my house that lived in a frame. "So perfect." Humming a little tune, I opened my laptop and entered the password, and was soon absorbed in homework.

An entire year had passed since the day I'd officially met Gamma. He would occasionally greet me in the halls, or wave at me if he spotted me in the crowd at his soccer games. Every time he acknowledged my existence, it surprised me. I was just a nobody at school. I was an unpopular member of the photography club (surprised?) and yet he saw fit to act like he knew me. He was waaay too popular to waste his time on me. I still stalked him. I stopped correcting my friends when they called it that. That's what it was. No other explanation.

Then he started talking to me. Actual. Talking. Just small talk at first, how I was, how class had been. Then friendly conversations. What did I like to do, things like that. Had to refrain from mentioning my ever so slight obsession with him, ahaha. Miiight be a little too soon. Then he'd invite me to eat lunch with him, or watch his soccer practice. We became friends. Fairly close, as far as friends are concerned. Not best buddies that knew each other's secrets, of course. Otherwise he'd probably run in the other direction as fast as he could. And he could run fast.

And now it's the second week of school in spring. I admired the cherry blossoms dancing on the early spring breeze as I walked to school. I knew taking a shortcut through the park would be pleasant! Inhaling deeply, I closed my eyes, enjoying the smells and sounds of a spring in the park.

"Watch out!" My eyes shot open as someone grabbed me roughly around the waist and dragged me sideways.

"H-hey!" I couldn't see the person, but I was about to struggle when I looked and saw a tree. Right where I was walking.

"It'd be a shame to ruin that pretty face of yours, eh?" A smile could be heard in the voice of the person that had grabbed me, and I flushed deep red.

"Gamma?! But you don't normally walk through the park!" I blurted, then turned even darker crimson as I realized I had just given away that I knew what he usually did.

"Well, it was a nice day." His words tickled past my ear, and I realized that he was still holding me.

"U-um, can you let go please?" I asked, much as I thought it might be nice if he didn't.

"Oh, of course." He released me, and I straightened my school uniform, turning to face him.

"Thank you."

"You're quite welcome." Aaahhh, his smile was so dazzling today! Too bad he was miles out of my league… y'know, since I've been obsessed with him for quite a while.

"Reida?"

"Hm?!" I shook my head, looking up at Gamma.

He chuckled, "You were spacing out."

"A-ah, sorry!" I shrugged, embarrassed. "I'm just really grateful that you saved me."

"It was no trouble, really. It was just a tree." He winked. "It was the least I could do."

"Well, still. Thanks." I smiled up at him.

He shrugged. "Like I said, no trouble at all. Now, would you allow me to walk the prettiest girl around to school?" He swept a mock bow, and I giggled, until his words sank in.

"Wait a second, I'm not the prettiest girl in school." I took a step back, "Are your eyes working?"

Gamma smiled, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, is it not?"

"Uh, I guess, but-"

"So, was that a no?" His eyes, those slate-blue eyes I loved so much, held a flicker of disappointment, and I shook my head emphatically.

"No, no way! Of course you can walk me to school!" I said, perhaps too eagerly. "As long as you're not embarrassed to be seen with me, ahaha." I chuckled sheepishly.

"Hey, I'm the one that offered," he pointed out, and I nodded, happier than I'd ever been.

"Yeah. Yeah, you did." I smiled as I walked beside him to school, chatting about random things. He thought I was pretty! Maybe there was a little hope. Only problem was, at what point did I confess my stalking habit?...

Ah well, that was a problem for another day.

Well, hope you liked it! :D Please leave a review with your thoughts, and any character requests! Now, onto the list of who's next! Taiyou, if you wouldn't mind.

Taiyou: Next up is Kariya Masaki, followed by Tsurugi Yuuichi, Aphrodi/Afuro Terumi, me (Amemiya Taiyou), Kageyama Hikaru, Endou Mamoru, and Minaho Kazuto.

I'm hoping to (hoping, seeing as starting tomorrow, I have to use voice-commands to write -_-) start updating this more frequently, seeing as characters I love are coming up, and people who requested all those characters deserve to have their dreams come true! ;) And I hope to do Kariya as soon as I'm able, seeing as a very special (and excited) friend of mine is (or at least was, last I knew) in love with him. ;)

Hope to see you all again soon! Thanks for reading! :D
