Hello, hehe.

So… this isn't a new chapter. *sigh* I hate to say it, but I don't think this story will ever be finished. I started writing it when I was just a wee little thing. Now I'm older, and I have regrettably lost interest in this story. I feel like it's been holding me back, knowing that I never really will finish but lacking the drive and inclination to get it out of the way.

For those who want to know how the plot was going to turn out, I have it typed out below. If you want to draw your own conclusions as to the end of the story, don't read.

So essentially, Snape was going to get in on everything, and on Harry's side (surprisingly – still don't know how I would have done that) but things were going to escalate until Hermione decided to make a trap for them. The trap worked too well, and Ron got some of his memories wiped. Hermione gets into odds with herself over how malicious and secretive she becomes, and Luna figure out it's her from her reaction to all this. Luna asks for her memories to be wiped (since she and Ron had a thing going, and since he won't remember it, why should she?) and Hermione does so. This clues Snape in to the fact that it is Hermione, but Hermione is so guilt-trodden over all of it that she confesses to Harry. He's shocked, but finds the whole situation funny, and they start dating. Luna and Ron start something up again, and all other subplots are resolved through various means.

As you can see, it was going to end up a bit bleak. So… I figured that for those who wanted closure – there it is.

I really am sorry to anyone who was following this story and wanted to see it drawn to its conclusion. But, for my own peace of mind, I don't want something of this magnitude to be weighing on my conscience. I am, however, leaving it on for posterity, because despite my own insecurities and regrets considering this tale, it has managed to get follows, favorites, and reviews, and I'd hate to deprive those who liked this story of something they'd enjoy.

I will probably be writing more fanfiction. Not just in Harry Potter, either. I might branch out to Zelda. But who knows.
