When Sasuke, Karin, and Suigetsu opened their eyes, they found themselves in a void of darkness, as they were in a room with nine pillars of light. Sasuke led his team downstairs, where they saw an old man sleeping next to a lamppost.

Sasuke was the first to wake the man up.

"Oh, Crono! Decided to dye your hair, I see." The wise man said upon seeing Sasuke.

The Uchiha swordsman blinked as the old man looked at his team.

"We came here from the year 2100." Karin said.

"When four or more beings step into a time warp, the Conservation of Time theorem states that they will turn up at the space-time coordinates of least resistance." the old man said, watching Sasuke leave.
