Epilogue 1: Lorre

In the months following Pitch's demise, the areas that had been taken over by his dark influence were finally returning to normal. One of these places was the Vernal Sprite Forests, Lorre's kingdom and home. All traces of nightmares and darkness had faded, leaving behind tall elegant trees in every color imaginable, flowers blooming larger and more beautiful than ever before. All the sprites had returned to their beloved home and were preparing for Prince Lorre's coronation and marriage. It was a joyous time, a rebirth for the citizens of the forest, now having been saved from eternal darkness.

Lorre paced the forest floor, dressed in the traditional wedding garb of the vernal sprites, a long green dress ornamented with ivy and blooms of lily and baby's breath in his hair. He was looking for his closest friend, Prince Jack. When the frosty prince arrived, he was immediately swept up in thin arms. "Jack, I'm so glad you're here!" Lorre cried happily.

"Of course I'm here, I'm not about to miss one of my best friend's wedding and coronation." He chuckled in reply. Aster came up behind the two, smiling at their happy display. He took Jack by the hand.

"Come on love, we better take our seats, we don't want to make him late for his own wedding."

Jack whined in protest, but allowed himself to be taken to his seat, but before he was out of hearing range, he said to Lorre, "Make sure you show up to our wedding too, it's going to be great!" He then was pulled out of the room by an embarrassed Aster.

Shortly thereafter, Lorre was married to his long-time love Prince Jeile from the Autumnal Sprite Forests, and was crowned ruler of the sprites. Lorre and Jeile were the best rulers that the sprites had seen for quite a few centuries, settling all wars between the seasonal sprites and bringing countless centuries of peace.

Epilogue 2: Rescue

Back in Pitch's decaying nightmare realm, a small form sat with his arms wrapped around his knees. He was wounded in numerous places and was trembling ever so slightly. This was Nightlight, guardian and closest friend to Tsar Lunar XII, Mim. He looked around every once in a while, hoping to see some form of rescue. He all but gave up hope when none came. He figured that Lunar had given up on him. Nightlight closed his shining eyes and laid down, hoping to get some well needed rest before taking up his watch yet again.

As he slept, a spectral form entered the collapsing space. It was tall and thin, much like Nightlight himself. But this form carried himself with an air of royalty, golden light shimmering around him. The form bent over the sleeping guardian and scooped him into warm arms. Nightlight, it whispered, wake up, I'm here now. Nightlight opened his eyes and looked up at his savior. Mim? He asked, uncertain.

Yes, Night, it's me. I'm sorry it took so long. I was trying so hard to find you, it was as if your presence was blocked from me. He hugged the injured man to his warm chest. Nightlight looked up into the golden eyes he loved so much. Tsar Lunar XII was the most beautiful person he had ever seen. His eyes shone with dreams and love, his wispy golden hair piled messily on top of his head. Nightlight always found comfort in the arms of his ruler, but never before like this. He could feel his injuries closing, and his body and mind refreshing to a healthy state. Nightlight knew he loved this man, and that he was loved in return, and that no matter what may come, they would be there to save each other until the universe stopped growing.

Epilogue 3: Happy Endings (Jack's POV)

I ran through the castle, tugging on my blue and silver boots, you would think that after the last time, I would be more conscious of the time. Then again, I didn't have any dark wizards to worry about, just pre-wedding jitters. I was now fully dressed in the...interesting wedding outfit Baby Tooth had designed for me. My tunic had silver snowflake designs lacing up the front, and became larger silver snowflakes on my back in a cape. At least my trousers were modest.

The double doors before me opened, my cue to enter the great hall and take the next big step in my life. I was getting married to Aster.

It had taken me a few months to completely trust people again after my ordeals with Pitch, I was even reluctant to date Bunny, let alone marry him. But he wore me down I guess, and I said yes the first time he asked. He wanted to have a small wedding, but as soon as Baby Tooth heard I was engaged, we had to throw that idea out the window. Right now, I'm regretting letting her do all the planning, she tends to go overboard.

I walked down the aisle towards my future husband, a nervous smile on my face. Everyone was staring at me! My whole family was sitting in the front row, eyes on me my siblings finally accepting me and even occasionally acknowledging my presence. My friends that I had made, Lorre and his husband, as well as Sandy, sat behind them and smiled widely at me. Aster's friends and family sat on the other side of the aisle, but I didn't know them very well. The only face I recognized was one of a small boy that he had adopted after being orphaned by Pitch. The boy's name was Jamie Bennett, and we were already thick as thieves, partners in crime in everything. Aster absolutely hated when we were in a pranking mood, but Jamie treated us like we were his parents, which, honestly, felt kinda nice.

Aster's smiling face pulled me back into reality. I was already standing on the altar next to him, our hands grasped together tightly. We both recited our vows to one another, I kinda did mine off the cuff, but Aster, well, I won't say I cried a little, but that would be lying. I knew then that I could never ask for a more perfect soulmate, and that he would take care of me forever.

Aster and I live in Warren now, I'm not needed at the palace all that often seeing as I'm twelfth in line for the throne. But we live relatively peaceful lives with our son and the people of Warren (there was that thing with the sky pirates, but that's a whole other story). Lorre visits from time to time and Sandy and Baby Tooth stay over as house-guests more often than not. Like I said though, we're happy and still so much in love. Nothing comes between us, no arguments or night-terrors. He brings hope, but I bring the fun, and that's the way we like it.

Final A/N:

Thank you everyone who read/reviewed/favorited this story! I hope you enjoyed all the twists, turns, fluffs, and sorrows as much as I did! So, my news that I announced at the end of the last chapter: I'll be writing a spin-off of this story centered around the early stages of MiM and Nightlight's relationship. I won't begin this until I go on winter break though, because college is busy! It also probably won't be as long, but who knows, I didn't imagine this story being as long as is did!

So that's about it...I'm kinda sad no one had questions about anything (I love answering them) but I'm still thrilled at every response I do get!

So thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Always keep hope and have as much fun as possible.
