Well, it's been a while since I've done a song parody, and in light of my recent graduation from high school (and by recent I mean about two weeks ago) I decided to jump on the 'Let It Go' bandwagon and share my thoughts from my AP Literature and Composition class.

I call it "Give It Up"

I don't Frozen

My notebook's filled completely tonight, not a blank page to be seen.

If I have to write one more essay, I feel like I may scream.

My head is pounding with these lit terms I don't know.

I didn't read the piece...heaven knows it shows...

Don't put a comma in that spot!

Why can't I just write down this simple thought?

Forget Jane Eyre, I've had enough! I give up!

Give it up! Give it up!

Can't take this class anymore!

Give it up! Give it up!

This paper can't get a good score!

I don't care what the teacher will say!

Let my percentage drop down!

My grade never bothered me anyway.

It's funny how the final makes everything seem small

200 points on this essay. My grade will definitely fall!

It's time to see how well I write!

Put my pencil to this paper one final time!

That paragraph was just so bad...now I'm sad!

Give it up! Give it up!

I know I can't pass this class!

Give it up! Give it up!

This essay's kicking my ass!

Here you can see, it's all just plot summary!

I could fit some lit terms in there...

My papers fly into the air from my binder!

I couldn't care less about Jane Eyre or that Rochester!

Somehow I managed to pull out a passing grade!

I won't do this again! Pretty sure I went insane!

Throw it out! Throw it out!

Get rid of bad memories!

Throw it out! Throw it out!

Keep these essays away from me!

How did I pass?!

I thought the final sucked!

Let the papers fly!

My grade never bothered me anyway.

I know you have to stretch a little on fitting some of the words in, but that was as good as I could get it. Like with the others, I may do a cover and put it on YouTube. We'll see. Depends if anyone is home. I have to belt this song to sing it well and I don't like singing in front of people I actually know.
