Hey guys, I've been working on this chapter for a pretty long time, but never finished it. I know I don't upload frequently enough. I don't get how some writers upload every day, they are seriously master minds. Any way, I got a new laptop now, and I hope to upload more often. When I actually have inspiration for this story, it's kinda hard. I have all these idea's for story but nothing for this. I might upload more on my other one-shot story. Then can dump all my idea's in a one-shot and I can erase it out of my mind. I loved that some of you still commented here and read my story. For someone who commented, I am not ending this story here! It still has some time to go. But I wan't some chapters with more quality. Even if it means it takes a little longer, or the chapters are a little smaller. They might get a little shorter, so I can upload more frequently. That's all for now. I love you guys, thanks for sticking with me!

Emma ran outside, looking left to right. "Left, or right?"

David smiled awkwardly. "Right."

"Oh yes, duh." Emma smiled and grabbed her fathers hand, dragging him with her. "Hurry up Dad! I need to show Red my teeth."

David laughed and picked her up under his arm, running towards Rumples shop.

Emma snickered holding tightly on to his arm. "Daddy!"

David set her down, arm placed his arm around her shoulders. "You're getting to heavy." He breathed out.

"You're getting to old." Emma teased back.

"Watch your mouth there young lady." They heard behind them, Red was getting out of Snow's car.

"AUNTIE!" Emma called to her. "You're here!"

Red laughed and picked her up. "Hey little pup. How are you doing?"

"Great, look I lost my front tooth!" Emma smiled wide.

Snow was out of her car now too, "She was so excited to show you." She smiled.

Emma blushed, "Momm.."

"But you were!"

"Shut up." Emma mumbled.

"What?!" Snow was shocked, so Emma had this language from young age.

"Nothing." She wanted to add 'whatever' but she didn't want to get in more trouble with her father.

She still got a look from her dad saying this wasn't alright.

"You don't talk to me that way." Snow raised an eyebrow. "Okay?"

"Yes." Emma sighed.

Snow coughed.

"Yes mom."

"Thats better."

"Can we go see Rumplestilskin now?" Emma asked, embarrassed that her parents corrected her in front of Ruby.

David nodded and steered her into Rumple's shop.

"Gold?" Snow called out.

Belle emerged from the backroom. "Hi." She smiled warmly at the family. "He will be with you in a minute." Belle looked at Emma. "Emma?" She asked.

Emma nodded. "You're Rumplestilskin's wife right?" She asked.

Belle nodded. "I am."

Rumple walked in, smiling. "Yes deary, my beautiful wife. Where can I help you with?" He asked, knowing they came for Emma.

"Emma didn't turn to her 28 year old self, she turned 8. But she still has memories from being 4 with us, and some vague memories of being older, and she knows everyone here." David explained.

Gold nodded. "I thought this might happen. Emma doesn't control her magic fully yet, other wise she would be able to make her self 28 again. She is starting to control it, so that in her sleep she would be changing 'back'." He told them. "Because she doesn't fully control her magic, she will be changing in stages. She is around 8 now, next step could be around 13 or 14, and so on and so on."

Snow nodded. "And theres is nothing we can do about it?"

Gold got behind the shop counter and searched for something. "I do have this.." He mumbled. "Aha!" He stood up, holding up a necklace. "This necklace is originally used for people who are under a spell that they don't age up, but get younger. I believe if she has this on her, she will only get older. I haven't seen this happen much, we can't take any changes of her getting younger again. She would have to start over to get older. By the time she is 28 again, her energy would most likely be spent. If she gets younger one time, she might get stuck on a other age for a while, because her energy is to low to change to older. Does this make any sense?" He asked.

David nodded. "Changing to her older self takes a lot of energy, one step back in age and her energy would not be able to get her back to 28."

"But couldn't you just wait till her energy is back again and then change further." Ruby wondered.

"True," Gold said. "But you can't wait too long, stuck on an age too long, would make her stay that age. Because she can't change older than she originally is, 28 years, she would be stuck on that age, and make her stay 28 years. When she's stuck on an age, she will be able to age normally again. Getting older like normal people do. If she get's stuck on 8, she will get older eventually. But it would take 20 years to get her 28 again…"

"So if you wait too long with changing she would stay that age." Snow asked.

Rumple nodded. "With her energy level as it is now, she will be able to change to 28 in time, this might take a couple weeks. After a change she'll need to get some energy back. This can take a couple days. When her energy level is full again, she'll change older. Every time she changes it takes energy away. Which would be fine, because when you get older. You get stronger and bigger too, the change would get smaller. Going from 4 to 8 is a big change, but from 14 to say 16 not as much. So wouldn't need as much energy as the change from 4 to 8 was. If she changes back to a younger age, her energy level would not be able to handle getting her back to 28 years again."

"And this necklace would stop her from getting younger." Ruby took the necklace from Gold in wonder.

"Yes, as long as she has the necklace on, everything would be fine. She will age to 28, get stuck there on that age. And everything will be back as normal again." Rumple concluded. "With the necklace off on the wrong moment, the night of her change, it could go wrong. Even then, there is a fifty procent change she will get older, the other fifty procent is she will get younger. Never take it off is my advice." Rumple took the necklace from Ruby again and put it around Emma's neck, who was looking confused. She didn't understand a word from all what was happening. "You don't know what night she will change. Never take the necklace off, then you won't miss the night of the change."

Snow nodded, bending down in front of Emma and took the necklace. "This necklace that Gold gave you." Emma looked up at him. "You can never take it of, not even to show other people, okay?" Snow asked her daughter.

Emma nodded. "Why do I have to keep it on."

"It will protect you." David put his hand on her shoulder.

Emma looked up. "But I got you to protect me right?" She asked him.

"Of course you do," He answered. "The necklace will help me protect you."

Emma nodded. "I will keep it on."

"Good girl." Snow kissed her cheek, she took Emma's hand and walked outside, Ruby following them.

David stayed. "What is you price for the necklace."

"Nothing." Belle replied before Gold could say anything. Gold winced. "You heard the girl, nothing." He sighed.

David thanked them and quickly followed his family.

Once home again Emma started playing with Ruby. Snow got lunch started.

"Will get to see her in all different ages." David placed an arm around Snow's waist.

"I know." Snow smiled. "But I rather have her 28 again."

"Me too, I miss her."

Snow nodded. " But I'm still going to enjoy this time with her."

"We keep that necklace on, and everything will be fine."

"Theres not even a villain here and we are on a adventure." Snow joked.

"Our lives are never boring no." David laughed.
