Author's Note: Vent drabble. I'm stressed out to the max for graduation. I have two more weeks to get everything caught up and if I don't, I'm not going to graduate and, as much as I just love school (please note my sarcasm), I want to GTFO of there.

So instead of working on my homework like I should be doing, I drabble-vent instead. See how much restraint I have?

A little pre-Future Arc drabble about Reborn's death. Nice and angsty. Maybe a bit of R27 if you squint really, really hard.

You'll never amount to anything good in your life. You should just go die.

"Do you remember, Reborn?" Tsuna asked softly, "When you told me that I'd never amount to anything?" He ran his hand over the expensive fedora in his life. "Do you remember what I said back then?"

Just watch me.

He could imagine Reborn chuckling. It was all thanks to me, Dame-Tsuna. You were such a pessimist.

"I guess so." He said, chuckling sadly. "You were certainly persistent—whipping a no-good, clumsy teenager into a man befitting of the Vongola." He closed his eyes. "Do you remember that lesson you gave me about always approaching things with the right attitude?"

Of course I do, Dame-Tsuna. I have the best memory out of all of your Council—you know that.

"You do, I admit that."

He could imagine Reborn frowning underneath his fedora, his lips pulling down into a curious frown.

What's wrong, Dame-Tsuna?

"Do you remember, Reborn? What you said you me the day you died?"

An image of Reborn, frail and fighting—always fighting—using the last of his strength to run a hand over his Dame-Tsuna's cheek despite the blood that stained his lips and the exhaustion that painted dark cirlces around his eyes. Y-you—cough—c-can't die. Y-You can't… follow me into death, D-Dame-Tsuna.

"You told me I couldn't follow you into death." He continued, looking back at the blank slate stone. "You told me that I couldn't die." Tsuna smiled mirthlessly, setting the fedora down on Reborn's unmarked grave.

"Just watch me."

Owari.

The Guidance Counciler is telling me that I can't graduate. You know what I told her?

Just watch me.
