A/N: Alright guys, it's been about a month, and here's a new chapter. I really do hope I can stick to the one chapter a month. But keep in mind, that means that I could update my other story, so this one could go awhile without an update. For now, enjoy the new chapter.

Chapter 38: Magnolia's Harvest Festival

-Fairy Tail Guild Hall-

The activity in the guild seemed to have calmed down significantly compared to the day where Pit and the others returned. We currently find our angelic hero sitting at the bar, head lying on the table.

"Geez…and people say I have a lot of energy…" Pit said. "That reporter was just all over the place."

"Now you know how we feel," Phosphora said as she sat next to Pit. "At least he paid some attention to you, Mr. 'Angel of Fairy Tail.' He completely ignored me."

"To be fair Phosphora, you only joined the guild a little while ago," Mirajane pointed out. "Even though Pit hasn't been with us that long either, he's accomplished a good amount. Defeating powerful dark mages, even going toe to toe with a 10 Wizard Saint."

"I've faced my fair share of strong opponents too ya know," Phosphora pointed out. "There's that water chick, and that weird sword lady."

"Sword lady?" Mirajane asked.

"We'll tell you later," Pit said. "I'm more worried about something else right now."

"And what would that be Pit?" Mirajane asked.

"We have no money to pay our rent…" Pit said, flipping his head so his face was on the counter. "We've made some money doing jobs, but we have nowhere near enough to pay rent."

"We? Oh that's right, Phosphora moved in with you, didn't she?" Mirajane asked, an innocent smile on her face.

"Yeah, and she took my room…I only got to sleep in there a hand full of times," Pit complained.

"Not my fault you're a chivalrous young man," Phosphora said with a small smirk.

"Hey! You're in just as much trouble as I am! If we can't find the money, we'll get kicked out!" Pit shouted, lifting his head up to face her.

"If you guys are tight on money, there's always the Harvest Festival," Mirajane suggested.

"Harvest Festival?" Pit and Phosphora asked at the same time.

"Oh that's right, this will be your first Harvest Festival," Mirajane said as she reached for something underneath the counter. "Magnolia Town celebrates the harvest every year with a festival that is hosted by our very own guild." Mirajane then placed a small poster on the table, Pit and Phosphora looking over the poster.

"How will this festival help us get any money?" Pit asked.

"Look at the bottom right corner," Mirajane said, pointing it out.

"Miss Fairy Tail Contest," Phosphora read. "Grand prize is…500,000 Jewels?!"

"…Phoshpora! You have to enter that competition!" Pit said, grabbing her by her shoulders.

Phosphora smirked as she said, "I guess it's up to me to get us out of this jam." She then stood up as she yelled, "It's time to show this guild that bigger isn't always better!"

"…What are you talking about?" Pit questioned.

"Don't worry about it Pit, I'm sure it's nothing," Mirajane said. "Now if you two will excuse me, I have to go help Master Makarov prepare for the festival." With that said, Mirajane took off to go help their guild's master.

"Come on Pit!" Phosphora yelled as he grabbed his wrist and started to drag him. "If I'm going to win this, I'm going to need your help!"

"Why do you need MY help!?" Pit asked as he was forced to join Phosphora.

-The Next Day-

"It's the festival!" Happy cheered as he, Natsu, Gray, Juvia, Pit, and Lucy were walking through the streets. Natsu and Pit both looking very tired.

"What's wrong with you Pit?" Gray asked.

"Phosphora…made me stay up all night to help her with the competition…" Pit said as he yawned a bit.

"Well, you look better than Natsu if that means anything," Gray said as they group watched Natsu and Happy walk off, both talking about eating food.

"He doesn't look good at all," Lucy pointed out. "Is he alright?"

"Leave him be," Gray said.

"Anyways, it's really crowded," Juvia pointed out, noticing the many people now present in the town.

"Does this town actually have this many people?" Lucy questioned.

"Because of Fantasia, people come here from other towns," Gray explained.

"I keep hearing about this Fantasia thing," Pit stated before yawning a bit. "What exactly is it?"

Gray only smirked as he said, "Why ruin the surprise? It'll just make it all the more better."

"Now I really want to see Fantasia," Lucy said before she realized something. "Speaking about the Festival…Miss Fairy Tail is about to begin!" Lucy then ran off, heading straight towards the guild."

"Juvia won't lose to Lucy or Phosphora," Juvia stated.

"You're gonna participate too?" Gray questioned.

-Fairy Tail Guild Hall"

Now finding themselves inside the Fairy Tail guild, the group quickly tries to find seat so they can watch the Miss Fairy Tail contest. But it wasn't easy trying to find somewhere, as the guild was packed full of people. Luckily, they were able to find an empty table to sit at.

"People of Magnolia Town, and of nearby towns! And those that came from the underworld, don't forget to go back to your graves when this is over, okay?" shouted a man on the stage, getting some laughs from the second comment. "And now for what you've all been waiting for! The Fairy Tail beauties will perform on this stage! Let the contest begin! The announcer will be me, the Sand Magician, Max Alros! May I introduce our first contestant! Miss Cana Alberona!" Cana then walked out onto the stage, having a number 1 pin at her hip, showing she was the first performer of the event.

Cana started her performance by making many cards appear from her hand. The cards they started to swirl around her, obscuring her body from the crowd. When the cards dispersed however, it was revealed that she as now wearing a swimsuit, all the cards falling to the ground. With that, her performance ended and she left the stage

The next to go on stage was Juvia, who had a number 2 pin at her hip. When Juvia started her performance, she turned her entire body into water. When she reformed her body though, she was now wearing a bikini, just like Cana was at the end of her performance. And with her performance over she left and went to back stage.

Up next was Mirajane, who used her transformation magic. However, unlike the previous two, she used her magic to just changed her face, changing her face to look like Happy's and Gajeel's, surprising many of the audience members with the sudden change.

Afer Mirajane, Erza took the stage, confident that she would win the whole thing. Using her magic, Erza changed out of her normal armor, changing into a gothic lolita dress. The entire crowd was stunned speechless by Erza's performance.

Next was Levi, who used her Solid Script to write several words in the air. The words appeared in a very unique and stylized font though, different for every word. After Levi was Bisca, who used her Guns Magic to shoot at several targets in rapid succession, even a target that was behind a "civilian" target. Next, it was Phosphora's turn to perform.

"Give it up, ladies and gentleman, for one of Fairy Tail's new raising stars!" Max stated as Phosphora took to the stage. "Give a big Fairy Tail welcome to Phosphora Eleka!"

Phosphora stood on the middle of the stage, smirking as storm clouds suddenly started to gather around the ceiling, confusing many of the audience members. Suddenly, Phosphora pointed towards the ceiling with one of her hands as a low rumbling was then heard.

"Time to show you guys something that's real flashy!" Phosphora shouted as a bolt of lightning descended from the clouds and struck her, causing a large smoke cloud to form on stage. Many of the audience members were surprised by the turn of events, some were even trying to get out, hoping to avoid a similar fate which they thought befell Phosphora. However, when the smoke quickly cleared, Phosphora was still in the same pose as when the lightning struck her, the same smirk on her face. However, like some of the contestants before her, she had used her magic to change into a swimsuit, causing many of the people in the audience to cheer for her. When her time was up, she left the stage, smirk still in place.

"Now it's time for our eighth contestant!" Max announced. "She's the super rookie, give it up for, Lucy H-" What he was about to saw was cut off as Lucy came on stage, stopping him from saying her last name.

"If people know my dad is rich, I won't be able to win the money," Lucy thought as she waved to the crowd. "Well, I'm going to dance with my Celestial Spirits." But before she could even raise one of her keys, a new voice was heard.

"Number nine," the new, feminine voice said.

"Wait, I haven't even started yet," Lucy said as she turned to the new person.

"If you talk about fairies, then it's me. If you talk about beauty, then it's me," the newcomer said. "That's right, it's all me. The champion will definitely be me, Evergreen! This is boring, so we'll end the beauty contest here!"

"Evergreen!?" Gray shouted in surprise.

"She came back!?" Elfman said, with just as much surprise as Gray.

"Quit playing around! This beauty contest concerns my living!" Lucy shouted.

"Lucy! Don't look into her eyes!" Gray tried to warn her, but it was too late. Evergreen rose up her glasses, and in an instant, Lucy was turned into stone, surprising many people within the crowd.

"This is terrible!" Max shouted into his microphone, making a "run away" sign out of his sand. "Everybody! Run!"

"What are you doing Evergreen!?" Makarov shouted as many people ran past him to the guild's entrance. "Are you trying to ruin the festival!?"

"Doesn't a festival have a main show?" Evergreen questioned back, as she started to burn down the curtain that separated the backstage from the rest of the guild. When enough of the curtain was burned away, all the Miss Fairy Tail contestant were shown to all have been turned into stone.

"You fool! Turn them back to normal!" Makarov commanded, as a bolt of lightning descended onto stage once again, this one coming from someone else.

"Oi…Fairy Tail idiots…" Lazus said as he stood up, two other standing behind him. "The real festival begins now."

"Freed and Bickslow!" Gray said, immediately recognizing the two behind Laxus.

"The Thunder God Tribe! Laxus's bodyguards!" a member of the crowd said.

"Why don't we play a game, old geezer?" Laxus asked.

"Don't do something stupid," Makarov said. "We have to get ready for Fantasai. Turn them back to normal now!"

"Fantasia is late at night. If we hurry, people might get to see it," Laxus said as a bolt of lightning fell towards Lucy, curving at the last second and connecting with the stage floor. "I'll take there girls as hostages. I'll destroy them one by one if you break the rules. Like I said, this is the main show."

"There are things that cannot be taken as a joke, Laxus!" Makarov said, giving his grandson an intense stare.

"Or course I'm serious!" Laxuz said. "It's just a game to find out who is the strongest here, in Fairy Tail. The rules are simple. The last survivor wins. The Batlle of Fairy Tail starts now!" At that moment, a table to blasted into the ceiling, drawing everyone's attention to the source. Everyone saw Natsu, standing up, fist in the air, looking no worse and back to normal.

"Isn't this great!?" Natsu asked, a smirk on his face. "This is way too easy to understand! I'm pumped!"

A/N: A bit of a short chapter, but it sets up the current arc at least, and that's all I really need for now. Hope you guys enjoyed Phosphora's bit in the beauty contest, and the part where Pit and Phosphora discovered it. Anyways, onto something else you guys have been waiting for. And for those that have been making guesses, Pyrrhon will not be apart of the Underworld dark guild. Only characters that have been officially affiliated with the Underworld Arm of KI will appear. And now, onto the first Omake...well, technically second I suppose.

Omake: The Hellhounds of the Underworld

-Dirt Road-

"Remind me again why the hell we're going this?" asked a fiery haired young man.

"Don't you remember brother?" said a young woman with long red hair. "Master Hades needs us to spread our guild's infamy. What better way than destroying a village or two?"

"I still don't see why we're the only ones doing this right now," the young man said. "You think the old god would send everyone out."

"You really don't get it, do you Oswald?" the young woman asked, causing the man's eye to twitch when he was called that. "We need to start small. As time passes, more of us will reveal ourselves. For now, Master Hades just needs us. All we have to do is destroy a building or two, maybe burn down an entire town, and leave behind our guild's mark."

"…How many times do I have to tell you, just call me Oz," the young man, now known as Oz said. "And by mark, I can only assume you mean that symbol Hades picked out for our guild." Oz then looked down at his chest, where he knew a red symbol that looked like an upside down trident with an eye in the middle rested on his left pectoral. "I don't know why he picked our old symbol though."

"Perhaps he's just attached to it little brother," the woman said. "As they say, why fix what's not broken?"

"For the last time Bell! We were born at the same time!" Oz shouted.

"Then why does my name come first in our title?" Bell asked.

"Hell if I know," Oz muttered, somewhat annoyed. "Hades probably thought sounded better or something."

"Maybe so," Bell said as she smiled a bit. "But I still say I'm the older of us two."

"Why are we even going together in the first place?" Oz asked. "I'm sure we could each do fine on our own."

"Oh naïve Oswald," Bell said, annoying her brother again. "You know as well as I do that we can only access our full power when we are together. Face it, we're just not as strong without the other."

Oz was about to say something in response, more than likely very angrily, before he stopped and sniffed the air a bit as he then said, "You smell that, right?"

Bell nodded, seeing a small town ahead of them, as she said, "It seems we've arrived to our destination."

"Perfect, I was starting to get a bit bored," Oz said with a sharp toothed grin, looking towards the town. "I could use the opportunity to blow off some steam."

"I agree," Bell said as she smiled a bit. "Let's show this world what the twins Bell and Oz can do."

A/N: Well that's the first one down, and several to go. I already have rough ideas on how all the Omakes are going to go, so no need to to worry about that. I really do hope you enjoyed it though. That's all I really have to say for now. If you have any questions feel free to ask in the reviews or send me a PM, or just leave a review on your general thoughts on the chapter. Seeya guys next time.
