We are Forever After:

I was doing a glee-rewatch and Finn's speech in 'I Do' just tickled my muse. I don't own anything except my muses Mattel owns the characters Ryan Murphy owns the words that inspired me. SPOILERS based on future webisodes This is my first piece in the fandom so enjoy

She knew it was bound to happen, she'd observed the hordes of the female population of Ever After High simply swoon whenever he walked by and yet when she first saw the mirror net a buzz with the Gossip she couldn't believe what she was seeing. It wasn't as if they'd been exclusive, hex SHE was the one who had brought up the fact that they had their forever after to be together once he woke her from her poison induced slumber and that until then they didn't need to be exclusive however seeing Daring Charming and Lizzie Hearts together simply broke Apple White's heart.

Her story, her legacy was already hanging a thread ever since Raven Queen had decided to write her own story throwing the status quo not to mention everyone's stories out of balance however her friend had assured her that while she had no intention of playing the role of Evil Queen things would find a way to work out for themselves and Apple would get her Happily Ever After.

But how could she now, not without her Prince, her Villain, hex even the Huntsman who was to spare her life leading her to run into the woods and meet the dwarfs was off was now in a romantic entanglement with the future Cinderella though she did have to admit Hunter and Ashlynn were rather adorable together….but that wasn't the point.

She walked into the Castleteria with the usual air of confidence that was expected to be carried off by the Daughter of Snow White that she was. He'd been seated at a table talking Basketball with Sparrow and Hopper however their conversation seemed to lull as she arrived.

"Pardon me boys, but can I borrow Daring for a spell?" Apple soon asked rolling her eyes as Sparrow was pantomiming a whip cracking his usual cocky smirk crossing his lips.

The Prince stood up and apologized to his friends before following Apple out into the hallway and as Apple looked at him she couldn't help but let her heart skip a beat and couldn't help but visualize the hopeful moment in the future where her eyes would meet with his as she woke in that glass coffin.

"We need to talk," she replied once they were alone, far away from prying eyes of the student body.

"I thought we were talking?" Daring replied as he reached up and began to scratch his head.

'He's so cute when he's clueless' Apple thought to herself as she snapped back into the moment.

"So, you and Lizzie?" she spoke as if she was asking a question.

Daring shrugged back his shoulders and simply nodded.

"I guess we are."

"You guess Daring, you guess?"

"Well, I mean we haven't gone MyChapter official then again WE were never MyChapter official."

Apple shook her head. There was no argument there as she simply shook her head.

"I know we weren't, but like I said when we first started to court one another you and I we both know how this thing ends. I don't care if you run off and become Lizzie's Knave for a spell, hex perhaps I'll go ask Humphrey out cause I'm pretty sure that egg head has a crush on me I mean he did write that rap and….."

She paused, clearly she was getting off point as she bit her lip and began to smooth out her skirts.

"You're my Prince Charming," she finally managed to speak out again, "We are Forever After, I know that and you know that and I just hope that we can be friends until that day arrives."

"Whoever said I didn't still want to be friends?" Daring asked causing Apple to perk up and smile as they shared one final parting kiss. She could still feel the lingering spark between them a spark that she hoped would ignite again someday.
