(May's POV)
Me, Ash, Max, and Brock haven't traveled together in a long time. But today, Ash & Brock ran into me and Max, and Ash decided he wanted to go visit my dad. I asked why, but he just said that he 'wanted to talk to him about personal stuff'. I really didn't understand why he wanted to talk to my dad. But first, in case my dad wanted to battle Ash again as a welcome, we had to go to the Pokémon Center just in case. When we walked in, lots of people were surrounded by a TV in the waiting room, watching the news.

"Oh, guys, let's go see what's on!" I shouted. I grabbed the guys by their wrists, and ran to the waiting room.

"Attention, Hoenn! Jirachi, the wish granting Pokémon, has been sighted in Petalburg City! That's odd, because it only comes every one thousand years," the reporter on TV explained. There was another person next to the reporter. I knew immediately that it was my mom.

"We saw Jirachi near our house, and Norman said that this was probably unusual. Norman's always skeptical, but I really think that this is real. My daughter said she has a wish she really needs to grant, so this was perfect timing!" Mom said.

"So, May, what's that wish that's so important?" Ash asked me. I was blushing so red, my face looked like it was on fire.

"Ash, you know that if you tell someone your wish, it won't come true," I said. Max snickered from behind me.

"I think I know what that wish is," he laughed. I glared at him and he immediately shut up.

(Max's POV)
I was so glad that Jirachi has been spotted in Petalburg City. I could finally make my wish. It wasn't even for me! This isn't telling a person technically, but I was going to wish that May could finally go out with Ash. I knew that she had a crush on him since I started traveling with them. I wasn't too sure about Ash, though. Just in case Ash didn't return her feelings, I was going to use that wish. May might be annoying sometimes, but not all the time. She's my sister, and it's only human to argue with her. I assumed that May was hoping for the same thing, too, by the way she acted when Ash asked her about the wish. But still, I found it odd that it was 2014 and Jirachi wasn't supposed to return until 3000...
