I love him…
I love him…. I was in love... Is that really love? Do you call it that? I'm only 20; does this even count as love? Do I tell him? Does he feel the same? We've only been together a short time...
Ughh I've been tossing and turning all night, losing sleep over the thoughts bouncing around in my head, I couldn't stand it. I sighed deeply, trying to sink deeper into the bed, trying to find some sort of comfort, but there was none.
I give up.
Looking over at my night stand my phone displays the horrid time, 1:47am. I grab the phone without thinking, my mind automatically goes to tell Fang I can't sleep, he always tells me to let him know so he can keep me company, usually he'll call me and I'll talk to him or just listen to him breathe till I fall asleep…
But I can't do that now, my emotions are mush and hearing him might make it worse, especially at this time, you always feel more vulnerable at night.
I turned on my side again, grabbing my headphones hoping that soft music would lull me to sleep. Forcing my eyes closed I listened intently to each note of the melody, until I lost track and sleep pulled me under.

11:06 am
There is so much to do today and so little time, it's our anniversary and I want it to be as close to perfect as it can be. I pulled out my phone to text Max, its weird she didn't text me last night, but she was probably really tired.
Morning darling :)
I smiled, hitting send, sometimes I couldn't believe that I was with her. Today was going to be perfect, I could feel it and if it all went well… I'd tell her. She's definitely ready.
My phone vibrated,
Morning, I just woke up xD
I winced looking at the time, it was almost 12, why was she waking up so late?
Why so late?
I went to sleep late, plus I've never been one to wake up early on purpose.
Well that was true, she hated waking up early, especially when she didn't have to.
Ahh okay then :P well don't stay in bed too late, we have a date today!
Trust me, I haven't forgotten
I smiled to myself, good.

I sighed leaning back on my pillow, dropping my phone next to me. Fang was really excited about today, and I was happy, and nervous and slightly nauseous.
Nudge and Ella were coming by around 3:30 to help me get ready, since I apparently can't dress myself or nothing in my closet is appropriate, I forget which it is, mehh I don't really care either. I like my clothes.
I was so tired from last night
…Zzz..ZZ.. ….zzzz….ZZzz….ZzzZ….ZZ….ZzzzZzz….ZzzzZ….Zzz….
I was awoken again by a distinct pounding on my door,
"Maxxxx Wake up! It's 2:30! Come on we have to prep you for your date. Hurry up before Nudge picks the lock again." Ella yelled
I groaned loudly, getting up and opening the door letting it swing open.
"Finally… Damn Max, you look all jacked up." Nudge examined my face,
"Couldn't sleep?" I just nodded tiredly; she turned to Ella, "Good thing we got here early, we need that extra hour to work our magic here."
Ella nodded rolling her eyes, walking straight into my room.
"What kept you up so late?"
I stretched, shrugging not really in the mood of talking.
"I'm not sure, maybe it was the coffee from last night." Nudge seemed to buy it, Ella just squinted her eyes at me.
"Once I had like the strongest coffee ever! I think it was like espresso or something because I was like all jittery and such, it was like 2 am and I was dancing around."
Ella started taking out different shirts and skirts while Nudge continued on.
"Sounds like drugs to me" I murmured, Nudge smacked me lightly and Ella just laughed.
"Max! I don't do that dumb stuff, I've never even seen crackles, pepsi or lcd"
Ella takes out the last piece of clothing from her bag,
"Nudge I think you meant Crack or Coke, and isn't LCD what they make T.v.'s from?" she looks at me, and I shrug. Nudge takes her bags to my bed and starts pulling out makeup.
"The point wasssss, girls that I don't do that stuff." She stuck her tongue out at me, "Anyway we have a lot of work to do," she looked over at Ella.
"Lets get to work"
…
I wont bore you with the gruesome details of these unfortunate hours I spent getting ready with them, I wont describe the torture I was subjected to via makeup brushes and hot curling wand thingys.
Instead I'll tell you this... I was impressed.

I looked damn good, and I was actually willing to admit it.
"Thank you" I smiled softly at my two best friends, I hugged them both and they laughed and smiled and talked about how Fang was gonna flip. I really hoped so.
