Walking out from the warp station and into the territory of Asgard, miles and miles of snowy forests greeted Bo. Among them, there were countless castles and fortresses.

Far away, there was a crystal clear spring, which was surrounded by a group of huge castles. The tallest castle had the color of shining gold and bright red.

That must be the Glaosheimr. Bo thought as she narrowed her eyes at it. It seemed to be floating in the clouds. The only thing that was connecting that castle and the ground was a long, sparkling rainbow.

Fascinated by the rainbow bridge, Bo pointed at it and murmured, "so that's...umm..."

"Bifrost," Tamsin reminded her the name of it.

"Right, beef-roast," Bo chuckled, earning a big eyeroll from the Valkyrie.

"Come on," Tamsin said and took the other woman's hand. "Let's go to my place first and leave our bags there. I'll give you a tour in a bit."

Soon they arrived at a big lake. With its water so clean and still, it looked like a large mirror. The reflection of the azure sky and the fluffy clouds created an illusion that was impossible for Bo to tell if she was underneath the sky, or if she was right beside it and looking down into it.

Tamsin stood there and chanted something in old Norse. Seconds later, a small ripple appeared on the surface of the lake.

The ripple slowly became bigger and bigger, and eventually it became big waves. Through the white crest, there came a small boat. It was wide in the middle and pointy at both ends, just like those viking boats Bo had seen in Trick's old books.

"Wow, I didn't know you could do that," Bo commented.

"Well, sweetheart," Tamsin smirked as she put her right arm around Bo's waist. She pulled the brunette closer and whispered into her ear, "there are a lot of things that you don't know about me."

"Really?" Bo hummed, slowly running her index finger along the Valkyrie's neckline. "Like what?"

"You'll find out soon, cuz I'm gonna whisper them to you in old Norse..." Tamsin said in a voice so soft that it tickled Bo's ear, "...between your legs."

Huffing out a light moan, Bo let the chuckling blonde hold her from behind. They shared a kiss, before they watched the boat slow down as it approached them.

It came to a full stop right before it hit the rocks. Tamsin threw their bags in first, and hopped. Then, she beckoned to Bo, and the brunette hopped into the boat too.

Tamsin chanted something softly, and the boat moved away from the bank and towards the other side of the lake.

A few minutes later, Bo saw a small dock. Behind it there was a lake house among the mature pine trees. The boat slowed down, docking itself to let them get out.

Carrying her backpack in her hand, Bo stood in front of the lake house. "It's nice," she commented as she looked at the wooden cabin.

Tamsin smiled and went to pick up a few logs that had fallen off from the firewood stack right next to the house. She restacked them, put the axe right next to a stump, before she opened the door.

Bo walked in, and Tamsin followed her. After closing the door behind them, she quickly started a fire in the fireplace to warm up the place.

Bo curiously checked out the entire house. It was a one story cabin, with one living room, one bedroom, one big bathroom and one small kitchen. There was also a big deck on the back.

Tamsin threw their bags into the closet in the bedroom and took off her jacket. She kicked her boots off to the side while watching Bo drooling over her bathtub.

"I think I like your tub," Bo said as she stared at the big tub. It was big enough for her to swim in there. Above it, there was a small window allowing whoever was in the tub to see the sky.

Bo shook her head. "I've only dated one Valkyrie."

"You really should have what?" Bo pursued, frowning at the other woman's hesitation.

Tamsin cleared her throat uncomfortably. "I so should have brought the ring with me," she blurted. Her heart started to pound desperately inside her chest as that word left her.

Bo bit her bottom lip as she let that word, ring, sink into her stomach. It immediately hatched into a swarm of butterflies. "You...have a ring? For me?" She asked.

Tamsin gave her a brief nod, too nervous to hold Bo's gaze now. "It's in my locker at work," she started to explain. "I bought it last week and..." She cleared her throat, unable to finish her sentence.

"But, you didn't bring it," Bo said softly as she held Tamsin's hand in hers. The blonde's hand felt a bit cold now and it was trembling.

Tamsin answered her with an embarrassed, frustrated groan.

A moment of silence devoured both of them, before Bo said, "well…."

"W-well?" Tamsin muttered, unconsciously clasping her fingers with Bo's.

"If you had brought it, I would have said-" Bo drawled, pausing deliberately while raising her eyebrows at Tamsin. She felt bad immediately for making the Valkyrie even more nervous, so she quickly added, "-yes."

If she hadn't had an idea of how much that word would mean to Tamsin, she had now, since she could clearly see those flames of joy burning in the Valkyrie's light eyes.

Tamsin cupped Bo's face with her cold sweat coated hands. She pecked the brunette's lips and closed her eyes. She huffed out a light laugh, and murmured, "so you would have said yes? You would?'

"Mhm," Bo whispered, reassuring her with a kiss.

"Shit," Tamsin whined. "Fuck me. I was gonna bring it but...I thought it might be-oh fuck me!"

Bo chuckled and ran her fingers on Tamsin's, before she held the Valkyrie's right hand up. "Don't you have one here?" She asked as she rubbed her thumb on the ring Tamsin had always worn on her index finger.

Tamsin chuckled breathlessly as she took off her ring. She held it up and paused there, blankly staring at the reflections of all the stars on its metal surface while wondering if her throat was closing up right now because she could hardly breathe.

She swallowed her heart back into her chest and forced herself to look at the other woman in her eyes. "So umm...so," she started. "Bo, will you marry me?"

"Yes," Bo replied firmly with a lip biting smile as she took the ring. Unfortunately, that ring didn't fit any single finger of hers, and they both laughed.

"Here," Tamsin suggested as she took off Bo's necklace and put the chain through the ring. She didn't realize that she was shivering this hard until she found herself having a hard time putting the clasp of the necklace back together behind Bo's neck.

"Just...keep that for now and I'll give you that real one when we get back," she explained.

Bo nodded in chuckles. "Calm down, Valkyrie," she whispered to the other woman as she tried to hold her own butterflies in place.

Tamsin grunted something vague and held her tight. She buried her face into the other woman's shoulder and took a deep breath. "Bo…" she called in a whisper.

"What?" Bo answered, her voice soft like the starlight.

Tamsin just shook her head and snuggled closer to her. She slid her hand into the Bo's and intertwined their fingers together.

Then, it was just them and the stars. It was just two heartbeats becoming one.

A/N: I'm gonna stop updating this story for now, since I am running low on smut ideas and I have other three Valkubus fics to write. Though, I will not say for sure that this is the end of this fic. It's a lot of fun to write smut, and I do want to write more Valkubus sex, so if I have more ideas and more time, I will probably come back and continue this fic :)
