After her encounter with Scar, Kya dreaded the hours that passed by. The constantly looked at the sky and noticed that the more she did, the more the sun continued to set. She thought of fleeing but the hyenas surrounded every border of Pride Rock. What does he want with me? she thought. I never did anything to him. I complied to his demands, I never went against his orders. Well, if she counted the times where she hunted with the lionesses when she was not supposed to. Had he found out about that.

No Kya thought. If he had, they would have been in trouble a long time ago. She rested her head on her paws and let out a sigh. Her mind always travelled to what Scar wanted to do with her. Ever since he became king, Scar was always intrigued with Nala when she grew into a beautiful lioness, but now that she was gone, he looked at her. Her eyes widened when her mind traveled to the worst thing that was to happen to a female. Was that it? she thought.

She quickly stood on her paws and shook. Oh please, please, please, no. She was suddenly on the verge of crying when Sarabi walked up to her. "Kya," she spoke with a sympathetic look on her face.

Kya allowed her tears to stain the sides of her fur. She couldn't hold it anymore, "Sarabi," her voice shook as she walked close to her, "I-know-what-he-wants-with-me," she quickly spoke, "please-don't-let-him-do-this-to-me!" she cried.

"Kya, Kya," Sarabi gently spoke and rubbed her head against her, "I will do everything in my power to stop him. As long as I am here, he is not going to touch you."

Kya did not feel so secure. She could still feel those evil green eyes lingering over her, shining with pleasure when she was in this tortured state. "Please," she looked up at the queen, "I cannot do this. Oh God I'm so scared."

Her discomfort caught the attention of Sarafina and Nalia. The two lionesses walked up to Sarabi and Kya and they could only give Kya sympathetic looks. Nalia wanted to say something to Kya but was afraid that something stupid was going to come out of her mouth. She did not have an idea what Scar had told her but seeing the distraught look on Kya's face she knew.

"Look Kya," Sarabi spoke with a serious tone, "you have to stand up to him."

"But what if he hits me?" she asked.

"We have all been hit by him and here we are," Sarabi told her, "we have lost some strong lionesses in our pride but we are still here. I know that Mufasa is looking down on us and doing anything he can, whatever he can with his spirit to help us get through his brother's reign. I know that he is looking out for the pride, but he is also looking out for you."

Kya nodded her head but her comfort was cut short by an angry voice behind her. She jumped to her paws and hid behind Sarabi as she looked at the surprised hyena. "Scar wants ta see ya know," the hyena informed her.

Sarabi stepped forward and looked into the hyena's yellow eyes, "you tell your king that there has been a change of plans."

"Your loss of everything queenie," he gruffly said as he went to inform Scar about Kya's rejection.

Kya shook her head and continued to hide behind Sarabi. "I really don't have a good feeling about this."

Sarabi turned her head and looked at her. "Kya everything will be fine. He is not going to hurt you." The queen turned her head and looked at the open mouth of the cave as a loud roar echoed throughout Pride Rock. Get ready Sarabi she thought as her claws came out from her paws do whatever you can to protect her.

Scar did not walk towards them as he usually did. This time, he ran with fury and Sarabi was ready for him. Seeing his state, Nalia and Sarafina stood by Sarabi's side to do whatever they could to help. Scar approached close to them and roared, "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" His scream made Kya cower in fear.

"You are not going to hurt Kya," Nalia spoke up as she stood in front of him.

Scar roared and scratched Nalia across the face, causing her to scream in pain. Nalia swiped her paw over her injury and saw blood on it but before she could look up, Scar leaped towards her and began to bite her wherever he could. Nalia flung her claws at Scar but he was quick to react. He blocked every single attack that she threw him and yet, he managed to hurt her.

"Look at what you've done to one of your friends," Scar seethed as he looked at Kya. He held a clawed paw in the air and another paw on Nalia's throat. "I am going to give you one last chance," he said and looked at her, "give yourself to me or I will end the life of this pathetic lioness."

"She will never give herself up to you," Nalia hoarsely said before Scar swiped another clawed paw across her face.

"Quiet you," Scar ordered. He turned his head, looked at Kya, and heavily breathed. "One...two..." he counted and Kya leaped away from Sarabi and over to him. He smiled at her and released Nalia. "Good choice," he calmly told her with a malicious smile. "Now, why don't you be a good little girl and come to my cave." He proceeded to walk forward and Kya followed.

Kya turned her head and looked at her friends and mouthed a "I'm sorry" to them, especially to Nalia who almost sacrificed herself. Nalia slowly got up from the ground and cleared her throat. Every single part of her body was covered with bite marks and scratch marks and it pained her. "Someone help me to the cave," she seethed as she looked up at Pride Rock.

Sarabi held her paw in front of Nalia. "You need to rest and stay away from him," Sarabi told her, "he has damaged you enough."

"I am not going to let some tyrant torture Kya!" Nalia yelled at her.

"There's nothing we can do," Sarafina told her, "he has taken her and we can't stop him. If we go up there, he is going to kill all of us."

"He can kill me as much as he wants but I am not going to let him do anything to her," she growled through her teeth and looked up at Pride Rock. She tried to walk forward but when she did, her front paw bent underneath her. She groaned in pain and fell to her side. She had to get up there and save Kya, but her body wouldn't move.

Kya shivered when she saw Scar walking around her in a circle. He looked at every single inch of her body from her nose all the way to her paws. Her posture was nice and erect, the shape of her ears were perfect, her eyes were beautiful, and to Scar's standards, she was obedient and easy to manipulate. "Nice," he commented and walked closer to her, "very nice."

You have to stand up to him Sarabi's voice echoed in her mind. If she did, she was going to run away and never return. She looked up at Scar and waited for him to make another witty comment. "I must say my dear, your friend really put up a good fight. I must say, it was ver wise of you save her."

Stand up to him she thought. "That was uncalled for."

"Of course it was," Scar agreed with her, "your friend made a very simple-minded choice but I am willing to let it go."

"That's not what I meant," Kya spoke but she noticed her voice starting to shake, "it was not necessary for you to hurt her."

"She had it coming a long time ago," Scar informed her, "but let's not talk about your friend. I would like to talk about you," he walked and his tail swiped against her chin. "What I saw from you was potential."

Kya gave him a confused look. She thought that he was going to hurt her but he was not doing anything to her yet?

"I see that we are a little confused," he said noticing her expression, "allow me to enlighten you. In a kingdom, there is a king and a queen. The queen has to be obedient to the kings needs and she does not have a say in anything that the king wishes to do."

"But queen Sarabi-" she spoke.

"Do not interrupt!" Scar gruffly said, "'queen' Sarabi is not a queen anymore, therefore she does not have a say in anything that I do. You on the other hand, have a wonderful opportunity."

Kya took a deep breath. Stand up for yourself Sarabi's voice told her once more. Maybe she could just save herself. "I don't care what opportunities you have to offer. I am not going to let you do anything to me."

When she said that, Scar snapped. She is starting to turn against me he thought just like the rest of them! I am not going to let this lioness ruin my chances at having an heir. He quickly turned around and hit her with the back of his paw. The force was so powerful that Kya was lifted from the ground and she fell back with a violent thud.

Zazu, who watched from his small jail cell, gasped when he witnessed the abuse.

This was what Kya feared. He was going to hurt her and she was scared. Her courage drained out of her as she looked up and saw Scar towering over her. "Will you obey or shall I give you another swat?" he asked her.

Do your best she thought but she found herself quickly shaking her head. She stood up on her paws but retreated to the nearest corner of the cave and pushed herself against the wall as much as she could. Scar growled when he saw her do that. He did not have the time to play such games with her. He was going to do what he had planned and he was going to execute it no matter how uncomfortable she was.

"Get over here," he growled as he walked up to her, grabbed her ear with his teeth, and dragged her away from the wall.

Kya shouted from the pain that was pressed upon her ear. When Scar released it, Kya's paw quickly swiped over it and she noticed blood dripping from it. "Oooh," Scar said in a 'sympathetic' voice, "I seem to have hurt you. I shall take care of it," he said as he walked close to her and slowly began to lick her ear.

Kya had the urge to stop him but the way he licked her gave her a tingling sensation that felt good. Then, she felt his tongue slowly swiping against her cheek and then to the side of her neck. Her breath quickened but before she could react, Scar placed his paws on her shoulders and pinned her to the ground. She looked up and him and saw a look sadistic pleasure in his green eyes and then she knew what was about to happen.

She began to panic. "No," she breathed and began to squirm under his grip. The more she moved, the deeper his claws sank into her flesh. "Stop it! Please no!" she yelled, "I-I-"

"Oh hush up," Scar ordered, "if you don't do as you're told, your friend will never see another sun rise."

"She is not-" Kya yelled but was silenced with a slap across the face.

"Be quiet!" Scar yelled, "you are going to produce an heir for me whether you like it or not!" he growled just before he positioned himself and took everything away from her.

Kya's eyes bulged open and then a pain rushed up inside her. That pain was followed by a curdling scream.

The scream echoed throughout Pride Rock as each and every single lioness and hyena looked up. Sarabi sighed and bowed her head to the ground, Sarafina sadly shook her head, and Nalia, who had gotten up from the ground, looked at the ground. She shut her eyes and tears escaped from her face and fell to the ground.
