Chapter 10

"I have to wonder if you knew I was about to send for you, Mr. Potter. Something on your mind?" Gabranth asked the teenage wizard as he shut the door to his office, walking back around to his desk to sit while the raven haired teen sat down opposite of him.

"You needed to see me, Your Honor?" Harry tilted his head in confusion.

"I did. I just received word from Madam Bones that your godfather is now in her custody. We will be bringing him to light at the Wizengamot's emergency meeting this Sunday. I know the Yule Ball is being held the Tuesday after so this will take away some of your prep time for the ball, but if you would like, I can take you to the trial."

"Dumbledore would probably try to stop me from leaving."

"True, but he has no say in if you can leave or not. Remember, while not the Potter Lord, you are lord to all four school founders as well as an Ancestral House, The Perverell House. I know you wanted to keep your lordships quiet for as long as possible so I will not force you to go. While your presence isn't required, I wanted to extend the invitation in case you were wanting to attend."

"As much as I would like to, if only to prove that he was innocent, I must decline. I cannot let my Lordships be known just yet. Do you know who would be-"

"It would be one of the Judge Elders that will be presiding over the case of your godfather. Something of this magnitude requires an absolute, and no one is above the magically chosen Elders of Bermuda, even Dumbledore, a former Elder himself cannot change the ruling."

"Dumbledore was a Judge?" Gabranth nodded.

"Yes, back before I was even a cadet, before the Blood War. He was banished from his station just after the end of World War 2. I'm not privy to that information, so I cannot elaborate, however I do know that while Dumbledore is magically more powerful than myself, he cannot fight the voice of a judge anymore."

"That's both amazing and scary."

"It can be, however, without magic itself backing him he has no power over the Judge's Voice. I remember witnessing the power of the judge's voice only once. Elder Judge Gaius gave a guilty verdict to a man that almost destroyed the academy in his bid to gain absolute power. He had killed countless people, all in the sake of using them to gain power. The man was stripped of his magic and banished into Tartarus."

"But can't it be abused? Can't you pretty much do whatever you want with that kind of power?" Gabranth chuckled, leaning back comfortably.

"Normally you would be correct, however, this is not mere Charmspeak that your friend Ms. Brown has been learning on the side of her healing magic. This is the Goddess Hecate herself, speaking through the voice of the judge, sort of like a possession."

"For example, take Adolf Hitler, he led his country to commit genocide. If an elder were to judge him and use the voice to sentence him, then the Goddess would intervene, judge Hitler and then decide his punishment in place of the judge."

"That's… Very scary."

"Scary enough that I hope to not have to worry about you being on the receiving end of it. Now, I've told you why I was about to send for you, why don't you tell me what you wanted to see me for?" Harry frowned, his fists clenched.

"I… I want to know if something is true. You are the leading expert here in my opinion about the different magical races. A friend of mine gave me a book to read in my spare time and… Well, here, maybe I should just let you see it." Harry fished the book Astoria had given him out of his bag, handing it over to the Judge Magister. "Chapter one." Gabranth opened the book and sighed.

"So you suspect someone of being a succubus or incubus?" The raven haired teen nodded. "I trust you will not actively accuse them of such without proof?"

"Never. It is their right to tell about it, not mine. It's just, in the past, both magical and muggle, I've been told that Succubi and Incubi feed on the life force of their partners. That book clearly states they feed off magical energy instead." Gabranth eyed the boy from behind his helmet.

"The book speaks true, Mr. Potter. They feed off magic and not life force."

"And the legends about the Destined One, the Coven Bond…. Are those true as well." The armored man placed the book back on his desk and slid it towards the boy.

"They are. What is it you are really looking for, Harry?" The man asked the boy in a gentle tone, very uncommon to hear from the usually commanding man. Harry ran a hand through his raven hair.

"I…" Harry struggled to find the right words. The Judge eyed the boy, noticing the frustration in his eyes.

"Harry, just be honest and speak your mind. I will allow it this one time without repercussions." Harry eyed the man before him, worried but took a deep breath.

"Do you know why Susan's afraid to tell me about the Bond and her true heritage?" Gabranth smiled, noting the concern in the young man's voice as he nodded.

"As you've no doubt witnessed, those that are half human and half demon are looked down upon, a majority of them being labeled as Dark Creatures. As you have stated yourself, the lore about succubi and incubi has been butchered between the two worlds. That is already cleared up. Now, before going too far, tell me why you suspect there is a bond and why Ms. Bones?" Harry's face gained a slight red tint to it.

"I… I don't suspect it, Your Honor. I can feel it." Gabranth nodded.

"For how long have you been able to feel it?"

"Subconsciously, I think it was just before I went up against the Horntail. Consciously, I would say last night when the book started to point things out that I've noticed between Daphne, Lavender, Susan and just recently Tracey."

"And why do you think it's been since the Horntail?"

"At first, I was just chalking it up to just being around her so much. I almost always felt like I could feel how she was feeling at the time. Now, however, I can feel the strength of the bond with her after a bit of meditation. While not as strong as a complete bond according to the book, I'm able to tell what the girls are feeling on a base level as long as I concentrate on that bond."

"This is one fantastic book, Harry, and as far as I'm aware, very accurate. A friend of mine was actually married to a Succubus so I was able to learn a lot about their nature and culture. I'm sure you know that once it is finalized that you can actually feel them more actively and even communicate with them?"

"That's what the book hinted, yes. When I tried to feel the bond last night for the first time it took me some time to separate each of them from each other. When I met with them for breakfast, I could feel Susan's hesitation, even though she hid it well."

"I see. Harry, the only theory I can give you is this. Susan fears what your reaction will be. Her race is already painted in a dark light thanks to those that take things too far. She doesn't want you to think she's like them. She fears that, should she come out and say it, you will reject her." Harry sighed.

"I thought so… at least I know the reason. Thank you, Judge Magister."

"Harry, I will ask you not to be cross with her. In my eyes, her mindset is understandable. Also, regarding your Coven Bond, do not be cross with her about that either. She might be taking the decision on who you want as your wives away from you regarding this but this is only due to her instincts and magic trying to build a family that is ideal for both of you." Harry laughed, standing to his feet.

"If anything, I'll be thanking her. I was rubbish with talking to girls before Susan, Lavender and Daphne while a vast majority of the school has always seen me as nothing more than the Boy-Who-Lived. I'm perfectly ok with trusting her instincts."

"Even if you like a woman that her instincts tell her otherwise?"

"Your Honor, not that I would actually do it, but ever since that damned dragon almost killed her, I can honestly say without a doubt that I would burn this world to the ground if it meant she was happy, healthy and safe."

"Hahahaha, let us hope it does not come to that, Mr. Potter. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

"Actually yes. I recently found out that one of my classmates is a Yuki Onna. The amulet that helped her survive warm climates was… tampered with and no longer works in her best interest. Would you happen to have any ideas on how to get one?"

"What student? I will need to get in touch with their parents to tell them the situation."

"Pansy Parkinson… But please be cautious. I do not believe they have the best intentions towards their daughter… There was a rune that forced heat inward with the flare of certain people's magic. You can send me the bill and I'll pay for it all."

"I see. I will be discreet then. I can have one made and delivered by tomorrow night. I'll foot the bill and you pay me back, if that is agreeable? Also, can I know the name of the ones that tampered with her amulet." Harry nodded.

"That would work wonderfully and no need to worry about them. I've dealt with them and given them a warning already. No one is going to put harm to those in my castle anymore if I can stop it. Good day, Judge Magister." The raven haired teen bowed to the man and made his way for the door. Gabranth watched the young lord leave his office, a proud smile on his face.

"Lilith, Lily, you would both be proud of that young man… Guess I better get ready to pay up to Amelia, eh Tink?" The small fairy flew down from her hiding spot in the rafters and landed on the man's shoulder.

"Told you not to take that bet."

"Aye, you did… Did you sense it this time?" Tink frowned, nodding her head.

"I did. His scar is holding very powerful tainted Magic… I would almost say Necromancy of some sort." Gabranth sighed, leaning back into his chair.

"Our work is never done. Anyway, let us get these papers finished. We have a busy two weeks ahead of us."

X Slytherin Suite X

"Ah, Harry, there you are." Susan smiled brightly on seeing the teen return to his home. "I just got a letter from Aunty. Sirius's trial is this Sunday." Harry smiled, nodding as Tracey, Astoria and Pansy blinked in surprise, the resident snowwoman speaking the question on their minds.

"Sirius? As in Sirius Black? They caught him?"

"Turned himself in actually." Lavender announced, eyes not moving from her magazine. "Turns out, Peter Pettigrew actually faked his death and did everything that Sirius is being accused of."

"Also, Pansy, I spoke with Grabranth about a new amulet for you. He says it'll be here tomorrow night at the earliest, just in time for you girls to go shopping in Hogsmede."

"You work fast, Harry. My sister, Tracey, Susan, Lavender and now Pansy? Should I be concerned about my virtue as well?" Astoria grinned teasingly at the man, ducking to avoid the pillow Daphne had thrown at her.

"I'll let you be the judge of that, Astoria. Anyway, if it's not too much trouble, think you girls can help me update my wardrobe when we go on Friday?" Lavender's face shot up from her magazine to look at Harry, a gleam in her eye.

"You couldn't have picked a better group of girls, Harry. By the time we're done, you'll be the best looking man of both worlds!"

"Leave the formal wear to me please, I will not let my boyfriend look anything less than perfect when it comes to his station." Daphne recommended, her mind already working on colors and designs. Astoria giggled, looking to Harry with a grin.

"Doomed." The teen laughed, heading towards his room.

X Gabranth's Office: Day of the Trial X

"Mr. Potter, I trust your week went well?" Harry nodded to the armored teacher, walking into the office as the Judge closed the door. With the shopping trip the girls had taken him on, Harry now had more fitting clothing. He had a pair of black dress shoes, black slacks and a white dress shirt with an emerald and black striped tie under a black dragon hide vest.

"Yes sir, and thank you again for getting a new amulet for Pansy. She sends her thanks as well." The man waved it off.

"Think nothing of it. Yuki Onna are very vulnerable in warm climates and with how the house elves keep the castle's hearths and halls warm, she was in danger. Now, what can I do for you? I must be leaving shortly for the trial."

"I was wondering if you could hand this letter to Madam Bones. From what Daphne has been teaching me about the Wizengamot, I have assigned proxies for each of my houses. This should shake things up a bit in the court and not reveal who I am just yet." Alexander Gabranth Bones chuckled, taking the letters in hand.

"Very well. It'll be interesting to see the reactions."

X Ministry of Magic X

"All rise! This emergency meeting of the Wizengamot, 23rd of December is now in session!" All the members of the court stood, watching as the Minister, his Undersecretary and Madam Bones made their way to their seats, Dumbledore's eyes scanning the room.

"Chief Warlock for the Court Albus Dumbledore presiding. Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge, Director of Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Ameila Bones, Regent of the House of Bones. Judge Magister in attendance is Judge Magister Gabranth of Bermuda Kingdom."

"Please, be seated." Albus called out, allowing all of those present to sit. "Before we begin, as customary, are there any who wish to claim any seats upon this governmental body?" Gabranth raised his hand. "Yes Judge Magister?"

"I would like to ask this December body to hold this moment until the end as there may or may not be a Lord in our presence but has not been properly acknowledged." Albus eyed the man but Amelia stood to her feet.

"As my right as Regent Bones and Director of the DMLE, I second the motion."

"Regent Longbottom agrees of the motion as well."

"Very well, though unusual, we shall hold seat claims until towards the end of this session. I now turn the proceedings to Madam Bones as she has called for this emergency session." Amelia looked around the room, still standing as she took a deep breath.

'Here we go.' "Lords and Ladies of the Wizengamot, I called you all here today to correct an act of injustice! One of our own, a lord of a most ancient and most noble house, for the past thirteen years has been falsely imprisoned and hunted down like a rabid dog." Whispers broke out among the gathering as Tink appeared on Gabranth shoulder, the armored man nodding and walking forward.

"I have come across proof of not only his innocence, but those involved in this scandal that I will hope to bring to light today." Amelia noticed her brother having neared, leaning down listen to his whisper only for her eyes to widen. She nodded and the man turned to address the crowd.

"All rise for Judge Elder Gaius and Master Elder Yamamoto." The power and magic in Gabranth's voice forced everyone to stand, even Dumbledore, his eyes wide open in shock as the doors burst open, being held by a pair of Judges as two men walked into the courtroom. Gabranth turned and bowed at the waist.

The first was a man with tanned skin, crimson colored eyes and black hair that framed his face. He wore a long black waist coat with purple trim, over a black vest with a white dress shirt and black tie. His feet were covered by a pair of boots and his hands covered by a pair of black gloves.

The other man was old, bald and had a beard to rival Albus Dumbledore. In his right hand he held a staff that made an audible tap against the floor. He was dressed in a black hamaka with a white haori and a pair of Japanese sandals.

"Albus Dumbledore, please step down and assume your spot as head of the Dumbledore family. This court is now in the control of the Bermuda Judges." Albus frowned but did as asked, the old man taking his place as Gaius stood next to him. "Be seated."

"What is the meaning of this? Who are you to interrupt these proceedings?!" A woman dressed in pink glared at the old man.

"Under Secretary Umbridge, sit down and remain silent. You are in the presence of Master Elder Judge Yamamoto and Elder Judge Gaius. By right of magic, their authority is above all but the gods." Gabranth growled at the woman getting her to sit back in her seat and glower at the man.

"As Madam Bones was announcing, we are here today to have a trial. The man in question is Lord Sirius Orion Black. Bring in the accused." Yamamoto tapped his cane on the floor, the echo causing many to flinch as the Aurors brought the man in, setting him in the chair in the center of the room.

"What is he doing here!? Why was I not informed he'd been captured!?"

"Silence." The tanned man spoke, his voice stern and powerful as Fudge gulped at the glare he was getting. "Minister Fudge, it has already come to our attention that your government has allowed a man to sit in that prison of yours without trial for far too long. As Elder Judge, I pray that we do not learn you were in anyway responsible."

"This trial will now commence. Defendant Lord Sirius Orion Black. Elder Judge Gaius and Master Elder Judge Yamamoto presiding. Scribe of the court Percivell Weasley. Does the Defendant have any legal council?"

"Theodore Tonks, Law Wizard of Record for the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Black." A man with brown hair and hazel eyes stepped forward from the witness room.

"Very well. Lord Sirius Black, you have been charged with following." Yamamoto nodded to Gaius, the man beginning to announce the charges.

"Murder of Peter Pettigrew, the murder of 13 mundane, accessory to the murder of Lord and Lady Potter, prison break-"

"Objection, Elder Judge!" Ted called out, getting the man's attention.

"Grounds, Law Wizard?"

"My client was never given a trial for his crimes and was falsely imprisoned in Azkaban without being convicted of his crimes. As such, he has been held captive by the ministry as little more than a hostage rather than a convicted criminal. I ask for the court to strike the charge of Prison Break." Gaius looked towards Madam Bones.

"Madam Bones, can you confirm that no trial has taken place?"

"I can Elder Judge Gaius. From an outside source I was informed of Lord Black not having a trial before he was tossed into prison. I have checked the court archives and can confirm no transcripts of said trial exist and can swear an oath that it is so." Yamamoto's eyes narrowed.

"Who sentenced him without trial?"

"My predecessor, Bartmetius Crouch Sr and Former Minister Millicent Bagnold. However, Lady Bagnold's involvement at the time cannot be confirmed as she has passed away some time ago."

"Judge Nyx, find and detain Mr. Crouch on charges of misuse of office and the attempted murder of a Most Ancient and Most Noble Lord."

"Excuse me Master Elder but isn't that a bit excessive?" Dumbledore watched as one of the escort Judges vanished from the room.

"That depends, Lord Dumbledore, do the dementors still reside within Azkaban? If so, then no, it is not. Just one mistake could have taken the life of Lord Black without notice. Dementors must be firmly controlled and even then, they are not reliable guards when hungry."

"The wards-"

"It only takes one grain of rice to tip the balance, Lord Dumbledore. The Judges have advised your government to banish those demons time after time and you have ignored us. There could have been someone with an axe to grind that could have taken Lord Black's life with but a single change in the wards and magic surrounding your prison. My charges stand, you will sit."

"Very well, Master Elder." Dumbledore sat in his seat.

"Elder Gaius, the DMLE is happily willing to revoke the charge of prison break." The man nodded.

"Very well. The final charges are, the attempted murder of Harry James Potter, attempted murder of Ronald Bilious Weasley, attempted murder of Hermione Jane Granger, attempted murder of Remus John Lupin and attempted murder of Severus Tobias Snape. Resisting arrest, breaking and entering, destruction of Hogwarts property and finally, illegal use of magic on minors."

"Lord Black, how do you plea to these charges as they have been read?"

"Before I answer, Master Elder, can you specify the destruction of Hogwarts property?"

"From the details I have here," Gaius spoke up, reading the parchment before him, "you destroyed a student's bed and damaged the portrait of the Gryffindor Tower guardian The Fat Lady." Sirius nodded.

"Ah, yes of course. And what of Breaking and entering?"

"Breaking into the school and Gryffindor Tower."

"I plea not guilty, however, I will admit guilty to the destruction of property and breaking and entering."

"So it is said, let it be noted." Percy Weasley nodded making sure his dicta quill got everything. "Law Wizard Tonks, I understand the defendant is willing to accept Truth Serum to testify?"

"Yes Master Elder."

"I see. Very well, Magister Gabranth, please administer the standard amount of Truth Serum to Lord Black." The armored man came forward and held up a bottle of clear liquid.

"I will be administering three drops of Veritaserum, no more." The man tilted the bottle allowed three drops to fall into Sirius's waiting mouth. "To test that the serum is working, please state your full name and title for the record."

"Sirius Orion Black, Lord of the Most Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, former Auror First Class and Godfather to Harry James Potter, Heir of House Potter." Gabranth nodded and turned to his superiors.

"The serum is in effect."

"Lord Black, were you the Secret Keeper for the late Lord and Lady Potter?"

"No, it was Peter Pettigrew. I was supposed to be the decoy while keeping Pettigrew out of the spotlight."

"Who performed the Fidelious Charm over the Potter household?"

"Lady Lily Potter cast the charm making Pettigrew the Secret Keeper. Originally it was to be Lord Dumbledore."

"Did you kill Peter Pettigrew and the thirteen mundane you are accused of?"

"No. Pettigrew did. He used a Bombarda Maxima Curse after declaring that I killed James and Lily, killing the muggles. He then cut off his finger, hit me with a cheering charm and tickling charm before turning into a rat and entering the sewers."

"Were you attempting to murder Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley, Remus Lupin or Severus Snape?"

"No. I will admit I was trying to murder Pettigrew to make an honest man out of what the Ministry made of me but Harry stopped me before I could."

"We will not count that against you. Did you use any magic on the mentioned students?"

"A healing charm on Ronald Weasley's leg after I had used my animagus form to drag him and Pettigrew, still a rat, into the tunnel under the whomping willow and to the Shrieking Shack. Other than that, no and that includes all the students that were attending Hogwarts at that time."

"How did you get into the castle and Gryffinor tower?"

"To enter the castle I used one of the few secret entrances that allowed one to come and go from outside Hogwart's wards. There is one inside the castle and one under the Whomping Willow. As for the tower I managed to come across a sheet of passwords that was dropped by a student. The last one allowed me entrance and I went up to the third year dorms to search for Pettigrew but couldn't find him."

"Any other questions?"

"How did you escape Azkaban?"

"Do not answer that. That charge has been dropped, Madam Umbridge. I will not allow you to fish for a reason to throw him back into that abomination you call a prison." Gaius interrupted before Sirius could speak.

"If I may, Elder Gaius, I would like to know if Lord Black is a registered animagus?" Gaius nodded at Malfoy's question, motioning for Sirius to answer that question.

"In official records I am not. However, during my time as an Auror, I was a part of a special task force under the Command of Master Auror Alastor "Mad Eye" Moody. He added the information to our files and used his authority to classify the information as Top Secret with only him and the Director of the DMLE able to access that information."

"I have another question for the defendant." Amelia was given the go ahead. "How did you escape confinement while at Hogwarts after being caught?" Dumbledore cursed at the question.

"Objection! The defendant was never convicted therefore the question is pointless!"

"Ah, but it will help my investigation into related topics, Lord Dumbledore. Master Elder?" Yamamoto eyed the former judge before nodding.

"I'll allow it. Lord Black, please answer the question."

"After waking up in the northern tower, Minister Fudge and Severus Snape both announced that the dementors would be paying me a visit as, known to everyone here, I was to be Kissed on Sight. Somehow, my Godson and Ms. Granger flew up to the tower on a hippogriff and broke me out. I've been in hiding ever since until I received a summons from Madam Bones about being granted a trail."

"Are you telling this court, Lord Black, that you had a Kiss on Sight order placed upon you by the Minister of Magic, NOT the DMLE, and that instead of a fair trial to discover your methods of escape and possible innocence you were going to be thrown directly to the dementors, regardless of the Chief Warlock's presence at the time?"

"Yes, Madam Bones."

"Gabranth, administer the antidote. We're done with him." The armored man stepped forward and placed a drop of the antidote on the man's tongue as Gaius turned to Fudge. "Judge Edge, detain former Minister Fudge for trial on the charges of misuse of office and attempted murder of a Lord of a Most Noble and Most Ancient House." The remaining Judge, a man with white hair with a lower-face mask and lightweight, black clothing came forward and grabbed the man, dragging him away before the man could speak.

"Unhand him at once! He," Gabranth tossed a Silence spell at the woman, glaring at her.

"Last warning Under Secretary Umbridge. Your next outburst will find you in contempt of court and you will be ejected from this room with a fine and loss of your station. Now remain silent unless called upon." The woman glowered at the man as the removed the spell.

"As is my right as Master Elder, I declare Augustus Longbottom, Regent of the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Longbottom, Temporary Minister of Magic of England. Regent Longbottom, please assume your rightful place so that we may continue with today's business."

"Of course, Master Elder, thank you for the honor." The woman stood from her chair and moved over to where Fudge formally sat. The court remained silent, even the glowering Dumbledore did not speak against anything happening.

"Sirius Orion Black, Lord of the Most Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. I, Master Elder Judge Yamamoto do hereby invoke the Judge's Voice, gift of the Goddess Hecate, the mother of magic." Yamamoto stood, power flooding the room as the old man's voice started to echo with a woman's.

"You are found innocent of all charges. The Ministry of Magic shall compensate you as follows. 1,300,000 Galleons, a public apology from the minister of magic, health screening and treatment paid for by the Ministry of Magic and your rightful place as Lord Black of the Wizengamot. So I, Hecate, decree, so it shall be." Magic burst from the old man and the suppressing feeling went away. Sirius nodded to his cousin in law and stood, stretching.

"Please take your rightful place as Lord of House Black, Lord Black. We have one more trial to get to."

"I object! Sirius Black is in no way mentally stable to take his seat. I propose a proxy be-"

"Denied, Doge! Get out of my Ancestral Chair and back to your minor house. I am perfectly healthy, those that gave me amnesty over the last year saw to that!" That man grit his teeth as he stood from the seat and stepped away. "And you, Mr. Cedric can remove yourself from the Potter House seat! You and I both know you were never assigned as proxy for the House of Potter, for Heir Potter was not able to assign one nor was I able to announce if I wanted to assign one as his Magical Guardian! Now beat it!"

"The DMLE shall investigate these claims on your behalf, Lord Black. If found to be true we shall be pulling all the bills sworn in over the last thirteen years for review and re-voting. As Heir Potter's magical Guardian, would you like to assign a Proxy at this time?" Amelia watched the man grin and shake his head.

"No, I will remain proxy for the house of Potter until such a time Heir Potter feels otherwise." Sirius took his seat and Yamamoto motioned for Fudge to be walked to the center of the room.

"Cornelius Oswald Fudge, you are charged with the following crimes." Gaius took over for the older man. Amelia stood from her seat, catching the man's attention.

"Elder Gaius, if I may read the charges against Minor Lord Fudge, I may have a few that you are unaware of."

"Proceed Madam Bones." The sadistic grin crossing the woman's face force the man to pale.

"Minor Lord Fudge, you are charged with the following: Attempted murder of Lord Sirius Orion Black, misuse of governmental power, child endangerment of the highest order, and wrongful imprisonment of Rubeus Hagrid."

"Cornelius Fudge, how do you plea?"

"Not guilty!" Gaius grunted nodding to Gabranth.

"Judge Magister, administer the standard dose of Veritiserum to Mr. Fudge." The man paled, the armored man walking forward and grabbed hold of the man's face as he struggled.

"Three drops shall be administered." Surprisingly steady, even with the struggling man, three drops landed on the man's tongue. "State your name for the record."

"C-C-Cornelius Oswald Fudge, former Minister of Magic and head of the minor house of Fudge." Gabranth nodded and Amelia was given the floor.

"Did you order the Dementors to search the Hogwarts Express for Sirius Black knowing that the train was filled with children?"

"Yes, Black was a known criminal and if he broke out of Azkaban once, he could do so again. The Kiss was the only alternative."

"Was there anyone that could control the Dementors present during the inspection of the train?"

"No. We gave them orders straight from my office." The outraged roars of the various parents and lords echoed the room. Yamamoto slammed the base of his staff on the floor to regain silence, allowing Amelia to continue.

"Why station Dementors at the school?"

"To kill Black."

"Were you aware Lord Black was sent to Azkaban without trial?"

"No, I thought he was guilty because he was sent there as soon as he was caught."

"Did you take Rubeus Hagrid to Azkaban without trial?"

"Yes, he had been convicted of opening the chamber last time so I figured it had to of been him!"

"No further questions, Master Elder." Yamamoto sighed into his hand, narrowing his eyes at the man in the center of the room.

"As my right of Master Elder, I find you guilty of all charges. You will pay a quarter of the current value of your entire estate to Lord Black and Rubeus Hagrid each, as well as issue a public apology to Lord Black and Rubeus Hagrid before being sentenced to 50 years in Azkaban. After your sentence has been served, you will never hold a governmental seat ever again. So it is said, so it is done." With a tap of his staff and a pulse of magic, the former minister was handed over to the auroras. "Is there anymore business that needs to be discussed at this time?"

"Just the acknowledgement of Lords which was put on hold until the end of business today."

"Very well, if there are any wishing to announce their claims or challenge, step to the center of the court and be heard!" Sirius stood up and made his way to the center of the room once more, Lucius Malfoy made his way down as well, glaring daggers at the Lord Black. "We shall start with Sirius Orion Black, do you wish to claim or challenge?"

"Claim Master Elder. I, Sirius Orion Black, son of Orion and Walburga Black, hereby claim the seat of the Most Noble and Most Ancient House of Black as Lord of the house!" The seat Sirius was sat in glowed brightly before dimming.

"As expected due to the results of your trail, your claim has been accepted. Lucius Malfoy, claim or challenge?"

"Challenge, Master Elder. Sirius Black was disowned from the House of Black and therefore has no claim to the Lordship or seat." The old man sighed with a shake of his head.

'I'm too old for this.' "Lord Black, can you defend your case?"

"Yes, Elder Gaius. My mother tried to have me disowned but the Lord at the time, my grandfather Lord Arcturus Black, refused her. She threw a fit and blasted my name off the tapestry but I was never disowned. In fact, my father, who would have been Lord Black, died before he could claim the title and it was passed down to me as the oldest male still alive. On my grandfather's passing I became Lord Black. To further prove my claim I bare the Lord's Ring of house Black and have been confirmed as Lord Black by Gringotts as well as magic itself if anyone had bothered to pay attention to my trial, Lucius."

Sirius raised his hand everyone saw the onyx colored ring on his finger. Gaius nodded turning to Lucius Malfoy, "Your challenge is denied, Lord Malfoy. Last call?"

"Master Elder, I have a letter of Proxy, given to me by the lords of multiple houses that is to be read by Madam Bones." The Judge Magister walked over and handed the letter over, whispering quietly to her. "He wants this kept quiet, you know how to play this." Amelia nodded, brow raised as she opened the letter, a pulse of magic flowing about the room as several seats began to glow, finally reactivated after many years of being unclaimed. Amelia looked over the letter, her eyes glinting mischievously.

Standing to her feet, she cleared her throat, speaking loudly as she held the letter before her eyes. "As is my right as lord of the Most Ancient and Noble Houses of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and the Ancestral House of Peverell, I hereby name the following individuals my proxies. For the houses of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin, I hereby name Remus John Lupin my proxy."

Sirius barked a hearty laugh as Remus was brought out of the witness box, looking at Sirius confusingly. "Remus John Lupin, do you-"

"Objection! Mr. Lupin is a werewolf and not allowed-"

"Overruled. There is no law in any country, ancient or new, that does not allow such. If one such rules exists here, it will be abolished immediately. Those of half-blood should NEVER be looked down upon. Now, as I was saying before being rudely interrupted," Yamamoto glared at Deloris Umbridge, the woman shrinking in her chair a bit.

"Do you accept your nomination of the houses of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin?" Remus blinked in surprise before looking at Sirius.

"What?"

"Just say yes and I'll explain in private. Trust me Moony."

"Very well, I accept."

"Then let it be known that Remus John Lupin is now Proxy for Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Madam Bones, please continue with the assignment of proxy for House Peverell."

"My proxy, for the Ancestral House of Peverell, shall be Regent Amelia Susan Bones, which I, Amelia Susan Bones, accept the position of proxy for the Ancestral House of Peverell." On their robes, the crest of the houses appointed appeared, the Hogwarts crest in the case of Remus.

"This is the final call for business."

"I would like to see the Letter of Proxy to confirm its validity." Dumbledore jumped to his feet, a dark look on his face as Madam Bones smirked at him.

"Lord Peverell thought you would try something and has given me permission to allow the senior Judge to look over the letter to check it himself as well as for any second opinions should someone protest its authenticity." Amelia handed the letter back to her brother, the man taking it to the Master Elder.

Yamamoto looked the letter over, chuckling at what was written as Gaius looked over his shoulder as a second pair of eyes.

To whom this may concern,

I, Harry James Potter, Lord of the Most Noble and Most Ancient Houses of Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, the Ancestral House of Peverell and Heir to the Most Noble and Ancient House of Potter, declare this letter as my Letter of Proxy.

To the senior Judge in attendance, if you are looking at this letter it means there are those that wish to contest my claims. I wish for my nominations to remain completely anonymous so I ask for you to not reveal my name to those that contest them. I have signed the letter using a bloodquill in the presence of my Gringotts Account Managers, Accountant Griphook and War Chief Ragnok, both of whom have cosigned at the bottom of this letter as witnesses.

"I have read the letter and confirm its validity. The nominations will stand as Lord Peverell has declared." The Master Elder called out, handing the letter back when he finished the part written for him and Gaius. "I once again call for any business needed to be addressed." Yamamoto waited several minutes before tapping his staff on the floor. "I call this December Emergency Session to a close. Enjoy your holiday and be forewarned that starting with January's session forward, a Judge will be attending each session to oversee the proceeding for some time. Dismissed."

"All rise!" Gabranth called, everyone standing and remaining in place until the Elders left, followed by their escorts. Once the Elder were gone everyone started to hurry out, Dumbledore walking over to Remus, Sirius and Gabranth as Amelia stood with them amused.

"Amelia, I wish to see that letter." The woman snorted, holding the letter up before pulling it away from Dumbledore's attempt to grab it. The woman placed the letter in her robe pocket, knowing her Anti Summoning runes on her robes would keep it safe.

"Well, you've seen it, Albus, now leave. I have a few things to discuss per my Lord's instructions and you were not listed as someone to know any of that information. Shall we speak in my office, Remus, Sirius?"

"I'm sure I can be of help to your lord as well as Harry, Sirius. I ask you let me attend."

"Forget it, Dumbledore. Harry's told me all about you leaving him with Petunia and trust me when I say that you are in for a hell of a ride to Azkaban." The group walked off, Dumbledore seething behind them.

"Ok, so we got a bloodstone, what now?" Tracey asked her fellow Slytherin as she studied the stone, using the table to keep herself stable while Lavender healed the heavily bleeding cut on her wrist.

"Now we need a place to conduct the ritual, and this Dragon Diamond." Tracey nodded removing her bloodstone amulet and biting into it with her fangs with the pleased groan, a shiver going up Susan's spine as a flash of her demonic side showed itself.

"Still leafing through my mother's journal. I know I've read about one before… AH HA!" Susan called out, getting everyone's attention. "A Dragon Diamond is the first ingredient needed in creating a Soul Stone, the unified gift of a succubus/incubus and their Destined One. I've left such a Diamond with your account manager and he will only hand it over under certain conditions." Lavender took the book from her, reading over the passage herself.

"Soul Stone? Never head of that before." Daphne wondered as Astoria looked through her own book. The Healer in training of the Coven flipped through the pages, coming to a stop.

"Here it is. Soul Stones: to create one, the succubus must mix their blood and magic with that of their Destined One, by pouring their blood into a pure silver chalice (cannot be conjured, transmutated or transfigured). After filling the chalice, a Dragon Diamond must be added before the succubus/incubus and mate will need to channel their magic into the chalice while using the… Mind's Desire spell?"

"Isn't that the spell you've been using on instinct? The spell that threw me into that illusion of you and Harry sandwiching me and Daphne between the two of you?"

"TRACEY!" Daphne looked mortified as her little sister began rolling on the floor in laughter while Lavender giggled at the grin on the vampire's face, Susan smirking a little bit.

"Yeah, that's the one. I've finally gotten to the point where I don't have to avoid eye contact anymore."

"Don't count your blessings yet, girls." Lavender sighed in frustration as she rubbed her forehead. "We need to sneak off to Gringotts, we're lucky enough that Susan's mother thought ahead and left one with them. The formula is calling for this, and these diamonds aren't easy to get. An average sized Dragon Diamond is about the size of my hand."

"Ugh, and we still need to figure out how to get the Werewolf blood." Astoria shook her head, having calmed down from her sister's embarrassment.

"Lycan, not werewolf, there is a difference, sister. A Lycan can transform at will and has absolute control over themselves. Their wolf form also looks exactly like a wolf and not the disfigured human/wolf hybrid that you would see with werewolves. Lycans are also more in-tune with their more… animalistic mindset."

"Meaning?" Astoria flipped a page in her book.

"They are at one with their instincts. They can smell, see and hear much better than humans. They are stronger, faster and even have a more primal mindset."

"So basically, it's a wolf, less sexual version of Susan?" Astoria chuckled as Daphne threw a balled up piece of paper at her best friend, smiles on everyone's faces.

"Somewhat. Sex for a Lycan is more of a show of dominance at times whereas Succubi and Incubi have sex for sustenance, procreation and power."

"No wonder Susan's gotten so much stronger lately. She's been feeding from Lavender and recently myself for a while now."

"Can I join next time? I won't bite… much…" Daphne sighed, shaking her head as Lavender rubbed her forehead.

"Where's Harry when you need him?"

"Not naked and in bed, unfortunately."

"Damn it Tracey!"

"You're welcome for the image my dear Ice Queen." Astoria, Susan and Lavender all watched in amusement as the elder Greengrass chased her best friend with a blush on her face.

"So, who's going to be heading to Gringotts?" Astoria flipped another page in her book.

"I'll be going hands down since it's my account manager that we have to speak to. If any of you wish to come, I'm sure we can get there and back before too long. Harry did say he'd be gone most of the day with something and there is still a few hours before the bank closes."

"Will you be alright sneaking out of the castle?"

"Of course, love. Harry left the map here with us so it shouldn't be an issue at all. I'm curious however as to what he's been up to lately. He's spent the last few days out late." Astoria hid her smile behind her book.

'Oh if you only knew.'

And that's a wrap! Good? Bad? Wanna murder me? I'm sorry.

Anyway hope you've enjoyed it. Now, for the most important AN I've ever had to make...

HELP! I suck at dresses! That's right folks, I need your help with coming up with dresses for Daphne, Susan, Tracey and Lavender! Astoria and Pansy will not be attending the Ball due to unexpected events which will be revealed next chapter for Astoria, and Pansy not wanting to be around Malfoy.

Now, the Ball will not be next chapter, but I'll still need the ideas and advice. Susan will need a backless style dress, but it needs to be sexy and seductive, nothing slutty. That is the only requirement: sex and seductive, not slutty or whorish.

Also, the first three people (not guests) who can guess who each Judge is except Yamamoto and Grabranth (obviously), will be allowed one free question that I will answer in complete honesty about the story.

The winning dress will get a shout out and a question as well.

Thanks everyone!
