It's been an hour already and the natives down there are getting restless", Lanie said and looking at Martha.

"Where do you think he is?", Martha questioned, looking at Kate.

"I don't know. When I spoke to him last, he said he was less than 20 minutes away", Kate replied, dialing his number.

"This is Richard Castle. Leave me a message"

"Straight to voicemail", Kate said.

The out of nowhere, Kate's phone rang.

"Hello? Yes this is she", Kate replied, shock washing all over her face.

Without another word, Kate hurried downstairs, towards the next best car available. Even before the car stopped, Kate rushed out the vehicle towards what happened to be her biggest nightmare.

In front of her eyes appeared what happened to be the burning wreckage of Rick's car. Tears began to stream down her face, mouth gaping wide open. This couldn't be happening. Not on her special day. Not when she wanted to marry the man of her dreams.

Kate's eyes shot open and a hand flew across her mouth. Loud sobs escaped her body.

"Hey", a voice whispered and arms wrapped around her.

Kate opened her eyes again, it was dark.

"Kate, babe, what hapened?", a voice beside her asked.

Kate froze.

"Castle?", she croaked out and turned her head.

She touched his head, just in case that she was dreaming and he was going to disappear again. Castle looked at her worriedly.

"You are alive!"

"Yeah, why shouldn't I be?"

"I- I thought you were dead",Kate replied, shocked.

"Me dead? How come?"

"Your car, it caught fire and I saw it and it was horrible"

Castle sighed deeply before wrapping his arms around his wife.

"You had a nightmare, everything is alright. I am right here"

Kate blinked. She was in bed with Castle, in the Hamptons. Her eyes wandered down towards her hand. The ring was there, shining brightly in the moonlight.

I thought I lost you"

Castle kissed the side of her head.

"Never"

"Promise?"

"Always", he replied and kissed her softly.
