Journey to Treasure Planet

~10/17/2016~ So... I'm revisiting this story to contain more surprises than ever! It will be a mega crossover story of sorts, including worlds that are currently unknown to the KH universe. Mainly ones that I want to happen, but more than likely won't, as well as have some that we know are going to be included in a /hopefully/ future title. *wink*

I promise I'll work on my other stories, I'm getting back into the habit of writing thanks to the influence of Ladies of Literature and many others, I will be back in the swing of things with writing fanfiction.

I had just found out where Kairi was after all of this searching, and I am going to rescue her.

Now that we had tracked down Axel, he was going to be questioned. Hopefully Axel will tell me exactly where Kairi is, if he knows what's was good for him…

We had finally reached the version of Twilight Town that Roxas "saw".

We fought through the Nobody's forces, be then came to an area that did not look familiar to any of the party. Before I could react, Donald and Goofy had disappeared and I was surrounded by Nobodies.

Just as the Nobodies prepared for an attack, Axel, the flame-haired member of Organization XIII swoops in and braces for the lesser Nobodies' attacks.

"Don't stop moving, or the darkness will overtake you." Axel said destroying a nearby Dusk and then turns back to me, "get going."

"Why?" I reply.

"Don't ask, just do it." Axel retorted.

Ducking from an attack, Axel takes down a sniper.

We team up taking turns attacking, but to no avail. The dusks multiply faster than they can be destroyed.

This just never ends!

As the enemies outnumber the us, Axel decides that that the tables need to be turned.

"I liked them better when they were on my side." Axel states returning back-to-back with me.

"Feeling a little regret?" I ask, reaching out to Axel.

"Nah, watch this!" Axel charges into the group of varying Nobodies, creating flames that engulf him.

With a flash of light from the final explosion, the entire group is dispersed and destroyed, leaving me completely speechless.

"Woah!" I glanced around the empty area.

"Axel?" I run to find him lying nearby and slowly fading away.

"Axel, what were you trying to do?" I ask him, almost tearful.

"I was trying to see Roxas..." He trails off, dark vapor floating from his body.

"Quick, Kairi's in the Castle dungeon." The flame-haired Nobody changes the subject.

Opening a portal in darkness, he started to fade away quicker.

On the other side of the portal, the eye-patched Nobody sees this as an opportunity to turn the tides now that the hero was practically at the World That Never Was's doorstep.

"Heh." He chuckled to himself. "We'll see how they'll catch us now." With a wave his hand, the mysterious skeleton key changes the destination of the portal to some world far, far away.

"That golden imp was right… this thing is pretty magical." He laughs again. "Almost like a keyblade… just miniature." He swiftly tossed the key upwards, but it never returned.

"Hey! What gives-"

"What do we have here my one-eyed friend?" The mysterious being twirls the key around his index finger.

"Tsk, tsk this was a one time use only. You have no business using this again. Especially to meddle in the affairs of the savior." He scolded.

"Yeah but you said-"

"I know what I said Dearie. All magic comes with a price, remember?"

The Nobody summoned his weapons, targeting the stranger.

"Oh my, you know those won't do any good." He grinned.

"I don't care what you want with the keywielder, but we have first dibs on that keyblade." Xigbar threatened.

"That's where you've made your mistake heartless one, I always get my end of the deal."

I stood up, keyblade in hand. He helped me... now it's my turn to help him, and rescue Kairi.

No time to mourn my friend, Kairi needs my help.

I stepped through the portal, and our party scans the surrounding.

"I don't think we're in Twilight Town anymore..." the royal guard breaks the silence.

"Are you sure this is The World That Never Was, Sora?" Donald asks, stepping to the side of me.

"I don't know." I stated gazing up at the grey storm clouds forming.

Looking ahead, the we spot an inn of sorts.

Watching out for any Heartless or Nobodies, our group makes their way up the long, winding and beaten path up to the inn.

With a safe journey, we come up to the entrance, only to see some sort of police officials escorting a boy who looked around the same age as me.

"Sora, I dunno about this place." Goofy pauses watching the young man as they converse with someone inside. "It seems kinda sketching." He whispers.

"Sketchy you knuckle brain." Donald quietly corrects him.

"I think there's something about this place... it seems different." I observed the entrance as the cyborg officers leave with a slam of the heavy door.

We watch as all seems normal after a few minutes.

"I'm going in." I start to walk off. Goofy follows closely behind. "Come on Donald, a-huck!" He motions for Donald.

"Ohh, I've got a bad feeling about this..." Donald whispered.

Our party pauses at the door, "The Benbow Inn" I read the sign near the door out loud.

Hmm, it seems fairly nice.

"Shouldn't we knock first?" Donald asks, stopping me from reaching for the knob.

I ignore Donald and open the wooden door, a bell rings to announce our entrance.

A whole room full of the oddest looking creatures is revealed behind the door, with each eye on us.

Donald cackles embarrassed, "I'll just be leaving now."

"Donald!" Goofy scolded him.

A young woman emerges from the kitchen to greet us.

"Hello, welcome to The Benbow inn." She welcomed.

I was the first to speak. "Could you tell us where we are, ma'am?"

"Please, call me Sarah." She smiles.

"You don't know where you're at?" A man who looked like he could be related to Goofy walks over to the us.

"Dr. Delbert Doppler, pleased to meet you." He reaches out to shake my hand.

"I'm Sora." I returned the greeting.

"Hiya, I'm Goofy." He follows.

"Donald." The magician seemed very distant from the conversation.

"Well, I presume you're not from here?" Dilbert asks.

"It's a really long story." I laughed nervously

"You fellows are on the planet Montressor." The dog doctor answers my earlier question.

Well, well, well. This is new isn't it? Don't worry things will pick up. If you've seen Treasure Planet, you know… And… who's this mysterious Imp that's made an appearance? Tell me what you think about my first crossover story. :)
