A/N: So... 3 years... opps. My mind slipped, and I know I said I wanted make the chapters longer, but at this point let's all just be thankful I actually wrote another chapter, admittedly its mainly banter but in the next one stuff actually happens, and expect a bit of a fight.
Harry awoke bright and early the next day, and by bright and early we actually mean just after half one in the afternoon. He didn't realise how tired he was, in fact he was sorely tempted to go back to sleep if it wasn't for the odd man that he was certain was following him yesterday was no in his motel room... making coffee.
"Ah finally, you're awake! I was wondering if you were ever going get up or if I should of just came back in a few days."
Harry attempted to respond but all that came out was muffled groaning noises. He also attempted to sit up only for his arm to give way and his face land straight back onto the pillows.
Tony couldn't help but snicker as he listened to the teen groan as he attempted to get up. He gave him a round of applause and offered him one of the cups of coffee as he finally managed to get up.
"Fifth time's the charm eh." Tony said as he began sipping at his own drink.
Taking a grateful gulp of his own coffee Harry let out a deep sigh. "Thanks, I needed this... by the way... who are you?"
The man gave him a shocked and somewhat offended look.
"I'm Tony Stark."
Harry looked at him blankly.
"You know... Iron man."
Harry blinked.
"Famous Billionaire?"
Harrys mouth parted open slightly, as his expression grew blanker and a dazed sort of look came over his eyes.
"The world's most brilliant inventor!?"
At any moment now dribble was surely about to drip out of Harry's mouth as he continued to look blankly at the man. Tony was certain he was about to have a little bit of a breakdown, who possibly couldn't have ever heard about him! He was fabulous, brilliant and above all else-wait... Brown eyes narrowed as he eyed the clueless dazed teen in front of him, and then it hit him.
"You're not from this world are you?"
"... Buddy... I'm not even from this universe."
"... But you're British."
"That's correct."
"So you lived in England?"
"Partially."
"Partially?"
"I went to boarding school in Scotland?"
"Ahh... what did you study?"
Harry snickered at that, getting off the bed and stretching he began walking over to the bathroom.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."
"You just pretty much told me you're not only from a different world but from a different universe as well... try me."
"Alright then, I used to go to a boarding school in Scotland called Hogwarts... Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry."
"... Come again?"
"I studied magic... I'm a wizard."
"... You what mate?"
Harry sighed, this was going to be a long day.
Doom eyed the folders the other man had given him, he wondered how had managed to hack into Shield's network within a few hours and without them noticing as well. It wasn't that it was impossible it was just that he didn't think the man before him really knew anything about technology.
"Do you accept the deal?"
Brown eyes bore deeply into icy blue, searching for any signs of deceit but finding none, that of course didn't mean the other man simply didn't have his poker face on, he was after all dealing with the God of Mischief after all.
"Everything I've... requested... I will get it right away?"
Loki smirked, bingo.
"Right away."
"... And what you've requested... when actually will you be needing my assistance?"
"All in good time, I'll let you know when you need to prepare yourself, and don't worry everything is order and nothing could possibly go wrong. Now, do we have a deal?"
Loki held his hand out to the other man, a smirk plastered across his face.
Victor sighed, he couldn't help the nagging feeling that something wasn't quite right here, but saying that his curiosity was peeked, either way he knew what his decision was.
"Yes, I accept the deal." He reached out and grabbed the other man's hand in a firm shake. He almost flinched with how cold it was. He wondered if he was going to regret this decision, after all they do say that curiosity killed the cat.
Taking the briefcase that was filled with some of the details about the plan Victor watched as Loki left, weaving his way through the crowd before disappearing. There was definitely something not quite right about the other man, there was something wrong with his eyes he realised. In that moment he felt a bit like Alice, very curious indeed.
But you know what they said about the curious cat, satisfaction brought it back.
