Chapter 72

It had taken the quartet a full twenty-four hours to get to Vapos, something which had never been done before.

When they finally landed, Digger gave a low whistle
"That is some serious Crystal Power"

"It would be, if there were Crystals involved" Arygyn spoke with a smile.

Angel looked his way, intrigued by the statement "Are you telling me there's no crystal power involved, at all"

Arygyn smiled wider.

'It's just like on Earth'

"So, where do we go from here, eh?" Digger asked, seeing as he'd never been to the previously lost Terra before.

"We go to the Palace to see Agar. Then we negotiate" she said, her look hard and unpleasant as she remembered what happened the last time she'd been here.

Radarr's claws dug in to her shoulder gently as they strode into the Throne Room, almost as if reassuring her that she would be okay this time.
The looks they'd received on the street were almost half annoyed, but still full of wonder and respect. The king's aid looked down his nose at her when she entered but turned to the aging man beside him all the same.

Agar's face lit up splendidly.
"Princess! I did not think you would return so soon. Especially after the misunderstanding on your previous visit"

Angel deadpanned and hung her head when she spotted Digger giving her a strange…teasing look. She coughed lightly, returning to the scene at hand.

"Neither did I, but things arise"

"I am told that your acquaintances are not the same as they were before" the King stated a little nervously.

"No, they're not, that's true. I travel with a smaller team these days" Angel replied pleasantly "You might remember Radarr"
said rodent creature chirped happily from her shoulder.

"Then there's Digger and Arygyn" both mentioned males gave a modest greeting at the sound of their name.

The old man sat in front of them "ahh"'ed lightly at the mention of Arygyn "I do know that name. He has been mentioned in some of our older texts"

'Why am I not surprised' Angel told herself with an eye roll.

"But do tell me, how is our Domo?" Agar asked.

Angel hesitated, not sure what to say.
A weight fell onto her shoulder and she briefly observed Arygyn smiling down at her before he stepped forward.

"That's a little complicated at the moment, and the reason we've come to you" he spoke, watching as the old King's brow dipped low in concern.

Aerrow flew into the Condor's hangar at speed, the weight of the vehicle thudding on the metal floor and the wheels screeching loudly as they skidded to a stop, leaving tracks that would have to be scrubbed away later.

He was not happy, neither were Junko or Finn, but each had their own reasons to be unhappy.
His reasons revolved around the new information that had been rolling around in his head for almost a week. Information regarding Blinx.

On top of that he was sleep deprived, hungry and his muscles were cramping, seeing as none of them had touched down for about forty-eight hours.
It was a great relief to finally be home.

"So, you are saying that it is almost certain that the Storm Hawks that we know are actually imposters?" Agar said, wanting absolute verification from the famous trainer.
The five of them, Agar, Arygyn, Angel, Digger and Radarr, were seated around a large circular table in a private room they had deemed the war office, discussing their exact reasons for appearing on the Terra as they had.

"My sources have a ninety-seven approval rate" Arygyn continued "But we can further confirm whether or not these are the real Storm Hawks with your help"

"Arygyn believes there's a rare crystal that, with a little scientific tweaking, may be able to show the true form or faces of the people we believe to be the Storm Hawks" Angel continued

"If they really are the Storm Hawks then there will be no change" Arygyn spoke again "Gundstaff has the instruments we need, but we are missing the crystal and a key ingredient, something we think your terra may possess"

"And you wish permission to look for it?" the king stated more than questioned.

"Yes"

The old man thought quietly for a moment before he spoke again "Do you come to me because you believe the Atmos to be in danger?"

The others in the room shared a look before Angel spoke.

"There is a high possibility" she paused as he continued to think "Agar, your Domo may be in danger too. Please, help us"

After a moment, the King gave a rickety nod "You have my approval to search, and have the full co-operation of Vapos"
