Final Chapter!
A/N: So I've been a horrible author i kind of lost my password and been super lazy and lethargic and went through a lot of things converning my mental health but you guys don't want to hear about that Onto the story!
"Dammit." Kakashi cursed, looking into the used hospital room as the curtains blew in the wind. Kasumi had pulled a fast one on them, there was no struggling and he could see there was a note with his clan's seal upon it waving from under the pillow, she wasn't kidnapped. ANBU was searching inside and outside the village as he walked further in to retrieve the note and unsealed it.
Dear Bakakashi
"Asshole." Kakashi mumbled under his voice as he could imagine Kasumi laughing hard when she wrote that.
Doing this to you all the time seems to be in my blood now, leaving you behind, but after everything I think we need it and we need to be apart to find ourselves again after the war, your Hokage position and my 'position' power wise.
You can't keep running to your Onee-san. You need to find your path as Hokage now, finish becoming the person I know you can be, the man you can be and you've grown into.
And I've changed now that I no longer have my seal and I have limitations now, I heard Tsunade-sama and I read what my medical report said… I'm not so invincible anymore and I need to learn to deal with that.
It was saddening to all of them when Tsunade-sama had told them that she no longer had the massive chakra network anymore and how limited she would be from now on.
"Hokage-sama!" A nurse rushed in and paused at the door. "We went through the surveillance tapes and records, the last one who was seen in the corridors by Kasumi-sama's room and in the records says it was Uchiha Shisui." She said with exasperation and Kakashi sighed.
"Thank you, dismissed." He said to the confused nurse who bowed then left him to it.
I'm sure you've probably noticed that Shisui has gone with me.
She continued writing and Kakashi sighed, turning back to the letter to see what else she had to say.
He got permission from the head of the clan, Itachi. I heard he's settling down, I'm so glad for him after everything he's gone through, everything the Uchiha clan had been through. You should think about it too, you don't deserve to be lonely but you don't deserve just anyone… Think about it, please otouto.
We will keep in touch with Itachi and Fugaku because knowing you, you'll send out shinobi to retrieve us like usual. And you probably realise that getting ANBU to chase after us is useless because… well… Shisui and I both specialise in space time jutsus don't we?
"Of course." Kakashi sighed to no one, looking outside the window for a couple of seconds before returning to the letter.
I wanted to use this time to discover myself as well, I've played too many roles in the past recent years so it's only fair that I should take some time to finally find myself and I think you should as well because you're students are starting to find their own ways now to, focus on you otouto.
I'll send you a letter and everyone else one too soon, I'm quite upset that I didn't say goodbye this time but it had to be done otherwise you would have all convinced me to stay. I love you and I'll always be there for you Otouto, never forget that!
Lots of Love
Kasumi (and Shisui)
"I love you too Onee-san." Kakashi eye smiled out the window as he sat on her bed for a while, thinking about his older sister and what she had to say.
"Hokage-sama, we can't find them anywhere, ANBU outside the village are at a loss too!"
"Call off the search… They're long gone."

"So she just up and left… again." Naruto asked at the breakfast table.
"You should realise by now that that is who Kasumi is son." Minato said with a sigh, reading a report, he was helping Kakashi with all the paperwork and such until he could do it on his own confidently and actually get through it all in the proper time allocation.
"Still… It's kinda unfair she does this dattebane." Kushina complained, waving a spatula in the air. "Just ups and leaves and only keeps in contact with certain people."
"It's always been her way, you know that anata." Minato smiled apologetically. "Her Tou-san did that to her."
"Kakashi-sensei mentioned something about the Shiroi Kiba, his tou-san, who was he dattebayo?" Naruto asked as his parents regarded him.
"Iruka-sensei will get there eventually with your studies." Minato said, something sharp in his words.
"Minato." Kushina warned gently and Minato sighed, lowering his report and taking a sip of his coffee.
"Let me start from the beginning…"

"So Kasumi-senpai just up and left again." Yamato sighed, lying in the hospital after Kushina's onslaught after being kidnapped, he had been going to physical therapy and almost ready to return home.
"She's always just needed that space." Kurenai said, bouncing her baby in her arms as Asuma stood protectively next to her.
"It's true but she was still recovering, especially after just waking up." Gai said.
"No, I suspect she was awake beforehand but she slept a lot and was still recovering." Kakashi mentioned as he was sitting on the windowsill with his arms crossed.
"That's true, she was never one to feel defenseless at any given time especially outside the village plus she has Uchiha Shisui at her side, they'll be perfectly fine." Yamato said.
"Still, she shouldn't really be alone and isolated especially now after the war and what she has experienced… What do you think Kaka, ah I mean Hokage-sama." Asuma asked, scratching behind his head and Kakashi shrugged.
"I learned long ago not to try and stop her once she puts her mind to it, I have faith in my Onee-san, Kasumi will be fine and she'll return home when she needs to." Kakashi said, looking over his shoulder at the birds twittering past.
"Her shining youthfulness with be missed in the village until then." Gai said with a nice guy pose as most of them smiled slightly at the crazy, green spandex wearing jonin.
'Be safe.' Kakashi thought.

"Where are we going?"
"I don't know."
"You dragged me all the way out here… not knowing where we're going?" Shisui stopped them as Kasumi turned back to him and grinned.
"Let's just see where life takes us." She said before spinning off into the field and Shisui shook his head with a slight laugh and chased after her as she laughed and began a game of chase between them.
Coming Home- Dirty Money
Kakashi tapped his pen on his desk, completely lost in thought. He should be by the memorial stone, it was November the first after all but he hadn't been there for the last two years because the previous year he was busy with sorting out what was left of the war and they year before the war had just ended and he became Hokage. He was also expecting a letter from his Onee-san like she did the year before but it seems like it hadn't arrived yet.
"Kakashi-sen… Ah I mean Hokage-sama dattebayo!" Naruto burst in, completely out of breath as he keeled over and put his hands on his knees, making Kakashi jump up in alarm.
"Naruto! What's wrong?" Kakashi asked, walking around his desk to stand next to him and put his hand on his back. He'd grown up, almost as tall as he was and catching up to his father fast with his extra studies he'd been doing with Iruka for the last two years, he was graduating to jonin in December along with Sasuke as he showed his loyalty during the war and only thought of the village now.
"You… You have to come with me to the gates now!" Kakashi didn't have a choice, Naruto was learning his father's jutsus not that he needed the shunshin and Hiraishin much with having Kurama-sama back in him. Kakash tried to stop him multiple times on the way but Naruto circumnavigated his old sensei and kept going until he was at the gates, outside with many others he knew and he stared as they all looked at him.
"Welcome Kakashi." Minato laughed as did the few others. He was starting to show his age, he and Kushina both but they were aging gracefully.
"Sorry, I thought it would be better to drag him quickly since the tower is the furthest away-ttebayo." Naruto scratched behind his head.
"You didn't even tell him did you dobe?" Sasuke asked with a slight smile of amusement, Sakura's vein's bulging in her head next to him.
"I did teme!"
"Um… No, he didn't why are we all here?" Kakashi asked, all of the Rookies and senseis were there as was Itachi and his parents and his wife, Izumi with their new born baby girl. Kabuto, Tenzo/Yamato and the old ROOT agent, Sai was also there, he'd been working closely with them and ROOT lately and Sai was beginning to get quite a good personality.
"Look." Minato said, pointing down the road as everyone quietened down and looked. "They should be visible soon." He added as the Uchiha cheated, activating their sharingans. In the distance, along the road, two figures appeared, walking leisurely but with a bit of haste as Kakashi opened his sharingan eye and the breath in his chest stopped.
Naruto couldn't wait as he took off with the Rookies all behind him. He slowed down and gently hugged Kasumi, picking her up and spun her around as all the others arrived. Naruto finally put her down as she grabbed Sasuke and Sakura into a shared hug.
"I've missed you guys." Kasumi said, her voice so heavy with raw emotions of relief, her eyes tearing up.
"It's good to be back." Shisui said, shaking hands with a few of the guys before hugging his cousin tight.
"We missed you too!" Naruto said.
"We didn't know if you two would ever come back." Sakura said, tearing up at the sight a bit as Ino came to her side with a smile.
"Let's take their bags." Neji said, taking a bag from Shisui as he was carrying all of them with Lee and Kiba following suit.
"Everyone is waiting for you." Hinata said as she helped Naruto with the bag he took, the biggest of course. Kasumi looked ahead and let more tears of happiness fall as Shisui took her hand and they began their way towards everyone else who had also started walking their way.
Itachi and his wife and child were first that they met on their way. The two cousins hugged tight, patting each other's backs hard happily as Kasumi pulled Izumi and their little one into a hug and introduced each other. Their little girl was called Kagu and not even a month old yet.
"It's good to see you Itachi." Kasumi said as she was drawn into a warm hug from him.
"You too senpai." He said, hugging her a bit tighter as he and Izumi joined next to Shisui as Team 7 were on Kasumi's side.
"Kasumi-chan!" Kushina rushed, dragging Minato along as she crashed gently into them into a group hug, rubbing her cheek against Kasumi's own. "Oh wow, look at you, you're glowing!" She gushed, holding her upper arms then her cheeks and started to well up with tears as Kasumi smiled, also tearing up yet again as she pulled Kushina into another hug.
"Sensei!" Kasumi crushed against Minato as he wrapped his arms around her and closed his eyes with a smile, his 'adoptive' daughter was back, finally.
"Kasumi-chan, it's good to see you." Mikoto said as she and Fugaku had come up from the rear with everyone else as she gave Kasumi a hug and Fugaku and Shisui shook hands firmly with smiles.
"Taicho!" Fugaku didn't have a choice as Kasumi half crushed him in a hug and everyone laughed.
"Yes, it's good to see you too Kasumi… Welcome home." He said when she released him. Kasumi moved right along to Kurenai and Asuma, meeting little Mirai as Guy hugged her surprisingly gently with a grin from her and they all turned to Kakashi who seemed like he'd seen a ghost and been hit by an ox at the same time.
Kakashi couldn't catch his breath since he saw her through his sharingan. She'd grown, not physically but in a way he hadn't seen before, she was calmer and probably wiser, she was confident in who she was. Having that run in with Kaguya had made her hair almost white with the darker silver underneath and it was long, as long as Kushina's, to her knees, her blue eyes still sparkled like life as she came to stand in front of him, face to face with her otouto.
"You didn't tell me…" Kakashi swallowed and looked down. "That I was going to be an Oji-san (Uncle)" He said looking at the large bump that was upon his sister's stomach.
"I wanted it to be a surprise." She smiled, her eyes still crying because of her hormones. "I missed you." She began to sob ans Kakashi hugged her and hugged her even tighter as she cried on his shoulder.
"Happy Birthday Onee-san." He said as she laughed slightly, the whole chattering group heading back towards the gates but they paused as soon as they entered because Kasumi had paused as the place erupted in cheers, Naruto had rounded up the entire village, the Police Force stood, shouting 'Kasumi-sama' and Silver Ghost.
Kasumi stumbled back slighly, being caught by Minato, Kushina and Itachi with Shisui and Kakashi holding her hands tightly as the crowd quietened down. Everything hit her suddenly, this was why she left so abruptly those two years ago. Kakashi's birth, their mother's death, meeting Obito and Rin at the academy, all the training and suffering she endured from their father, his death… Bouncing through the ranks and war, always pushing herself to do more, to learn more and not be a failure like she always felt she was after their father's death, loosing Obito and then Rin and loosing the connection with her own brother.
The near deaths of her mentors, Minato and Kushina, her own death, ROOT, Akatsuki, The Uchiha clan, and how could she ever forget when she met Shisui, bumping into him and blushing like a love sick teenager yet again. Coming up against Madara and saving the clan from itself, the loss of the Sandaime, bringing a lost ANBU, Kabuto, home. Going to Amegakure and loosing Jiraiya, almost loosing Kakashi too, Madara's attack on the village, destroying Danzo, the summit and discovering 'Madara' was her long lost friend Obito, teaming up the last of the Akatsuki together to defeat Madara and the Jyuubi.
It had been a lot of fights, a lot of scars, a lot of ups, a lot of downs but here she stood, a better person, a better kunoichi with almost all of her loved ones intact.
Kasumi opened her arms as her hair rose, going back and forth like a wave, white lightning flashed like a dome over the village, but it was striking or violent, you could even say the lightning was gentle, accepting as everyone began to cheer and Kasumi could just feel peace invading her as the crowd cheered once again, shouting her name upon her return.
Hatake Kasumi and Kakashi, the greatest shinobi and siblings the world has ever seen.
Final A/N: I have thought about a sequel to it but i don't have a story line for it yet i would like to see where Boruto is going with the manga first and how these characters would affect the future.
