Edit 7/25 : I looked it over and it felt rushed, so I hope the revision smoothed it out. Sorry about that!

126 dates later...
Leon patiently waited in his usual waiting room in Dr. Kate's office after telling her the news. The professional still stared down at her clipboard, the corners of her lips twitching slightly.
"From your monthly visits and your progress, Mr. Leon," Dr. Kate finally spoke up in her calm and steady voice, "you are close to getting cured."
"That is good news."
Kate let out a half smile. "You really only have one step left in your treatment, but it comes with two choices, the final decision falling into your own hands."
Leon sat up straighter as he gave her his undivided attention.
"Do you want to be by her side or not?" Kate said.
He stared unseeingly at the doctor, the words tumbling around in his mind.

Later that evening when they were out to dinner, Sora fiddled with the bracelet Leon had gotten her.
It was the first gift he had given her after they had shared a few first kisses together. The chain was simple enough, having a long bent rectangle with floral designs on it. What made it special was that the rectangle was actually a thin compartment to hold things in.
"I'll hold my best memories in here," she had said to him.
It was mainly filled with their time together: their first date, first kiss, first sandcastle built together, first ceramic mug he made her... There were many memories in there and she hoped to fill it with more.
Though, by the way he was acting lately, she wasn't certain if there will be more.
He's been gone to the restroom for a while now. She didn't think he was the type to ditch her and leave the bill for her to pay, but she was starting to think that's what he was doing. After all, it was shortly after finishing their plates that he left so suddenly.
The waiter came over with two glasses of cider. "Your date requested this," he said when Sora started questioning the items.
"Oh. Well, ok." She took her glass and then thanked the man.
Shortly after that, Leon appeared.
She smiled in relief and started to tilt her glass to drink when he suddenly dropped to one knee with a small black box in his hands. Her eyes were wide and her gag reflexes kicked in when something other than cider nearly made its way into her throat. Pitching forward with her cloth napkin over her mouth, she loudly coughed.
Leon sat back on his chair and patted her back. "Are you alright?"
"Fine," she wheezed, too winded to lose even more breath when she spotted a diamond ring sitting in the middle of her napkin.
This is definitely going in my memory bracelet.

The wedding had been small and the reception not too long.
As was custom, the bride and groom left for their honeymoon, their friends seeing them off. Ken had been unnerved by it, but not as much as he thought he would be. May seemed to be in his thoughts more often than not, though he did wonder about his inabilities to ever capture Sora's attention.
As the group continued to wave at the disappearing car with 'Just married' written on the back window, May stepped up to Ken.
"He didn't know anything," she casually revealed.
Ken frowned. "Know what?"
A half smirk appeared on May's face. "Dating. Women. Take your pick."
"No," Ken slightly shook his head. "That's not possible."
"Trust me on this one, buddy boy," she patted his shoulder. "He didn't know a single thing." Ken was quiet with that information. May stayed silent next to him, but not for long. "I want to know how a guy like that handles his first night," May stated without warning.
Ken sputtered out nonsense, but did not reprimand her.
In truth, he had thought something similar.

The newly weds reached their getaway place without hassle.
The night was cool and their room cozy, with hints of romance about their suite. Red petals were sprinkled on the bed and lightly scented candles had been lit to create a sensual atmosphere. Their luggage had been carelessly left on the floor in the sitting area along with their coats. Leon's tux jacket and Sora's white dress were hung in the closet in a moment of carefulness.
After that, they had changed into pajamas. They now sat across one another on the bed, a deck of cards in the space between them and each holding cards.
"Hmm," Sora idly said as she scrutinized her hand of cards. "You got any sevens?"
"Go fish."
She tsked at the poor luck she was having thus far, only having one pair while Leon had three. As she picked up a card, a card with seven red diamonds made her grin. Eagerly, she paired her sevens and placed them down.
Leon hmmed as he looked at his cards. His gaze inevitably strayed over to Sora's form, her pj shorts showing off her curvy legs even when crossed. Her legs have always seemed to catch his eyes for some reason, whether they were on the trapeze or on a date. He didn't see how he was 'cured' now of his affliction, but seeing as Dr. Kate's advice has helped him so far, he decided to wait and see.
"Do you have any fives?"
The grin that was once on Sora's face fell, a pout making her bottom lip stick out slightly. "Cheater," she grouched as she handed over her five of hearts.
He gave her a small half smile. "I have four pairs now. I win."
"Yeah yeah. The Great Leon Oswald has the title of the 'Go Fish' King."
He shook his head at his wife's sour face. "Another round?"
She was about to say yes when a yawn escaped her. "Maybe tomorrow."
Leon nodded to that. The wedding plans took a lot out of them so he wasn't surprised when she laid down on the bed, the red petals surrounding her form. She stretched a hand out for him to come and he put the cards aside to take it, their fingers entwining as they laid on their sides facing each other. The hand that was not holding Sora's came along her leg, the feathery touch making her sleepily giggle as his touch tickled her.
He ran his hand along her leg again, liking the smooth, soft feeling of her skin.
His touch still tickled her, but it also made her warm as he continued, his palm fully against her thigh. The feeling reminded her of the 'zing' when they touched but also gave her the warmth of when they kissed. She scooted closer, her leg going half over him and her arm slipping around to embrace him. The shift allowed his hand to wander down her calf as she cuddled with him.
When his hand ran along the bottom of her foot, she squirmed against him. He half grinned as he did it again, this time making her half shriek. Very ticklish there, are you?
"Go to sleep," she said with a pinch to his side.
He relented for now, deciding that he has two whole weeks alone with her to find out where else she was ticklish. He tilted his head down a little, a faint touch to her chin letting her know what he wanted. She angled her head upwards and her eyes closed upon feeling his lips on hers, the solid warmth of his mouth reassuring and making her feel all fluttery. Then they broke it off, her head tucking back underneath his chin and his head lightly resting on top of hers. They slept together peacefully, the candles going out one by one on their own once the puddles of melted wax touched the fire.
It was not a traditional wedding night, but they were hardly ordinary. With their honeymoon set for two weeks, they had more than enough time to figure things out if they weren't already starting to.
For two inexperienced people, they were bound for many adventures.

The End.
AN: Considering that Leon knows practically nothing about women, I thought it would be likely that their "sleeping together" would be a literal meaning. XP
Thank you for reading this story! I know that some might have wanted more, but I felt like here was a good place to stop or else I'll just keeping going and going... :P
