Surprise I guess!? Sorry for the wait, I am currently studying at a university, and you know life. Moreover, they rebooted Spider-man again so that is a thing… I felt like I just couldn't leave this story off with a cliff hanger, so I wrote this chapter. This won't wrap the story up, but just in case I don't update for a while, here is a little something for you all. Also, thank you for your years of support, you guys are awesome.

His phone was littered with picture of him and Gwen. Most of them looked like they were taken at his or her place. They were playfully kissing and doing sweet things a regular couple would do like going on rides at the amusement park and out for dinner.

"Let me see!" Ally said grabbing the phone out of my hand.

"Hey, be careful. If you break that we are all dead." I told her.

"Yeah, yeah." She brushed me off and began to rummage through the phone like it was her job.

Me and MJ looked tentatively at the screen trying to hold back out building anticipation and waves of cold and sad emotions.

"He really loved her." MJ whispered. "I feel like a total jerk right now." She said while wiping a small tear from her cheek.

I pulled her in for a hug softly rubbing her back with one of my hands to comfort her. I too was fighting a pit of depressing emotions as we continued to look at the photo gallery.

Suddenly, all three of us gasped in unison as we our eyes fell upon the last slide of the gallery which was actually a video recording.

"Should I play this?" Ally looked at us with puppy eyes. She new we were just as curious.

MJ and I nodded.

The video began playing.

The video started with black, then some rumbles, and moves to a stationary position that was facing the window side of what appears to be a girl's room. The girl that is moving the phone around is non-other than Gwen Stacy.

She tussles her blonde flowing hair for a second before adjusting her bangs and then sit in front of the camera. Her beauty radiates off screen, which is causing me to get a little self-conscious for no reason.

"How in the world did a guy like Peter ever get someone like her?" MJ states plainly, clearly out of jealously.

The girl then smiles at the camera. "Hey Pete, I just wanted you remember to come to graduation. Look I know the whole Spider-man thing is a big responsibility…"

"Jesus fuck." Ally drops the phone and looks like she's about ready to pass out.

I bit into my index finger which was balled up with my fist trying to calm myself down, I had to hold onto MJ since she looked about ready to run out the door, hunt down Peter, and jump on him out of extreme pent up frustration.

I picked up the phone, and began playing where we stopped.

"But I think the world will go on if you can stop for one day and just come to graduation. It would really mean a lot to me of you do this." She said with a smile, then suddenly her cheerful expression became cold and sad.

"I love you Peter, you don't know how much I do. I just don't want to you getting hurt. I…" Before she could finish, a thud sound could be heard close to the window. Gwen rubbed her eye on her sleeve, trying to dry some tears that were building up on the corner of her eyes.

She smiles out of joy and turns around, opening her window. A figure, climbs in.

I bit harder into my finger, the skin nearly breaking as I held back tears. I am in an emotional wreck right now and so is MJ and Ally because they weren't even trying hold back anything, tears were streaming down their faces.

Spider-man, no, Peter enters her room and pulls up the bottom part of his mask. "Hey there beautiful, what are you doing?" He said giving her a kiss which she gladly returned.

"Nothing much just finishing up some homework." She states.

"Oh yeah…"

"Oh yeah? What does that mean?" She questions, her arms still folded around his neck.

"I might have to copy off you." He jokes.

Gwen roles her eyes and pulls of the rest of mask off, revealing a slightly younger Peter with disheveled hair that clearly needed to be cut. The blonde throws the mask onto her bed, and then leans in for another passionate kiss, he trips over her backpack or something because she ends up pushing him onto her bed. "Stay put." She demands.

Gwen gets up and goes over to the phone, whispering an "I love you" to it before the video cuts to black.

The next few moments, all three of us were too stunned to do anything. The emotions running through our heads were ranging anything from deeply depressed to horney and confused. Ally stood up, "What should we do?"

"What do you mean what should we do, keep quiet obviously." I told her.

MJ sat there in utter silence, she placed both hands on her chest, probably trying to calm down her beating heart.

We heard some loud knocking on the door that caused us to jump. "Just a minute I yelled." Believing the person on the other side may be in fact Peter Parker.

I shoved the phone and his belongings into his backpack, zipping it up and making sure it wasn't out of place.

"Ok, everybody just stay calm." Ally said trying her best not to burst.

I hurried over to the door and opened it.

In front of the door stood the man himself. Peter Parker, his glasses a bit off centered from his eyes, his brown hair in a semi sexy mess. He gave me a small look and then rubbed his neck awkwardly. "I… ah… left my things."

Before I could react, Mary Jane rushed passed me and pulled Peter in for a warm embrace. The surprised Peter didn't know how to respond but to hug her back. "MJ" His voice mildly shaky, "I am sorry."

The red head in his arms held him tighter, a pang of jealousy hit my heart at the sight. It wasn't like I knew him enough to care, but a part of me wanted to be in MJ's position. I wanted nothing more than to hug Peter and thank him. To tell him how much he meant to me, for saving my life.

I looked at Peter, he gave me confused expression. The only reaction I could muster was to hand him his bag while he stood, holding on to a very emotional MJ.

Slowly, I closed the door behind me to give the two some space.

Ally shoved passed me and stared at them through the peep hole. "Kiss him!" She said like a little girl, trying her best not to let out a squeal.

My back was placed firmly against the wall, I felt like my heart was about to explode. My legs were wobblily, and I could feel the ground beneath me. I let out a sign and slowly slid down to the ground. "What am I going to do?" I asked myself.

Two weeks later

MJ and Peter are a semi thing, Ally is still annoying, and I am stuck in a tight situation.

I still haven't found some way to get Peter alone. Okay, that sound way dirtier than intended. What I meant to say was I still haven't found a way to hint to him that I knew who he was. I don't think going to him out of nowhere, hugging him, crying on his shoulder, and thanking him to no end would go unnoticed by MJ.

Since Peter and MJ have been trying to figure their relationship out, I have been seeing him more regularly because we seem to be the only friends he has.

This didn't help at all. In fact, my feeling for "Peter" or "Spider-man" have actually intensified over the pass weeks because we have now become more acquainted.

Currently, I stood waiting for a bus. It's President's Day weekend and I have been dying to go home and see my parents. Or was it to avoid Peter Parker for a few says so I could get my head straight. Either was I needed a break.

As I stood there waiting for the bus, my brown hair was waving all over my face as the cold winter wind blew around me. "Damn it" I said wrapping my hand around myself and shivering. I knew I should have wore an extra coat.

I took my phone out of my pocket and looked at the clock. "Shit" another seven minutes till it arrives.

Suddenly, I felt somebody tap my shoulder. I spun around stunned to find Peter standing in front of me. "Hey Pete." I tried to be casual. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, I was getting ready to go home and saw you standing here." He said with a small smile, his smooth lips were killing me. Ah! I screamed internally.

"I see." That was all I could reply.

"Are you cold?" He asked, clearly, he could tell. I am fucking dying over here.

"Yeah, I should have brought an extra coat. Haha." I joked.

"Yeah, um do you want to barrow mine?" He asked.

This took me by surprise. My cheeks started to rise in temperature, my heart pounding in anxiousness. "No, I shouldn't." I said. Please just go, I don't think my emotions can handle your genuine gestures.

"No, I insist." He said taking off his jacket.

"No Peter please, you are going to catch a cold." I tried my best to reject this offer.

He didn't bother to heed my words. Instead, he wrapped his jacket around me. The body warmth that was entrapped by his clothing made its way to me and I began to feel a tingling sensation in my core. "I… Thanks."

"Don't mention it." He gave me another smile "I'll see you later." And like that he took off.

The bus had to take a detour into the city. What was supposed to be a two-hour ride looks like it will now be a four hour one. I sat patiently in my seat. The weather here is kind of bipolar, somedays it's just dark and gloomy, today it decides to rain.

As the pebbles of precipitation fell onto the window glass, I blew a hot breath of air on the window. The warm condensation made the glass blur, as I slowly traced my fingers on the cold surface.

Peering out into the city, it boggled me how intense the lights were. Night is nearly upon us, but the city was still lively as ever. It reminded me of a scene straight out of Blade Runner.

Taking a closer look, I spotted an object swinging in the distance.

It was Peter. I knew it. In his new black costume with the giant white spider painted across his chest. A part of me sank back deeply into the seat. My heart was racing, hoping he would be ok.

Abruptly, the bus stops.

"What's going on!?" Somebody yells in front of me.

"Probably construction up ahead." The driver replies.

Without warning screams could be heard in the distance. Some people on the bus including me stood up and tried their best to look out the crowded windows. A fiery explosion erupts out of a building a block or two away from us.

Everyone on the bus began to scream and yell. All the passengers got up and began to shove their way out of the claustrophobic vehicle.

As we got out, the rain poured on us endlessly. I forgot to put my hood on, the rain wetting my hair. I brushed a few long strands out of my line of view and ran to where the explosion happened. I ran as fast as my feet could carry me.

As I made it to the horde of people that were gathering up I pushed my way to the very edge of the action that was taking place. I let out a gasp as I looked at what was happening in front of me.

Peter was badly injured. I could see him holding onto his side, the dimness of the night made it hard to see, but because of the fire that has started within the building I could tell that he was bleeding badly.

The man from the bank incident several months back was there. His annoying mustache and flowing hair still cut the same.

"Spider, I have to give it to you. You are one hard catch." The man said while clutching his knife.

"Hehe, that's what your mom tells me." Peter jests.

"I am going to enjoy skinning you in front of everyone."

The two power houses ran at each other. Peter used his agility to dodge the rest of the man's incoming strikes.

As the man attempted to stab at Peter again, Peter jumped slightly to his left before spinning to his left performing a twirling kick that landed right into the right temple of the guy's head. The impact was so strong I could see rain splash and shoot in different directions upon impact.

The momentum of the strong hit sent the man's face crashing into the ground cracking the concrete.

I let out a sigh of relief, my body filled with adrenaline.

Peter stumbled back a few feet. My heart sank a little at his worrisome actions. "Oh my god."

Peter fell back, his body slammed onto the ground.

I don't know what I was thinking at that moment, but my legs betrayed my rational mind as I sprinted to him.

I fell beside Peter, my damp hair messily draped over my face. The rain and my tears mixed into a salty blend as I screamed at him. "Pete- Spider-man!" I looked at the wound, it was a deep gash. I placed my hand on the bleeding injury and applied as much pressure as I could.

Peter's head swayed up and down, he seemed to be in some kind of dazed, weakened state.

"Hold on, hold on." I said franticly. I saw the police breaking up the crowd and running our way.

I felt his hand hold mine, "What? Why?" he chanted.

"It's okay, I am…"

Something was off. I found myself lifted off the ground, something had flung me several feet to the side. I hit the ground with a thud.

I pulled myself off the drowned concrete beneath me. The man that I thought was knocked out was on top of Peter, the blade was inches away from his heart. Peter was struggling to hold the man's arms.

"Peter!" I shrieked at him.

Peter heard his name somewhere, his mind was semi hazy from the loss of blood, but he could swear it was someone familiar calling out his name.

"Peter!" there it goes again. His attention was mostly centered on the man on top of him, the dangerously sharp blade was only inches way from ending him. Peter was using all his strength to push away the man known as Kraven, arm's way from his chest.

Peter struggled, his energy was draining rapidly. He turned his head to look for anything that could help him out of this situation.

His eyes finally met the teary expressions of Kira. "No." He whimpered. It hit him hard, it wasn't a dream that Kira was holding onto him a few seconds ago. Kira was really there, and Kraven just hurt her.

A surge of anger and frustration filled Peter. "No" he said again, he has failed again he thought. Because of him, someone he cared about has been hurt again.

Clenching his fist. The now enraged Peter, used all his energy and with one swift push sent Kraven flying into the air and into a street light. Peter got up and staggered his way over to the man.

"You are good." Kraven laughed. "This won't be the end my friend."

Unamused, Peter balled up his hand, pulled back his fist and sent it right into Kraven's head, finally putting the hunter out.

"Kira." Peter thought.

He ran over to the girl who was struggling to stand up "Kira!" He yelled, panic flooded his mind. Racing over to the soaked woman, he stopped a few feet from her. He wanted to seem distant, realizing that hundreds of eyes were still watching them.

Kira stumbled forwards and Peter instantly caught her. Holding her in a tight hug.

"I am okay." She reassured him.

"I am… I am glad to hear that."

Peter momentarily, sighed allowing himself to breath. Because of his spider power, that burst of energy was enough to kick in his healing factor, the stab wound that he had endured already started to scab.

"Peter."

He heard Kira whisper his name. Taken back, he lets go of their hug and looks at her. "Umm, Peter, who are you talking about." He tried to his best to pretend he didn't know what she was talking about.

Kira gave him a small chuckle and folded his jacket's hoodie around her head. "You're a terrible liar."

"I am not…" Before he could finish his sentence. Kira put a finger to his covered lips. Slowly, she put her hands around his lower mask, and began to lift it. "You can't…" He said.

"Shhhh." She told him. Gently rolling up the mask to his nose, she gradually leaned in and planted her lips onto his.

The whole of New York erupted in hysteria as they witnessed their friendly neighborhood Spider-man lock lips with this unknown girl covering her face with a hoodie.

They let the kiss deepen, taking each other in, letting the world fall to a standstill. Kira finally pulled back, panted heavily from their small passionate moment. Her soft and warm breath made small clouds of condensed heat flow into the air.

"Thank you, Peter." She gave him a small smile.

A weary Parker still lost in his daze, let out a small breath and smiled back. He wraps one arm around Kira's waist pulling her closer. "Hang on." He told her.

Letting out a strand of web, he pulled him and Kira off the ground and began to swing away into the night, while citizens below them continued to holler in celebration.

Sorry again for the long ass wait. I hope this provides some closure if I don't end up writing more for this story. Again, thank you all for your support. Leave a follow, favorite, or comment, I surely will appreciate it.
