*It's all come down to this everyone, here's the epilogue to this epic story. I hope you guys like it

Epilogue: We Are the Crystal Gems

Steven's POV

We made it back to the Crystal Temple and noticed that everyone parted from the sanctuary, probably since the apocalypse was over and that Nightmare was gone. The place of course was still wrecked from Astaroth's surprise attack that started all this chaos.

"Well," Amethyst spoke up above all of us, "Now that this whole catastrophe is over, I think I might just sit down and relax."

"Really Amethyst?" Pearl questioned the purple gem, "This place is in ruins and you're just going to laid down and goof off? I think you should help cleaning up right now."

"Ugh," Amethyst groaned, annoyed by Pearl's instructions, "Alright, I'll get to it."

"Good," Pearl replied, "Glad we were able to settle that situation, Garnet and I will be in our rooms, cleaning the temple up from Moonstone's sneak attack. I just hope Aqua is all right. Steven, you stay here with Amethyst and help her clean the place up."

I nodded and the two taller gems walked into the temple door before it closed. Upon shutting, Amethyst caught my attention.

"Ha, this will be easy," Amethyst laughed.

"Wait," I asked her, "What do you mean?"

"Simple Steven," she said before transforming into a purple excavator with a giant scoop, "I'll just scoop all this junk up and throw it outta here!"

She then spun around the room very fast and collected all the rubble. She then tilted the scoop back and launched the rubble out of the temple like a catapult. Once that was over, she transformed back into her normal form again.

"See Steven? Easy as pie," Amethyst finished.

"Wow, that was fast," I commented, "But where did you send the rubble?"

"Pfft, to the junkyard of course," she answered.

"Oh, good," I replied.

With that problem dealt with, Amethyst laid down back onto the couch (which she left unharmed when she cleaned up all the rubble). She crossed her arms and closed her eyes, lounging on the large piece of furniture.

"I'll take a nap now Steven, just tell Pearl that we cleaned the place like she wanted to when she returns."

She then fell asleep, snoring very loudly. I decided to head up to my room and watch TV, but when I got up there, a thought occurred in my mind. I decided to not watch television and walk up to my window looking towards the ocean instead. I looked towards the horizon in the distance, the sun's bright steaks of light illuminating across the sky. The thought was simple: Will I ever see Calla again? Well, that I will leave up to time to decide.

I then smiled, climbed onto my bed, and turned on the television. It's good to be home.

Well, there you have it, the last chapter is over and this story is finally over. I apologize for the late post, I just got interested on this game I have on my laptop that I decided to take a short break for awhile from writing, but now I'm back and I decided to upload the ending of this story to stop keeping you guys in suspense.
