Sky wondered why this middle-age man was staring at him.

"Skylar." Hunter states, he jerked his chin toward the exit and started walking.

The S.P.D Blue Ranger followed Krystal's father, and the former Crimson Thunder Ranger.

Hunter sighed. "I knew your father, Sky."

Sky just stared at the former thunder ninja "Yeah I'm trying to follow his lead."

"Well you're doing a piss poor job of it." Hunter replied turning on Sky. "Your father kept the ninja code until he died an honorable death."

"What I followed how he did everything, I studied every case and every battle; he's been in." Sky defended.

"You know the uniform, but I knew the man behind the image. He was the first earth based S.P.D ranger but he studied here at the Thunder Ninja Academy." Hunter replies, "He would be rolling in his grave right now knowing you're a jackass." the thunder ninja shook his head, "I swear you and I are one and the same sometimes, its your way or the highway."

"No, I followed the rules its exactly as he would have done it." Sky almost growled his anger raising.

"No, he wouldn't have followed the rules, he followed his heart. If the rules say choose between catching the criminal and saving a life, he would choose saving a life." Hunter replied, "Get angry at me, if you want but I speak the truth."

Sky closed his eyes and exhaled "Not angry at you just...I really don't know yet."

"When I was active as Ranger, I don't want to think about the years, but when my bro and I first joined the others, I was in a leadership rivalry with Shane, because it was the two of us, Blake and I." Hunter explains, "And seeing the footage that Cam got, just reminded me of that."

"But you were the head of the thunder academy, weren't you? Of course, you would want somethings done your way." Sky replied

Hunter blinked at him, "I would be rather poor teacher if I wanted everything done by the book, I learned that from Desiree, she doesn't teach by the book, she threw out the book a long time ago, and the same goes for 'fate.'"

"But Jack has no respect for SPD, he doesn't deserve to be the red ranger."

Hunter raised an eyebrow. "And you do? What if Krystal, Miko, or one of the others got the Red Ranger slot, would you follow them?"

"It wouldn't have been as bad they at least know what it means to be SPD." Sky answered not feeling so sure of his stance anymore.

"Your treating S.P.D if it means more then it does, that is nothing but bricks and mortar, and machinery." Hunter replies. "The base could be destroyed, and Cruger killed but unless he had a good hearted person to pick up the slack, well earth is doomed." the crimson thunder ninja looked sky dead in the eyes, "And I will personally go after anyone who places my daughter and my niece in danger."

The blue ranger stepped back from the glare "I would never do anything to hurt my team their my friend as well as my teammates. "

"Well said." Desiree spoke up as she came up with her mother, and her son, and an equally humbled and humiliated Jack.

Sky looked at his teammate and with real concern in his voice "Jack you okay."

"You try the Fire Ninja obstacle course, about ten times." Jack answers

Desiree's eyes lit with mischief that made Hunter cringe. "Oh don't worry, he will be."

Sky paled and looked Jack over once more and tried to hand signal 'talk later' Jack was to worn out to see but just nodded.

The passing students gave Jack pitying expressions, but snickered at Sky. Then hurried when Desiree looked at them.

Sky saw this and knew only one thing pain was coming.

"They're jealous, but they won't end up in trouble to try the course out. Its just reserved for troublemakers." Desiree explains, "Students have broken bones on the course."

"Just what I need." Sky muttered under his breath.

"S.P.D is very lacking in ways of dealing out punishments, their's is banishment, and we know that doesn't work." Desiree replies, she put her son back on the ground, but kept a close eye on him. "Now if this one, ends up a Ranger, I'll disown him in protest!"

Sky turned to Jack and with a swallow he extends his hand. "Look Jack let's try and get through this like we're supposed to as a team."

Jack looked stupidly at Sky,

"I think Jack needs a long hot soak and chance to rest before even trying to talk." Desiree states, "Hunter?"

Hunter nods and led Jack away to show him where the bathing rooms were.

Sky faced the other to ninjas "Okay lets get this started. The faster we get started the sooner we can be done. "

Desiree smirked, "Boy, Ninja training is never finished, we have schools that are for those truly dedicated to the craft."

"Well maybe after i quit SPD but for nor we're needed there."

"No one ever quits being a Ranger, even if I disagree for a school for Rangers, The only reason, I didn't sign up for S.P.D is I was pregnant at the time." Desiree answers she then looked Sky over, "Now to get you out of those horrid uniforms and into something that can breath."

"Whats wrong with our uniforms they're perfectly fine." Sky questions as he follows the two women.

Desiree flicked out her fingers and fire erupted on Sky's sleeve.

"They are not element resistance." Aya answers

Sky jumped around trying to put the flames out.

Desiree shook her head and called the fire back to her, and let it dance along her skin before it settled back inside of her soul.

Sky just stared in shock "Wait a minute you suppress our powers but your free to use yours what the heck?"

"Your powers are from birth, I had to train to access mine. And I suppressed mine by Will." Desiree answers, "or else, there would be fires everyday if I go into town."

"Fire is more dangerous of the elementals." Aya exclaims, "You can block anything with that force field of yours, but even you will weaken, your abilities is your greatest strength and your greatest weakness as well."

Sky thought about Aya's words and was forced to agree with them.

Aya's form then shifted and she took wing, flying off.

"Fine so what exactly will this training consists..." sky lost his train of thought as aya flew off.

"You and your team's training will be learning your weakness and the others and either using them to your advantage or having someone else guard your back." Desiree answers, "And you're wondering how mom was able to shift forms?"

Sky just nods "Okay, I can see that but I'm sure you know already there is some real friction between us. "

Desiree gave Sky an expression that said plainly as words 'duh' "My parents were cursed by earth's first villain."

DarkPriestess66: Okay people, My laptop is being a stupid P.O.S and caught a virus and I can not remove by myself, so I am using the "Family" Computer, which could be a stone age worthy. So my S.P.D fics and Oliver twins as Active Rangers are going to be completely written by imagination. All my eps of the series are on my laptop.
