Chapter 7
Tiredly rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand, Himeragi looks up at her sleeping Senpai. The light from the television illuminating his face. Strong jawline, prominent cheekbones, full eyelashes, a small nose. Letting a small smile lift the corner of her lips, the young Shaman takes her blanket merely to drape it over his body. Hesitantly running her finger across his soft face, a blush coats her cheeks despite her efforts not to. Such soft skin. Shaking her head, the young teenager gets up to stretch out her limbs before heading to the bathroom.
Flicking the light switch on, her eyes peer at herself in the mirror. Growing dark circles underneath her eyes. Despite her attempts to be strong, the gut-wrenching thought of Hiroki sent the young Shaman into restless nights. It's her fight. Hers alone. She did not want her Senpai to take no part, but he was always there for her. Gripping her shirt, she swallows hard. He's always there for her when she's in trouble when she should be able to withstand it.
"I don't want Senpai to get hurt. Not because of me." Her small voice echoes the vacant bathroom.
Her eyes flutter close for a second, before opening back up. An attempt of a smile trying to lift her lips. Slapping her cheeks, she heads to her bedroom, trying to sleep it off. Knowing too well, her mind will be filled with Hirkoi instead of dreams.
Turning off the lights, she takes one last look at her sleeping Senpai before heading to her bedroom. Double checking her windows are secure, she slips into bed. Her eyes taking one last glimpse of her white ceiling before shutting close. Sleep consuming her body.
Scrunching up her eyebrows at the sound of shuffling in her bedroom, Himeragi struggles to open her eyes. A stinging sensation burning her right arm. Suddenly alarm fills her head, which causes her to try harder to open her eyes. Achieving success, the young Shaman loses her breath at the sight of Hiroki towering over her. His crooked smile plastered on his face.
"Why good morning my neko," He whispers, fingers tracing her plump lips, "It's so wonderful to have you return to my home."
Helplessly she opens her mouth to speak, yet her throat constricts. Silence slipping between the cracks of her lips. Rough dirty hands grasp her waist, merely to lift her over his shoulders. Tears stinging her eyes at the vulnerability she possesses.
Stupid Himeragi. You should know you can't do everything all on your own.
Struggling to keep her eyes open, her vision begins to blacken. A glimpse of Kojou still asleep staining her mind.
Senpai, help.
