Whatever you might think, popcorn is not soft.

Crunchy and scratchy and buttered evilly, the tiny, malicious popped kernels found their way into everything. Not an inch of the Sports Shop was spared and all of the PSA headquarters would smell like the movie theater for weeks. I managed to find which way was up, despite the sudden loss of orientation. Being teleported and suddenly covered in popcorn is not the best for my inborn sense of direction.

Some kids outside yelled something about a popcorn party, but I didn't care. Gary said something about being glad we were all okay, I still didn't care, but then he got a call. Everything was falling into place. All the files and the entire building had been reduced to rubble. Gary thought that continuing the PSA was futile and they should convert to EPF. I stayed silent, my face expressionless.

There was an awkward silence after Dot suggested the penguin join the EPF. We both knew it was something that wasn't up to her to decide, but that sweet, soft heart of hers took over. That's why Dot is in disguises and spy operations, not communications. I, Jet Pack Guy, was where I belonged in operations and we just had to trust the system.

What was said was said. We would have to work around that. Either way, the PSA was eliminated like planned, and Herbert was unquestionably blamed for it. The game the PSA never knew they were playing was lost, and we had won. None of them knew I was a double agent and that cover was more important than completion.

I couldn't see Dot, but I heard her voice yelling, "Don't you dare do that, Rookie! Stop! It's not safe!"

I laughed softly under my breath, but then felt a buzzing in my pocket. A new message.

"Good job, penguin," It read in pixelated letters.

The address on the phone was from someone named Agent Hand. I didn't know that penguin. Another message popped up quickly afterward, and this one was a mission. When I get a mission, I would not stop until it was done. It said simply:

"New mission: Eliminate the Director."

Pay attention. There is evidence that JPG is merely acting loyal. I cannot prove it, only write about it.
