Book 1: Water: Chapter 11: The Storm

"Water, Earth, Fire, Air."

"Long ago it is said that people were able to control these elements at will, but there was only one that could control all four elements, the Avatar, the one who was said to bring stability to the world in times of crisis.

"But as the old way of controlling the elements was switched out with Ninjutsu, the Avatar also vanished."

"But now the Avatar has returned in the form of one of my students, Uzumaki Naruto."

"Thanks to an accident however, my team and I have been sent backwards through time to a world that has suffered a century old war and we must help the current Avatar stop the Fire-Nation, and find a way back to our own time."

(Story Start)

Within the dream. As Aang looks happy face while he is riding Appa. As he flicks the reins in his hands, With Appa floating contently through the sky, flapping his six paws in unison. And on to the right, revealing Sokka and Sasuke to glide alongside them, using Aang's glider with Sasuke to top of it. Soon on with the Water Tribe warrior and the Uchiha, who contently grins broadly at Aang. Cut to Aang's face who has that same content grin on his face. He turns his attention to his right, and the follows his gaze, revealing Katara sitting atop a giant Momo's head with Sakura while waving at Aang. As he turn his head behind to the saddle that reveal to be Naruto and Kakashi reading his book waving at Aang. As the group coursing leisurely through the open sky.

"We need you, Aang." Katara said softly.

While the Bold Avatar looking at Katara replied. "I need you, too." He said contently.

Suddenly Aang notices something out of the corner of his eye that startles him. His eyes grow big and he directs his full attention to whatever is in front of him, while the sky's coloring changes from a soft yellow, to a darker, more menacing green and gray. From a close side-view of Aang's wide eyes, the camera swiftly turns further to the right to reveal an incoming whirling storm cloud. Cut back to Aang who yanks Appa's reins in fright.

"Be careful, guys!" Aang alarmed but he looks to his left and right in wonder. "Guys?" As he look behind it turns out Naruto and Kakashi is missing.

It turns out that revealing Aang and Appa floating all alone in a now dark gray sky. But then Aang's attention view as Gyatso sitting in lotus position floats down to position himself in front of Aang.

"Gyatso?" Aang exclaimed.

"Why did you disappear?" Gyatso whispering in a sad tone.

Aang replied. "I didn't mean to." He said softly and sadly.

With the two monks, not a meter apart from one another. Aang reaches out to Gyatso, but before he can touch him, Gyatso turns gray and dissipates into smoke which blows over Aang, causing him to raise his left arm in front of his face and turn away to shield himself from it. Frontal shot of Aang as the last of the smoke washes over him. He peeks over his arm, but instantly raises his head, his eyes growing big in shock; a dark shadow passes over him. Until Appa flying into the storm cloud.

"We need you, Aang." Gyatso said.

Another cloud obscures them from sight; a lightning bolt flashes, and cut to a frontal shot of a screaming and frightened Aang, while rain beats down on him and Appa. Cut to an underwater shot at the moment Aang and Appa plummet into the ocean. The duo floats on the current; close-up of Aang's hand as he loses his grip on Appa's rein.

"We need you, Aang." Gyatso and Kataraghostly said the same As Aang let go the reign and he became unconscious sinking toward the bottom. "We need you. We need you, Aang. We need you." They repeated

Aang disappears in the darkness of the deep ocean. Lightning flashes again, briefly revealing the silhouette of the Fire Lord surrounded by flames.

In reality. Aang gasping for air and shooting upright, startling Momo, who was curled up on top of Aang. Momo leaps onto Katara's stomach, causing the girl to shoot up with a startled look on her face, before jumping on Sokka's, who shoots up, still sleepy, holding his dagger and boomerang to the ready. While Everyone is sleep ignored the commotion.

"What's going on?" Sokka said sleepily as he look around. "Did we get captured again?" He wondered.

With Aang look at his friends minus team 7 that they were asleep and said. "It's nothing. I just had a bad dream." As he laying curls up, turning his back to them. "Go back to sleep."

"Don't have to tell me twice." Sokka said and went back to sleep.

While Katara looks at Aang with concern. "Are you all right, Aang?" She asked,

"I'm okay." Aang replied.

With Sakura awoke and heard the commotion. "Well... You seem to be having a lot of nightmares lately. You want to tell me about it?" She suggested.

While Aang close eyes. "I think I just need some rest."

While Sokka sits up; optimistically. "You guys want to hear about my dream?" Before Katara glares at him in annoyance at his insensitivity and he glares back at her. "That's okay. I didn't want to talk about it anyway." The siblings and Sakura lie back down. As while Naruto and the others heard about Aang's Nightmare.

With Kakashi is half a sleep. "Hope you can tell us one day, Aang." with that he close his eyes to continue to rest.

==At the Morning Sunrise==

The waves crashing the sands. Aapa's yawned while Katara and Sakura is packing up, Sokka and Sasuke is helping Katara, while Kakashi checking some supplies like the his team and Aang and Naruto is talking to Appa.

"Look at those clear skies, buddy! Should be some smooth flying." Aang admitted staring the flock of birds passing by.

"Your right, Aang." Naruto admitted.

With Katara dumps a bag upside down, sprinkling the ground with crumbs. Momo gobbles them up. "Well, we better smoothly fly ourselves to a market, 'cause we're out of food." She stated before she climb on the saddle.

With Sakura behind her. "Yeah, we been travel in days for food."

That made Sokka flinch. "Guys, wait. This was in my dream. We shouldn't go to the market." Before Katara passing through her brother. That made everyone attention.

"What happened in your dream?" Sakura asked in wondered while checking some supplies with Katara.

"Food eats people!" Sokka answered with his eyes are bugged out in fright, and the camera zooms in on him and rotates slightly. The screen goes green and alien music plays.

That made Katara is shown shaking her head along with Sakura with a frown expression while Aang tighting the reign while Naruto help him. With Sasuke and Kakashi sighed of what Sokka's weird dream.

"Also, Momo could talk." Sokka added pointed to Momo. "You said some very unkind things." He scold with his arms crossed that made Momo coos.

While Kakashi was staring at the flock before Aang and Naruto seen, since those birds flies straight the direction that tells him one thing. 'It seems the flocks were heading to the next location? My guessed is, the storm is coming... A big one too. From the north.' one-eye jonin thought.

==Meanwhile, in the Sea==

As the the bird flock flies passing the Fire Nation Ship sails the ocean. As changes to Zuko and Iroh aboard a Fire Nation ship. While Zuko holding the telescope and Iroh sniffs the air.

"There is a storm coming. A big one." Old general stated while the prince lower his scope.

"You're out of your mind, Uncle." Zuko stated as he approaches him. "The weather's perfect. There's not a cloud in sight." with a gestured about the weather.

While Iroh stared the front of the ship it tells it's north. "A storm is approaching from the north." As he turn to his nephew. "I suggest we alter our course and head southwest." He suggested.

Zuko stated. "We know the Avatars is traveling northward," As he pointed at the North, "so we will do the same." With his arms on his back.

As Iroh argued. "Prince Zuko, consider the safety of the crew."

"The safety of the crew doesn't matter!" Zuko furious while turn his attention as a Lieutenant named Jee walks up onto deck at that moment. He raises an eyebrow. Zuko walks over to him. "Finding the Avatars is far more important than any individual's safety." As Zuko walks away while Jee glares at him before close the steel door.

"He doesn't mean that. He's just all worked up." Iroh muttered to Jee.

==At the Harbor Town==

At the Harbor town were many merchant boats parked and while Appa who is floating beside the dock to where the group are shopping for food at a small fishing town market. While Kakashi is usual reading and Sokka grab some fruits, and with Sasuke, Naruto and Aang stand at Katara. As Katara holding a watermelon with Sakura examine it.

Merchant women scowled. "It's good. It's perfect. I'm telling you!" As Katara shaking a watermelon with a swishing sound.

"I don't think I like the sound of that swishing." Sakura spoke in comment that made merchant women frowned.

As the Merchant women walk out her stand. "Swishing means it's ripe! It's the ripe juices swishing around. Huh!" She explained.

"I think it's true, Katara. Swishing means it's ripe." Aang stated about the watermelon.

With Naruto spoke. "Yeah, what he said!"

"I just realized we're out of money anyway." Katara said before put down the watermelon she was holding. As Sokka holding the basket, walk off behind Katara,

As the Merchant women/Shopkeeper saw the basket Sokka's holding. "Awww!" the woman snatches the basket out of Sokka's hands and kicks him in the rear before he pass by. As Everyone heading by the Docks.

==At the Docks==

With Avatar group and Team 7 went to the dock. Sokka is rubbing where the lady kicked him.

Sokka still rubbing and stated. "Out of food and out of money. Now what are we supposed to do?" He exclaimed.

"You could get a job, smart guy." Katara said with her hands on her hips.

With Sakura spoke. "She's right? Since we Ninjas from the future takes some jobs like taking missions."

"Or rather 'chores'!" Naruto added with Sasuke nodded agreed.

A fisherman and his wife appear behind the group.

Before the women grab his shoulder. "We shouldn't go out there! Please, the fish can wait. There's going to be a terrible storm." They begin a conversation with one another, but are overheard by the group. That made alarmed Aang and Kakashi.

"You're crazy. It's a nice day." As with his arms spread in the air. "No clouds, no winds, no nothing, so quit your nagging, woman." Fisherman argued.

"Maybe we should find some shelter?" Aang said in concerned.

"Are you kidding? Shelter from what?" Sokka said.

"My joints say there's going to be a storm! A bad one." women protested with her arms crossed.

"Well, it's your joints against my brain." fisherman replied pointing his head.

"Then I hope your brain can find someone else to haul that fish, 'cause I ain't coming." women replied.

Fisherman declared. "Then I'll find a new fish hauler and pay him double what you get! How do you like that?"

While Sokka ran at the fisherman raise his hand and exclaimed."I'll go."

With respond from the fisherman pointed at him "You're hired!"

Sokkarolled his eyes behind to the group. "What?" As he to his sister. "You said get a job, and he's paying double." Before he turn back to the fisherman.

Fisherman eyebrows raised."Double? Who told you that nonsense?" He exclaimed.

==Back the Ocean==

As the Ship sails and the clouds have rolled in. With Lieutenant Jee and 3 crewman and turn to Zuko while he was walking outside in the deck.

"Looks like your uncle was right about the storm after all." Jee said with his arms crossed.

"Lucky guess." Iroh said pleasantly.

Zuko turn to the lieutenant. "Lieutenant! You'd better learn some respect..." Jabs two fingers into Jee's chest. "– or I'll teach it to you." As he pass throught the lieutenant.

Lieutenant argued. "What do you know about respect?" While Iroh tries to signal Lieutenant Jee to stop talking before Zuko standing behind him. "The way you talk to everyone around here, from your hard-working crew to your esteemed uncle, shows you know nothing about respect!" Iroh is now shown with his hand on his forehead in frustration. "You don't care about anyone but yourself! Then again, what should I expect from a spoiled prince?" With his arms spread.

Then that make Zuko annoyed turns around and extends his right arm as if preparing to firebend. Lieutenant Jee does the same.

Iroh stated. "Easy now." Zuko and Jee both wrist block the other's arm; smoke rises from Zuko's hand. Iroh breaks it up. "Enough!" As Iroh gaze at his nephew. "We're all a bit tired from being at sea so long." With his arms together on his sleeves with his eyes closed before he gaze at Jee. "I'm sure after a bowl of noodles, everyone will feel much better." With Zuko and Jee glared each other, then Lieutenant walks away along with the crew.

With Zuko turn around on front of the ship and stated. "I don't need your help keeping order on my ship." angry tone.

Iroh puts a comforting hand on Zuko's right shoulder, but Zuko shrugs it off and walks away.

==With the Group - At the Docks==

Back to the fishing town's dock where Team Avatar and 7 is at. Sokka is carrying supplies onto the fisherman's boat.

Aang stated. "Sokka, maybe this isn't such a good idea."

"Look at the sky." Naruto added stared at the sky. "You know what the old lady said about the storm?"

"What will you will caught in the storm?" Sakura suggested.

Sokka turn the Avatars. "I said I was going to do this job. I can't back out just because of some bad weather." While going below deck. While before the Avatars gain attention to the women.

"The boy with the tattoos and whiskers kid has some sense. You should listen to them!" Fisherman's wife said to his husband with her arms on her hips.

That made the Fisherman flinch of the describe . "Boy with tattoos?" The fisherman turns around to look at Aang and Naruto. "Airbender tattoos. Well, I'll be a hog monkey's uncle. You're the Avatar, ain't ya?" He asked.

"That's right." Sakura said with Katara and Aang smile. "Same goes with my teammate, too. From the future." she pointed to her blond-teammate with Naruto foxy-grin.

"That future, eh?" Fisherman frowned and stared at Aang. "Well, don't be so smiley about it." Katara, Sakura, Naruto and Aang frown now. "The Avatar disappeared for a hundred years! You turned your back on the world!" He scolds Aang jab his finger on his chest, As he glance at Naruto. "And also I don't care you from the future too." That made Naruto upset and while Kakashi stop Naruto to calm down by grabbing his shoulder.

Katara argued. "Don't yell at him and Naruto! Aang would never turn his back on anyone." She said.

"That's right! Don't you dare to yelled at Aang and Naruto!" Sakura exclaimed,

"Oh, he wouldn't, huh?" FIsherman place his hand on his beard. "Then I guess I just have imagined the last hundred years of war and suffering." That made Aang's eyes widen.

Katara move behind of him protested the old man. "Aang is the bravest person I know. He's done nothing but help people and save lives since I met him." With Aang slowly backs away.

"It's not his fault he disappeared, right Aang?" Sakura added, As Katara and Sakura turns around to see Aang backing away.

"Aang, what's wrong?" Katara wondered.

As Aang got out the wings and flies off on his glider. With Katara raise her hand and everyone was stunned of the old man fisherman's hurtful words.

Fisherman yelled. "That's right! Keep flying!"

As Katara turn glared at the old man. "You're a horrible old man!" As she went to Appa to get on while everyone was joining her.

With Naruto glaring at the old man. "You are such a old coot!" Then joining with Katara and Sasuke with a 'Hm', with Kakashi with a sigh and put his book away.

As Sakura glared at the Old coot. 'CHA! I'M GONNA KILL THAT BASTARD TO HURT AANG"S FEELINGS!'

"You will be sorry if you made a terrible mistake!" Sakura warned him as she gets on Appa. That made Old man scoffed.

With Sakura on board and Katara whipped the reign. "Appa, yip yip!"

As Appa flies out of the water, a big wave splashes the fisherman. Sokka walks out from below deck on the boat.

"Hey! They left without saying good-bye!" Sokka said.

"Your friends ain't too polite, are they?" Fisherman comment as he turn and pick a crate.

Sokka stated. "I know! This one time, I was..."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Get below deck!" Fisherman said hands Sokka a crate.

==Moment Later Stormy Rain==

As Katara riding on Appa in the rain, trying to find Aang with Team 7. Then as Kakashi called everyone and point a finger that shows where a cave is. As Katara and the group outside the cave, once they enter the cave and saw Aang sitting inside with a sad face.

"I'm sorry for running away, you guys." Aang apology quietly.

Katara replied."It's okay. That fisherman was way out of line."

"Actually, he wasn't." Aang stated.

"What do you mean, Aang?" Sakura wondered.

Aang turn his head behind before speaks in a sad voice. "I don't want to talk about it."

"It has to do with your dream, doesn't it?" Katara said as she approaches him puts her hand on his shoulder.

"Talk to us, Aang." Naruto said.

"Well, it's kind of a long story." Aang stated.

Suddenly, Momo leaps past Aang, Sakura, Naruto and Katara, startling them. Appa has also entered the cave. He nuzzles Aang's head with his nose, making Aang smile. Aang pats Appa's chin.

As Sasuke stood and pass the group and said. "I'm going to try to get a little fire going."

"Thanks Sasuke." Katara replied.

Next scene shows Katara, Aang and Team 7 sitting around a fire. Momo is lying on Aang's lap.

Aang broke his silent."I'll never forget the day the monks told me I was the Avatar. I was playing with some other kids just outside the South Wall. I was trying to teach them how to do the air scooter."He started his tale the day he became the Avatar.

==Flashback - 100 years ago==

The scene reveal when Aang is with some other Air Nomads.

Aang stated before swing his hands to create a ball. "First you got to form the ball, then you got to get on quick." Before he jumped ride the ball of wind.

Aang is seen riding around on the scooter in the court.

"YEAH HA HA!" Aang exclaimed.

One of the boys tries it. Air Nomad boy #1. "Okay, here goes." He mimic the same movements.

The boy forms it and tries getting on, As Aang called. "Quick get on."

"Woah, woah, oh, oh, oh, OH! UMPH!" But he spins and falls off. Aang gently gets off his.

"You kind of have to balance on it like it's a top." Aang explained before spin his finger sides.

As the Air Nomad boy #1 sit up. "Man, that's hard." He complained.

As the Air Nomad boy #2 went to Aang and tug his cape. "Where'd you learn that trick, Aang?" He asked.

"I made it up." Aang answered shrugged.

"Wow!" Air Nomad boy #2 exclaimed.

The Council of Elders shows up at that moment.

"Aang, come with us. We need to speak with you." A eldest monk named Gyatso called, with the elders behind him. As Aang walk towrds them with glance at the young Air benders.

Scene changes to when Aang and the elder monks are in the meeting room.

"How do you know it's me?" Aang asked.

Tashi stated. "We have known you were the Avatar for some time. Do you remember these?" As he took out a scroll and airbends a wrapped-up mat to Aang. It opens up, revealing four toys.

"Those were some of my favorite toys when I was little!" Aang stated as he picks up the propeller toy before turn his attention to the elders.

Tashi stated. "You chose them from among thousands of toys, Aang. The toys you picked were the four Avatar relics. These items belonged to Avatars past. Your own past lives." Before Aang stared that toy.

"I just chose them because they seemed fun." Aang said smiles and pulls the cord on the propeller toy, sending the propeller spinning into the air. It spins through the air and the scene cuts back to a close view of the five monks. "You chose them because they were familiar." Tashi said, as the toy goes over his head. Before it landed it.

Gyatso spoke in to explained to Aang. "Normally we would have told you of your identity when you turned sixteen, but there are troubling signs. Storm clouds are gathering." With the view of Aang zoom closer.

Pasang declared. "I fear that war may be upon us, young Avatar."

"We need you, Aang." Gyatso added.

Aang lowers his head, his responsibility crushing him. His head stays lowered

==Flashback Ended==

Aang's head remains lowered in the present as well. Cut to a wider shot of Aang on the left besides Naruto, Katara on the right with Sakura, with Sasuke on the middle of the fire with Kakashi while still reading, the fire between them. Katara, Naruto and Sakura looks upon him with concern and sympathy.

==At the Seas==

The scene changes back to Zuko's ship. Jee is talking about Zuko to a couple other men.

Jee stated after his drink. "I'm sick of taking his orders! I'm tired of chasing his Avatars! Since there is two of them since the Kyoshi island? Since those 4 stranger came from the 'future' that Zuko described it, I mean, who does Zuko think he is?"

"Do you really want to know?" A voice stated that made the soldiers recognized him.

Jee is shown standing up at the sound of Iroh's voice and protested. "General Iroh. We were just-" As Iroh cuts him off.

"It's okay." Iroh said polite. "May I join you?"

Jee gesture pointed at shown sitting down and replied. "Of course, sir."

As Iroh wentto his sit scratching his bread. "Try to understand. My nephew is a complicated young man. He has been through much." He explained.

==Scene changes to a flashback - Before Zuko's Banishment==

Zuko walks up to the curtains to get in the war room, but the guards stop him.

"Let me in!" Young Zuko demanded.

Before Iroh came in the scene and asked."Prince Zuko, what's wrong?"

Young Zuko answered pointed at the entrance."I want to go into the war chamber but the guard won't let me pass!"

As Iroh took Zuko walk few away distance and said."You're not missing anything, trust me. These meetings are dreadfully boring.

Zuko stated."If I'm going to rule this nation one day," Before turn his face to his uncle. "don't you think I need to start learning as much as I can?"

Irohsilen before saying. "Very well. But you must promise not to speak." Before turn his head a person pass by. "These old folks are a bit sensitive, you know?" With a smile.

Young Zuko bowed. "Thank you, Uncle."

Zuko and Iroh walk into the war room. The meeting starts.

==Inside the Meeting==

The meeting fill with flames at the Fire Lord's Throne. With the Board of that shows the map of the Earth Nation.

Bujing explained. "The Earth Kingdom defenses are concentrated here." He shows the place on the map. "A dangerous battalion of their strongest earthbenders and fiercest warriors. So I am recommending the forty-first division." Before he move the piece in placed.

Elder soldier spoke."But the forty-first is entirely new recruits. How do you expect them to defeat a powerful Earth Kingdom battalion?"

"I don't. They'll be used as a distraction while we mount an attack from the rear. What better to use as bait than fresh meat?" Bujing replied with a smirked.

"You can't sacrifice an entire division like that! Those soldiers love and defend our nation! How can you betray them?" Young Zuko exclaimed before standing up.

Camera shows everyone in the war room staring at Zuko.

==Back to the present time==

"Zuko was right, you see, but it was not his place to speak out. And there were dire consequences."Iroh said to the soldiers about Zuko. Which made them stunned and silent about his tale.

==With The Group==

"So you were upset that you were the Avatar?" Katara said.

"Why wouldn't you be excited about it?" Sakura added asking.

Aangstared the flames. "Well, I didn't know how to feel about it." Before he left his head at the group. "All I knew was that after I found out, everything began changing."

==Flashback Started==

Aang enters into the South Wall again. The Air Nomad kids are shown on air scooters.

"Hey, not bad! You guys have been practicing!" Aang impressed.

Air Nomad boy #2 riding the scooter around Aang. "Not only that! We made up a game you can play with the air scooters!" He stated.

"Great!" Aang said before is shown making his own. But everyone else makes theirs vanish. "What's going on?"He asked wondering.

Air Nomad boy #1 answered. "Now that you're the Avatar, it's kind of an unfair advantage for whichever team you're on." Since the rest know the announcement." Before he shrugged his shoulders, hands widen.

"But I'm still the same! Nothing's changed!" Aang stated. "So, what? I can't play?"

"That's the only fair way."Air Nomad boy #1 answered.

Before Aang get off his scooter. "Oh, okay." He walked away.

"Sorry, Aang."Air Nomade #2 apology of seeing him walk out.

Aang is shown leaving the South Wall.

Now Air Nomad boy #1 turn the group. "Okay. Now, who wants Jinju on their team?"He declared before pointing at the direction.

An young Air Nomad named Jinju is shown in the corner with a gas around him, laughing with a nod twice. (AN: Man! This kid is a goof ball.)

Scene changes to Aang and Gyatso playing a game of Pai Sho. Aang is shown moving a piece.

"Very interesting move, young one." Gyatso impressed before he place his hand on his chin and the other behind his hand.

"What do you mean?" Aang confused.

Gyatso is shown using airbending to make a spiral, flipping a part of Aang's clothing. Gyatso quickly moves two pieces around. Aang is shown flipping his clothing back into place.

"Hey!" Aang frowned playful. Now Gyatso and Aang begun to laugh. Right before the door open when Monk Tashi appears.

"You're playing games with him?" Tashi stated. "The Avatar should be training!"

"Aang has already trained enough for today." Gyasto stated.

"Time is short." Tashi glance at Aang wing his hand to 'come here', Before Aang stood to go with him. "Come with me. I must test you on some high level techniques." Til they walk out.

Gyatso raised his hand. "No. As long as I'm his guardian, I will decide when he trains ... and when he gets his butt kicked at Pai Sho." He stated gesture at the board game.

Tashi glared at Gyatso. "Hmph!" He grumbled before he is shown walking away. Before Aang turn to Gyatso with a smile

==Flashback Ended==

Showing the Group were gathered from the tale from Aang and the scene changes to on Zuko's ship. Iroh stated."After Zuko's outburst in the meeting," a flashback appears before Zuko turn his head at the throne, "the Fire Lord became very angry with him." As the fire in front of the Fire Lord's throne rising before the flashback quickly ended. "He said the challenge against the general was an act of complete disrespect! And there was only one way to resolve this." He explained with a disappointed then replace with shameful.

"Agni Kai."Jee guessed. "A fire duel."

"That's right." Iroh stated before look at the soldier side by side and explained. " Zuko looked upon the old general he had insulted and declared that he was not afraid. But Zuko misunderstood."

==Flashback shows Zuko preparing for the Agni Kai==

While Zuko stood and made a stance, but he drop the stance for he did not realized of what he up against. Before Iroh voice spoke in while the cape is falling in the ground. "When he turned to face his opponent, he was surprised to see it was not the general." It shows the cloak that was on Zuko's shoulders fall down to the ground before. As Iroh continue. "Zuko had spoken out against the general's plan, but by doing so in the Fire Lord's war room, it was the Fire Lord whom he had disrespected." Beofre the camera zoon in for it shows Zuko becoming teary-eyed. "Zuko would have to duel his own father."

==Flashback Ended==

The scene changes back to the cave where Aang, Katara and Team 7 are.

"Then, just when I was feeling better, something worse happened."Aang stated while the others continue to listen Aang's story.

==Flashback Started==

At the meeting chamber were Monk Tashi and Monk Gyatso speaking to Monk Pasang.

"Aang needs to have freedom and fun. He needs to grow up as a normal boy." Gyatso stated.

Tashi frown before turn his face to Gyatso. "You cannot keep protecting him from his destiny."

Pasang spoked. "Gyatso, I know you mean well, but you are letting your affection for the boy cloud your judgment."

"All I want is what is best for him." Gyatso argued.

"But what we need is what's best for the world." Pasang said with silent, before look at Gyatso. "You and Aang must be separated! The Avatar will be sent away to the Eastern Air Temple to complete his training." He declared beofre Gyatso disblief before he bowed.

But without notice. Aang is shown looking through a hole in the ceiling, shocked at the news that he just heard.

==Flashback Ended==

As the rain still pouring. As the Group could not believe what they heard.

"That's awful, Aang." Sakura disbelief expression.

Katara raise her hand to his shoulder. "I don't know what to say."

Now Aang stands up beofre Momo startled. "How could they do that to me?" He upsetted before the wind surrounds him. "They wanted to take away everything I knew and everyone I loved!" As he activates the Avatar State with a burst.

With Everyone cover themselves in the flames.

"Whoa! Hot cinders!" Katara shocked.

"Aang calm down!" Naruto said.

Aang comes out of the Avatar State, walks to the fire. "I'm sorry I got so mad." He apology and sits down again.

"You have the right to be angry after the monks sent you away like that." Sakura stated.

"Tell us what's happnes next?" Kakashi asked.

"Well, that's not exactly what happened." Aang stated about back at the time.

==Flashback Starts Again==

It showing Aang looking out the window of his bedroom watching his friends playing with the scooters. Aang's voice came in. "I was afraid and confused. I didn't know what to do."

Flashback shows Aang lying on his bed before changing to Gyatso walking to Aang's room. Before a single knock make it open itself.

"Aang," Gyatso called, before he enter his room. "I'm not going to let them take you away from me. Aang?" Before Gyatso is shown opening the door more, spotting the scroll, and grab's it then opening it up to read of what went wrong. He gasps, and sees a storm coming outside the window.

Still in present, but flashback playing still. Before Aang's voice in stated. "I never saw Gyatso again." Flashback shows Aang and Appa through the storm screaming then crushing in the ocean, and how Aang got into the iceberg. "Next thing I knew, I was waking up in your arms after you found me in the iceberg." Flashback shows Katara's face that was seen in "The Boy in the Iceberg".

==The Flashback Ended==

As the fire is started to weaker. With Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke and Kakashi was disbelief of how Aang's story about during his past.

"You ran away." Katara said while Aang sitting on his knees.

"And then the Fire Nation attacked our temple. My people needed me and I wasn't there to help." Aang stated.

"You don't know what would have-" Kakashi stated.

"The world needed me and I wasn't there to help." Aang cut his sentence before spread his arms wide.

"Aang..." Katara said in concerned.

Aang stated. "The fisherman was right! I did turn my back on the world!" Before turn his face on the side.

"It's not true, Aang." Naruto argued.

"You're being too hard on yourself, even if you did run away. I think it was meant to be. If you had stayed, you would have been killed along with all the other airbenders." Katara said.

"You don't know that." Aang said sadden for none his business.

"Aang, we know it was meant to be this way. The world needs you now. You give people hope." Kakashi stated, but with that Aang turn his head to everyone with a smile, when Momo went to Aang and pat him.

==At Zuko's Ship==

"When Prince Zuko saw that it was his father who had come to duel him, he begged for mercy." Iroh continue his tale.

==Flashback Start==

Zuko saw his father approaches him and begged. "Please, Father. I only had the Fire Nation's best interest at heart. I'm sorry I spoke out of turn!"

Ozai's silhouette is shown walking up to Zuko and said. "You will fight for your honor."

As Zuko place his hands and knees, crying and begging for mercy. "I meant you no disrespect. I am your loyal son!"

"Rise and fight, Prince Zuko!" Ozai exclaimed.

Zuko Kneels on the ground in front of Ozai, pleading. "I won't fight you."

"You will learn respect, and suffering will be your teacher." Ozai stated before Zuko raised his head at his father.

With the crowd. in present; flashback is still going. "I looked away." When Iroh shows Iroh looking away, and Ozai's daughter and Zuko's sister Azula and Zhao smiling evilly. A fire blast is heard, followed by Zuko's scream from being burned by it.

==Flashback Ended==

As it returns to the present time. While Iroh felt painful and depressed about Zuko's punishment.

"I always thought that Prince Zuko was in a training accident." Jee said thought about Zuko had a training accident.

Iroh explained it to the crew. "It was no accident. After the duel, the Fire Lord said that by refusing to fight, Zuko had shown shameful weakness. As punishment, he was banished and sent to capture the Avatar. Only then could he return with his honor."

"So that's why he's so obsessed. Capturing the Avatar is the only chance he has of things returning to normal." Jee realized about Zuko's Goal.

"Things will never return to normal. But the important thing is the Avatar gives Zuko hope." Iroh declared. "Since before the new strangers we encounter from the Kyoshi Isand."

==WIth Zuko==

Zuko meditating, while having flashbacks of his younger life. He is stopped by a hit on the ship.

==With the Group==

Aang, Katara, Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi. The fisherman's wife appears.

"Help! Oh, please help!" Fisherman's wife called for help.

"Is that the old lady?" Naruto wondered.

As Katara and Sakura grabs lady and brings her near the fire. "It's okay. You're safe." Sakura said..

"But my husband isn't." Fisherman's wife stated.

"What do you mean? Where's Sokka?" Sasuke asked.

"They haven't returned! They should have been back by now! And this storm is becoming a typhoon! They're caught out at sea!" Fisherman's wife explained with Aang and Naruto was disbelief of what happen to Sokka. But before Aang stood.

"I'm going to find him!" Aang declared.

"I'm going with you!" Katara stated.

"Me too!" Sakura added.

"We're going as well." Naruto exclaimed.

"Hm." Sasuke replied.

"I'm staying here." The fisherman's wife said is shown sitting down by the fire.

"Suit yourself." Naruto stated.

Aang and the others are shown about to leave on Appa.

"We'll be back soon. I promise." Aaang said to her.

"You can count on us." Naruto added.

Aang, Katara, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi fly out.

==Zuko's ship==

With Zuko on the deck. "Where were we hit?" He stated.

"I don't know!" Jee replied.

"Look!" Iroh pointed at the bridge

Zuko and the others took ath the damage bridge. "The helmsman!" THe prince exclaimed.

Zuko and Lieutenant Jee are shown climbing up a ladder to help a man who is about to fall. Lightning goes down to the middle of the ship, where Iroh is. He uses redirection so it does not damage the ship. But Iroh was covered in smoke and a move of true selflessness. As the wave hits the boat. As the helmsman fell a hand grab by Zuko with Jee help him.

==With Aang and the others==

Katara, Aang and Team 7 looking for the fisherman and Sokka.

"Where are they?" Katara exclaimed, but

"Come on, Appa!" Aang called Appa is shown descending, with the wave his almost hitting Aang then he glared at the wave and called. "Naruto! Help me up!"

Now Naruto and Aang hitting the water by pass through.

"The boat! There!" Sakura exclaimed pointed at the direction.

Zuko is shown spotting Appa on the distance.

"The Avatar!" Zuko called in.

Jee asked. "What do you want to do, sir?" For waiting orders.

Zuko replied the lieutenet. "Let him go. We need to get this ship to safety."

Iroh look at the diection. "Then we must head directly into the eye of the storm." As the he, Zuko and Jee saw the sunlight beyond the storm that were the safely zone is.

Scene changes to show Sokka and the fisherman rocking back and forth on the boat.

"I'm too young to die! Sokka yelled while hlding the rope.

"I'm not, but I still don't wanna!" FIsherman exclaimed.

Aang shows up. He and Naruto jumps down onto the boat. As a pole is falling down, Aang and Naruto gasp, but before brings up fours pouts of water, splitting the pole in half. After the pole splits in half, Sokka and the fisherman are shown hugging each other. A rope is seen.

"Hang onto the rope." Aang instructed.

"Just don't let go!" Naruto added with he and Aang went back to Appa.

The fisherman and Sokka do so. Appa starts flying again. The rope swings up, making Sokka and the fisherman land on the saddle with fisherman spits the water on his mouth before they smile each other of safe. A big wave engulfed by the waves. In the same way as in his flashback. Everyone is shown floating away from Appa. Aang and Naruto goes into the Avatar State and saves everyone by place their fists together.

Scene changes to Zuko and Iroh together. Since before they arrive which happens to be navigating through the eye of the storm as well.

"Uncle, I'm sorry." Zuko apologized.

Iroh replied before place his hand on his shoulder. "Your apology is accepted." As that the ocean burst reveal to be the flying bison, as Aange and Zuko stared each other on the moment along with Naruto. Now they all go back to the cave where the fisherman's wife is.

==At the Cave==

Scene changes to Appa, Naruto, Katara, Sakura, Aang, Sokka, Sasuke, Kakashi and the fisherman at the cave.

"Oh, you're alive!" Fisherman's wife cheered as runs up to the fisherman and hugs him. "You owe this boy an apology!" He pointed at Aang.

"He doesn't have to apologize." Aang said.

Fisherman rubbing his chin and stated. "What if, instead of an apology, I give him a free fish and we call it even?"

"Actually, I don't eat meat." Aang explained."Fish ain't meat!" Fisherman frown.

Sokka stepped in took his hand. and said. "Seriously, you're still going to pay me, right?"

The fisherman hands Sokka a fish that makes him freak out. Katara and Aang are shown in a corner of the cave.

Aang went to Katara and said. "Katara, I think you were right before. I'm done dwelling on the past."

"Really?" Katara serious.

"She right, Aang." Naruto stated. "But you better forget the past, and move on."

"Thanks, Naruto. I can't make guesses about what would have turned out if I hadn't run away. I'm here now and I'm going to make the most out of it." Aang stated.

"I don't think you're gonna have those nightmares anymore." katara said with a smile.

Fisherman stpe in place hsis hand on his shoulder and said. "And if you weren't here now, well, I guess I wouldn't be either. Thank you for saving my life, Avatar."

"HELLO! THere's two of us!" Naruto exlcaimed.

"Oh!" Fisherman shockedk. "I guess I was right about you were from the futre."

"Of couse we are!" Naruto replied.

At the outside the cave that reveals that the rain is stopped. As Sokka look at it. "Do you hear that? It stopped raining." With turn his head at them.

Everyone goes outside. Appa shakes raindrops off himself, splashing everyone. Which cause them to quickly stepped back.

"Appa!" Naruto and Aang yelled.
