AN:
Hello and welcome! I'm Illuminating Colours ! This isn't my first story on , I have posted another put that I ended up hating and taking down. But I'm quite proud of this one, so I'm hoping it will stay. :)
Please note that this is one of my first published stories that aren't about any of my OCs.
Can you do me a favour and leave review? I really want to know what you think.
Disclaimer: I don't own any of these awesome characters. All rights to the evilly fabulous Mr Landy.
Now on with "Down falls the wall..."!
Valkyrie Cain whimpered as she clutched her throbbing head. Silver tears trekked down her pale cheeks. Her large dark eyes were blood shot and puffy. "Why can't you just leave me be?" She whispered harshly, her voice dry and brittle. "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST GO?!"
The wicked voice within her mind laughed joyfully. Valkyrie could practically hear her smile. Why would I? I am part of you after all, as you are part of me. Another wicked, twisted giggle. I simply can't leave poor little Valkyrie Cain feeling... Incomplete.
Valkyrie shook her head in an attempt to clear her mind. We complete each other Valkyrie Cain. We are one.
"NO! We do not complete each other! LEAVE. ME. ALONE!" She could feel her mind reaching the end of its tether.
We will rule this world. Together. You and I. The duo of death and destruction. Not even your pet skeleton can stop us. The voice broke down into manic laughter. Val felt herself shrinking back.
"You're mad." Snarled a positively terrified Valkyrie.
Only as mad as you, dear. Only as mad as you.
Something inside Valkyrie Cain's mind splintered. Something valuable. A tie. A tie to her humanity. The fierce, passionate glow of Valkyrie Cain receded and the malicious power of Darquesse stepped forward. Valkyrie Cain became a whisper at the back of their shared mind. The wall that once stood between Darquesse and Valkyrie had finally tumbled down. And it will fall with a crash upon humanity.
Fin.
Thank you very much for reading! Care to leave a review/favourite etc?
